I've had pleasant experiences since going in-person to the Suit Supply store in Chicago on Rush Street. Renzo (Zo) has made it possible with his attention to detail, product knowledge and friendly demeanor. He has a way of showing different pieces that weren't in your consideration set but makes sense with a full look. I always look forward to visiting the store and see the amazing fashions. I'll be back in the Fall for weddings I'm attending.

Service and tailors on site were great. Phenomenal and personable experience While ordering my custom suit. Ordered my custom wedding suit march 2022 with the expectation for in to be delivered by July 2022. Was made multiple promises it would be fulfilled before my wedding date. (my wedding was first week of august) Kept reaching out to the store all June and was not able to get a clear answer when it might arrive. With 4 weeks leading up to my wedding I had to ask for a refund and rush last minute to find a suit. I was provided a refund with understanding and I really wanted to love this place. Multiple friends had referred me to suit supply. I will give it a try in the future but would tread caution if ordering custom items.

I had an appmt with Louie to alter two suits I got from them a while back. She was attentive and friendly. She helped me get a buttonless polo that looks amazing with both suits. (Thanks Louie for making me look good!!!!!!!) The store gets busy (for a good reason!) so be patient!

I can't speak of the long term suit quality (although I have little doubt it will be fantastic), as I just purchased my tux and suit over this past weekend. However, I can comment on my experience at the store and the professionalism of the team at Suitsupply. I had an appointment with Danas to help me through the process. He was prompt, kind, efficient, and very helpful in working through various options with me. Spent more time than we had scheduled and I never felt rushed. I was expecting to need MTM option, but to my surprise Danas found both a suit and tux off the rack that needed very little tailoring. He never pushed for the more expensive MTM option for me when off the rack would do. I fully expected to have the suits shipped when finished. However, when Danas found out I was leaving Chicago for home that afternoon, he was able to rush the alterations. Great service. When I got back to pick up the items and try on , Cameron helped me with suggestions. The pants needed further alterations and he was able to get those rushed and done. While waiting I observed Flora working with a client providing very professional and personal service for the needs of this specific client- totally different style, but no less awesome in her work. A short time later, after final alterations, I'm out the door with my items, perfectly fit, and a coffee to go to head back to Ohio. I have read reviews on line and seen YouTube videos of complaints about team members being pretentious and an uncomfortable air at Suitsupply for customers, but my experience was thoroughly positive. I would not hesitate to suggest Danas, Cameron, or Flora to any personal friend for style consults/suit needs. Make an appointment, enjoy your time, and let Suitsupply create value for you that is over and above the cost of the suit.

I am somewhat new to the Chicago Suitsupply store downtown. I live in Chicago and wasn’t aware it was a store so close. I visited upon meeting Store Manager Braa who represents the Brand exceptionally! I visited the store and was very pleased with Braa’s knowledge, passion, and penchant for fashion detail. I am very particular about my suits and the fit, and even though I did not find the exact fabric I needed (think flannel baby chalk stripe), Braa provided several alternatives and viable options for me. I so appreciate her service with a smile approach and it will definitely be my go to spot going forward! Thank you Braa!

Honestly, one of the best service experiences I've had. I came looking for an emergency suit and I was wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I figured I never felt out of place. They greeted me right away, asked me about my preferences, colors, then showed me several options. They even hemmed my pants right there while I waited on their awesome rooftop. Great suits. Great experience. Great prices. I used suit supply for my wedding suit and suits for my groomsmen. I was conscious of asking my groomsmen to spend money on a suit and all of them were thrilled with what they got. They all still wear them regularly! I went back with one of my groomsmen to get some more suits. We are both in the legal field and needed some for work. We had a great time working with Zo on picking out fabrics. Since we had been there before for my wedding, out measurements were saved and the process was smooth and quick. I got my suit in the mail and it fit perfectly. My wife loved the look too. I love Suitsupply and will continue going there for my custom clothing!

Came in for a last minute wedding tux after our rental tux arrived mangled and battered a week out from our wedding day. Braa helped me and was absolutely wonderful. She helped us pick out the perfect set from the bow tie to the shoes and everything was in stock. Suit Supply can get very busy, but the quality of the suits are great and fit my husband so well. Thanks for making him feel like a million bucks.

