So I went into fashion nation is the very first time ever this afternoon. I had been told by a customer where I work that it was a goth girls wet dream. I read the reviews of previous customers before I had went and they did not disappoint the staff was also friendly and helping me find a cute stylish shoe that would be very universal as far as outfit styles. I also ended up getting an item from the intersection for a friend of mine‘s daughter they literally have anything and everything. This Store is like hot topic on crack times 50. I can attest to the previous comments that they are very excepting an cool with the LGBTQ community as a trans woman that is very important anywhere I go. So thank you ever so much again to the amazing staff at fashion nation an amazing amount of products that you carry. You made this woman have a spooktastic experience. I most definitely will continue to tell others about this amazing place and continue to shop myself there whenever I am around in the area or have the time and money.

I love this place. I went here when I was a teenager at their old location. I got my first pair of creepers. Paul and Pam were always swell and easy to talk to. The other staff members are so friendly and welcoming. If you want a new pair of cool goth boots or retro creepers, this is a great place!

I've been buying my Doc's from FashioNation for years, from way back when they were across from Wax Trax! up to their newer Broadway location, and I have to say, their selection and attention to detail has not waned. It is always nice to see Paul and the gang, helping pick out styles, answering questions about upkeep, or just talking shop about trends and branding. Everyone I've had the pleasure of meeting at FN has been super-helpful and cool to chat with, and when I recently took my 24 year old nephew to FN so he could buy his first pair of Dr. Martens, Paul was a big help in the decision making process. My nephew is already talking about getting a second pair, and I know I could always use more boots, so looks like FashioNation has yet another patron for life.

Denver's classic goth emporium! Great selection, really nice staff. Totally dangerous for my budget (lol) but I love it here! Also, the best place for Doc Marten's in Denver in my opinion. If it's out of stock on the docs website, there's a solid chance they'll still have it, and in your size!

We stayed a day longer in Denver just to visit this store when traveling from Washington. It was well worth the wait. This store is awesome! The customer service is fantastic they really made you feel welcome. It's will be one of our first stops our next time to Denver.

I've gone there since I was 13, got my first pair of docs and some of my favorite dresses from there too. I still wear the docs and dress I got when I was 13 too. I'm 19, almost 20 and still love it there. The staff are friendly and helpful and they recognize me, which is sweet.

It's a great place for goth and alternative clothing. The service and the workers are wonderful, the atmosphere is awesome too. Beware, since it is not a chain it is a tad bit more expensive, but besides that, probably the best alt clothing store in colorado

I swear , this is the best store in Denver . They have all the docs you could dream of . I went in and spent €400 when I went my first time. Check it out . The staff and owner are all so sweet and helpful. Don’t forget to check the back side of the store . They have good stuff in the back too :)

if you haven't been, you're seriously missing out. just the vibe of the place is incredible, I personally love the styles of clothes and accessories they carry and the store is decorated in such a fun and unique way. the staff is so great as well, always willing to help you find what you're looking for, or even just to strike up a conversation. some of the prices of the items are a little high, but thats not a deterrent for me since they're carrying high quality brands like Doc Marten and Lip Service. I cannot recommend this place enough!

This is THE shop for punk/goth/alt people! One of my favorite stores in Denver, period. Great inventory, fair prices, and a ton of stuff to choose from. They're always incredibly friendly and sweet (especially towards LGBTQ+ peeps) and you can tell they're passionate about their business and making sure people leave happy. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The last time they were in they even let me and my girlfriend make buttons!

My daughter found fashionation from a tik tok and absolutely couldn't wait to come check the store out. She begged me for weeks and saved up her money to buy her first pair of boots. I will say I was a bit nervous coming in and didnt really know anything about the different kinds of boots they had. The staff here were absolutely the nicest people I've ever spoke with and super knowledgeable. The owner made my daughter feel like the center of attention and the whole store hyped her up and helped her pick her first pair of boots and they are perfect. I can't thank them enough for making that moment so special.

To not see FashioNation is to not see Denver...er, no, that's Elitch's, but the sentiment truly fits for this fine legendary establishment. My girl just turned 12 which was the age I told her she could have her first pair of Doc's. I had remembered the great piece Westword wrote about this place and knew that we would find her first pair. The experience was amazing - eye candy for ANYONE whether it was the amazing footwear, clothing or history for music lovers and historians. The wall of artists whom have stepped foot in FashioNation and the line-up of autographed boots from your favorite bands are enough to make your heart swell and bring tears to your eyes because it's so overwhelming (and I am sure that what is on display is just a small percentage of what actually exists). Our experience was welcoming and everyone was so nice and helpful. It was fun to chat and connect with people I've never met before about the autographs and through the love of MUSIC and fashions. We walked out of there with a beautiful pair of boots that seemed to be made just for my daughter. As with most things in life that matter, you don't find boots, they find you.💕 Thank you for a wonderful experience and the biggest smile I've seen from my daughter in a long time.