Edit 1/26/2022: My guy (the manager) Michael reached out to me after they processed my refund for the debacle I had with my suit. He remunerated me by offering a new suit despite everything and got me fitted. They found the fabric that had run out so I should be receiving that. Good marks on him for customer retention/service after everything. Upping it to three stars contingent on what happens with the reception of the new order. Coming up on month five trying to get my complete custom order from these folks. No word on it. This is too long to be getting a suit from an order. Can’t recommend. EDIT* I had to lower my rating down to just one star. Fabric for the "rebuild" that they suggested for a suit that just needed alterations is apparently out of stock after a month more of waiting and they just cancelled the order. They informed me and offered to give me one more free custom suit, what a joke. I just want a refund, I don't want to have another suit maybe get here some time in 2023 for a job that came and long passed in 2021.

Update: I had an appointment with Samantha today and it was a completely different experience. She was so patient and friendly. She was also super helpful with finding the right suits, blazer, and trousers. If you are visiting the store, I highly recommend booking an appointment with her! Previous review: I went in around 5:40pm today and waited for about one hour. It was understandable as the store was busy and I didn’t have an appointment. However, I worked with a sale’s person for about 5 mins and he went on to help other people and never came back. It was not the experience others in that store were getting based on my observation. During the short time we worked together, he was very impatient as well. In the end, I had to ask someone else for check-out. With the long wait and the negative attitude, I felt rushed and was not provided services of value. That being said, the quality of the shirts and the shopping environment were great. Will go back but will for sure have an appointment with a more friendly sales associate.

Purchased three suits from Suitsupply in the past month. I can literally buy off the rack, 38L, and all fit like a bespoke suit. Only required a hem for the pants, which they did in store in 10 minutes allowing me to walk out in one exchange. Friendly and professional staff, in a great space and location. Quality fabrics, and already getting more compliments on my Suitsupply suits over my Prada or Gucci suits. Excellent quality, fit and affordability.

However a few months later I tried to contact Suitsupply (both via phone and email) to order another item in my measured size. However their phone system didn't allow me to talk to someone and they never responded to my email.

Came in for an appointment on Friday (10/1) in need of a suit for a last minute wedding invite (10/9). Danas seemed to know my size at a glance and broke me out of my comfort zone a little with a mid blue (I'd only ever worn black and grey). The alterations were done on time (10/8), and the associate who helped me when I picked up was very pleasant and helpful, (but I can't remember his name!) MANY compliments through the night, I'll certainly be back.

Set up a fitting appointment with two friends for an upcoming wedding. Renzo was able to estimate our exact jacket sizes just from sight. He was very helpful and kept the process moving smoothly. Staff overall is very helpful, just make sure you set up an appointment before you go in. Demand is very high in 2021 due to a lot of rescheduled formal events, so just go with the appointment route.

This was an excellent experience. I quickly needed a suit and someone referred me to Suit Supply. I was on vacation in Chicago and didn't have decent clothes to wear. I showed up in shorts, tee shirt and hiking boots. I never felt uncomfortable or out of place. They recommended a combination that was outside of my comfort range, but I am so thankful that I trusted them. These folks are experts at what they do and provide tremendous value. I am convinced that this experience somewhere else would easily cost double. I highly recommend SuitSupply for folks with all levels of suit experience. I've lived a few blocks away from this place for years, but had never even noticed this place because it's tucked away! You take an elevator to the top floor. I highly recommend going there if you want a good suit. The prices are reasonable and there is great selection. The customer service is also great. There's even an outdoor area which surprised me and was very nice. Overall an awesome experience -- 5 stars! Still giving 5 stars because it was a great experience, but one note I want to add for room for possible improvement. The only alteration I needed on my suit was to hem my pants to the correct length and they said it would take 8 days. Most other places I've gone they do it in 15 minutes in the store while you're there, by the time you get dressed and check out it's almost ready. I'm not sure why it takes so long, this felt strange to me. There's something nice about walking out with your suit and not having to make two trips, so just one area for improvement!