Went there on a vacation with a friend, the staff is super friendly and even though I asked to try on a lot of shoes they still didn’t act like I was bothering them (don’t worry they didn’t go through all that for nothing I did end up buying a pair!) I do wish the clothes they had came in more plus sizes options as me and my friend who are plus sized were sadly only able to get shoes due to the clothes not fitting us. Would go again just due to the staffs friendly nature and the fact that trying on shoes I can only ever find online is a dream come true. Though if you’re plus sized don’t expect to find too many clothes to fit as of rn

I have been to fashionation many times since moving here, I got my first pair of docs and my first pair of demonias here as well as my kiddos first pair of docs! The staff is wonderful and always goes above and beyond for their customers, including myself. Yesterday I ordered 2 new pairs of boots because I was in denver for a show and I was so worried driving from Colorado springs that we would hit rush hour traffic even with allowing myself an extra 30 minutes in the drive and not make it in time before they closed- which happened (my luck)! The staff waited for me to arrive just those few short minutes after closing and while it may have only been a few minutes to them it meant the world to me and time and time again this family has proven that anyone who walks through those doors is also family forever. If you are in denver, or anywhere else in colorado fashionation should be on your destination list not only for the amazing selection of shoes, clothes, and accessories they carry but their top notch customer service and to see a part of the history of the alt scene in denver as they have been a community staple for decades! You guys are awesome and I can't wait to support your growth for many years to come ❤️

What a great store! The owners are super friendly and excited to show new customers around. They have a really great selection of a range of alternative fashion. They carried some classic brands like Tripp, lip service, and jawbreaker and also some brands I’ve never heard of before. And the wall of shoes, I could try on shoes forever! You won't find another store like this in CO. This is the BEST place to go for alternative clothing for you and your kids! Everything is high quality and cute as heck. I love the employees here. They're always so cool and major helpful and make sure to give you the attention you need even when its busy. They take the time to explain how to take care of your shoes and package everything nicely. I never seem to have enough time when I come here. One day I want to spend at least an hour. I LOVE this store! It’s clean, organized, and well managed. The family that runs it is so sweet and it makes me very happy to support this local family owned business. They have an extensive selection of shoes and platform boots (Demonia, Lamoda, Dr Martens, etc) and everything is priced fairly/comparatively. They are my go to for festival/concert clothes and anything alternative. I called the store, and the owner, Paul, was incredibly accommodating and excited to get these boots to my daughter. He walked me through making the purchase on their site. So glad we came into this store. The owners make the experience so pleasant and it's very refreshing and different than the norm in this subculture or even this day and age. I've been to many other stores that sell similar apparel and they have zero interest in the customer, in fact they're hiding from the customers. I loved seeing the posters of all the legendary bands that have come into this store. Their energy is very inviting and you feel like you've known them for years. I'd blow all of my money here if I lived in Denver, for sure.

I am a single father of 3 kids, my oldest “13” has a particular style I am unfamiliar with but support 100%. This will be the second time I have brought her into this store, while I may feel uncomfortable when first entering, the amazing staff and even costumers set my mind at ease. It can be a little much for this man to take in at first, but the smiles on my daughters face makes it all worth while! I came here because I had seen them on tiktok! Super friendly and helpful! I tried on a few things, (mainly shoes as thats what I mostly went there for) and left with two pairs of pastel pink demonias! The business is run (and I believe owned) by a family, and you can tell they love what they do! I truly believe there's a little something in there for everyone, from shoes, to jewelry, to belts, to clothing, there's quite a few options! Also the sizing it pretty accurate and rather inclusive (XS- XXL). I'd love to come back in the future and see what they have next time!

They welcomed us right when we came in, helped us with finding a shirt we needed a bigger size in. i found this place on tiktok right around when i was looking for alternative style clothing and shoes, all the employees are VERY nice, they complimented what you chose out and that was a confidence booster for sure. When trying on platforms they gave you tips on how to care for them, which is great. i live in colorado and i find it great that it’s in the denver area, only a 12-15 minute drive from 16th Street to fashionation. i recommend going there to stop by and look and buy some stuff!!

I just went to this store for the first time today, and I must say I was blown away by all the merch that was currently in stock, so much to chose from, there's quite a big selection for men, too. I was also impressed with the employees there, they really know how to strike up conversations and be open with people. One of the employees (tall girl wearing all black) was very helpful, she went out of her way to recommend lots of stuff for me and asked again if I found everything alright, she also had a very good attitude, and she recommended me all the good hang out spots for goths in the area since I told her and a few other employees there I'm new to Denver. I felt very welcomed, a couple of other employees there also started conversations with me and were very helpful, I believe one of them was Amy (if I remember her name correctly) not to mention the kind of music that's being played in the store, as soon as I walked in, I heard some Type O Negative playing! Keep doing what y'all are doing, I have not been in a store with such great customer service in a while. Very good first impression.Thank you all so much.