My Fiancee and I made an appointment and went into the Chicago location Monday afternoon to get suits for our upcoming wedding and had such a great experience. Zo took care of us and really went above and beyond. He took time in the beginning of the appointment to ask us what exactly we were looking for and ideas that we had and then showed us lots of options. The suit that we both ended up getting was even better than either of us imagined. Zo was really great while fitting us to walk us through step by step what he was looking for to make sure the suit fit us correctly. He even offered us multiple ideas on how to outfit the different pieces of the suit and really get the most use out of it. After our fitting he invited us out onto the rooftop patio where we enjoyed a couple glasses of wine to celebrate getting out wedding suits. Both of us left feeling excited about our new suits and extremely pleased with the attention and service Zo gave. Thanks, Zo!

Have not bought a suit in a *very long time*. Brought a friend to help me navigate all that's involved when purchasing a suit. I had no idea what size suit I even needed. The salesperson who helped me (Achal) was fabulous. He asked what I was looking for. After explaining what I was looking for and for what types of occasions, he looked me over, and immediately pulled three suits off the rack. One didn't feel quite right to me. The other two were perfect. He asked which one I liked more. When I told him, he said I was in luck as the price had been marked down some 30-40% ( i forget). I asked the price of the other one he had pulled, and it was way beyond what I wanted to spend. Never once did he pressure me in to the more expensive option. I needed everything (shirt, shoes, tie, belt), and he proceeded to trick me out with all I needed. We then moved to figuring out what to tailor. My friend recognized an issue. Achal took a look, and immediately identified the tailoring that was required (letting out some material around my calves). All tailoring was done within a few days. The suit fit beautifully, and I received many compliments when I wore it. I can't say how this store may differ from others, as I didn't go anywhere else. Suit Supply is what was recommended to me and that's where I went. Couldn't be happier with the service I received and the suit I ended up with. Would not hesitate to go back. Everyone was exceptionally nice and accommodating, even with a customer who next to nothing about buying a nice suit.

This was my first experience shopping for a legit suit that i would wear for general use. I worked with Jim who gave excellent 5-star service. He greeted us upon arrival, got us sized up right away, and actually took the time to explain every detail with regard to our suit’s fit and styling. One of the other staff there even took the time to give his opinion on how to alter my friend’s suit to make it look perfect. We left the store feeling great about our purchase. However, we were a little disappointed the next day when we returned to pick up my suit. There was a different set of salespersons this time, much younger, and they pretty much ignored us from the moment we walked in, probably because we were just wearing t-shirts and jeans. They were suddenly courteous and attentive though when we said i was picking up a suit and my friend had questions about his custom order. Really wanted to give 5 stars but that return visit kinda ruined the overall experience.

After doing some research online I decided to make a trip down to Chicago from southern WI. It's been years since I bought a suit, but I needed something new for upcoming interviews. Service was terrific. I explained I needed something basic, and they never tried to up-sell. In fact, this was a big reason I decided to purchase a shirt. Quality is above price point in my opinion. Retail dept store prices are much higher and not nearly at the same quality. You can get cheaper suits at a lower price on sale, however you are still getting a cheap suit. These suites are half-canvased (not glued) and are beautiful, even in their basic lines. I went in early when they wouldn't be too busy and they were able to quickly make the alterations on site. Wonderful! After scrolling through the reviews, I found the one-star reviews interesting. People were usually upset that they got too little or too much attention. Customer service is a tricky thing. I don't doubt some mistakes were made, but I think most people will find this place is set up to go above and beyond the norm. Personally, I will return and recommend to friends.

Beautiful and stylish suits at an incredible price. Their customer service is also phenomenal. I'm always acknowledged upon entering and offered a beverage if I have to wait for one of their specialists. I've gotten my 2/3 of my last suits from here. Their staff know what's currently fashionable and will even help you pick out matching accessories if you decide to go that route.

Suit Supply is located on the 5th floor of what you might think is an office building. You have to be looking for it in order to find it. It has great atmosphere, great service, and decent suit prices. This was the best suit-shopping experience I've ever had. I recommend Suit Supply to everyone I know, even women! (They don't dress women) I walked in needing a suit and shirt immediately. Ethan came to help me, accurately sized me up by eye, and grabbed 3 great looking suits off the rack. I picked my favorite, tried it on and it fit great! He then grabbed me a shirt that was perfect. They hemmed up the pants to my liking, (slightly long) and I had a ready-to-wear suit in less than 30 minutes!

Amazing prices, Italian fabrics, beautifully made suits, and nice selection. Much more than the same old boring navy and grey suits (though they will sell you one of those too if you must have one). Truly excellent service!! The prices are mid range, and it would be nice to see suits in the >$400 range, especially since they are not made to order. Great selection of fabrics. The place seems to be geared mostly toward the under 40 crowd. I'm pretty sure every sales person I saw was under 30, maybe even under 25, and all were dressed very trendy. The lighting was incredible. I wish every fitting room ever lit their mirrors the way these guys do. It makes such a difference when trying to see details and fit.

What a great experience! Went in to find a suit for my guy and being that he’s tall and slender it had been a bit of a difficult search but the moment we stepped into this store I was put at ease with the amount of selections that they have! The staff here are so knowledgeable and very fashionable. They really set my guy up with a great suit! If you have a chance to work with Jeb please do! He’s the literal and actual best. He was roughly the same measurements as my guy and he literally took a jacket of his own to try on my guy seeing as they were the same measurements! I mean what customer service! The people here bend over backwards for you. I think the clothing is great for the price point, and besides running into some fit issues translating to my American shape, I really couldn’t be happier with my things. There are a few standout salespeople who always seem to be enthusiastic to be there that i hope are recognized. The managers have helped me very well, and Jonathan in custom all come to mind. Being a person with an affinity for black clothes, I would purchase more of the items that would pair to black. Items I see online but not in store. Thanks for the help!

First impressions are everything, and after trying the Las Vegas location in May 2018, it would only be a matter of time before I visited the Chicago location. The experience at Suitsupply once again, goes down remarkably from start to finish. The gentleman who assisted me, Jedric, was an integral part of this experience. After introductions, he allowed me to "choose my own destiny," with where this suit could go! He added his stylistic approach and keen eye as to how this outfit would look and show. It goes without surprise, he's been with the organization for 5 years - and his detail to customer service clearly shows. If you are in the market for a QUALITY suit, go to this store - it will be worth your while. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Took my son here today to get a suit that he could wear to graduation and the many job interviews that I hope would soon follow! Jake was helpful from the minute we stepped out of the elevator. I did not find it annoying at all - his approach was sincere, professional, and not obsequious. He gave us enough space to look around without feeling any pressure to buy. My son walked out with a full outfit he was very happy with (A grey Napoli, white shirt, tie, pocket square, and belt), and feeling he was very well taken care of. I tried a suit on, too, and while I was upfront about most likely not buying one for myself yet, Jake gave me the exact same treatment my son got. Great experience all around. I'll definitely be going back. (I did end up getting two shirts for myself in the end.)

Service is slow but selection is great. The staff was friendly and helpful, and I was able to get exactly what I wanted. But seriously, expect to take twice as long as other places you've bought a suit. I don't know if they are just perpetually understaffed or what. Go with a friend to pass the time more quickly.

For some reason I've always hated shopping for myself. This experience may have changed that. I was helped by Jeb, who was excellent. The entire process was just a conversation between the two of us. He was honest and said when he didn't think something looked good on me, and I appreciate that. We mixed and matched a couple shirts, ties and sweaters and came up with an excellent combination. I will go back to pick up more shirts and maybe pull the trigger on one their vests. They had a couple I was really wanted, just wasn't what I was there for.

I've always been a happy customer at Suitsupply Washington, DC. What Chicago store brings is yet another level. A bit concern of a kindly cup of coffee may ruin my experience here that I denied at first and wished to browse what I need (had overcoat in my mind but intended not to buy here as tax is higher in Chicago), their customer service has earned my appreciation. Even more, Suitsupply offered to ship to my address in VA to lower the price. Now, not saying that Suitsupply Washington is not on par with Chicago (Washington is the reason I stick with Suitsupply), their customer service deserves 5 stars. (I eventually asked for a cup of water!)

I had called an hour before and asked when the earliest I could come was and the person on the phone, Michael, said that I could come the same day. I feel extremely bad for having them work past closing time, but they were all very happy and nice. They even offered me water or coffee. I highly recommend coming in earlier, because everyone really takes their time to make sure you’re happy with the outfit. They’re all very knowledgeable about formal wear, so you’ll be happy with anyone you get.
