Upon my arrival 🤍Emily greeted me with the cutest smile & can do attitude-she helped me try on a few short dresses but none really worked out. But she did guide me to the most gorgeous Fur Cover Up for my elopement the next day! It completed my look for the court house! She showed me hair pieces & veils as well. Most accommodating & helpful. She made me feel like a Bride To Be! Until my visit to David’s 🤍 I was not feeling ready at all. Thank you Emily for being so kind & amazing to me! I had no appointment & you did not judge me at all on anything! Big Love!

I'm getting married in June 2023 and just stopped in to the Charleston WV store to see what they had available. I had heard tons of bad things/experiences about certain stores on Wedding pages and was worried. I was greeted nicely and told I could look around. Then when I found something I liked, they allowed me to try on not only that one dress, but 4 more. The stylist taking care of me was amazing ! She was so nice, made me feel comfortable and helped me pick out different styles to try on. While I realize that is her job, she was awesome. I will be going back for an appointment to try on more and hopefully find the "one". Also something I think is great is that they only carry dresses that cost $2000 or LESS. I love that because so many people fall in love with a dress only to find out it is over their budget. The person who helped me is "Karley" incase anyone else goes to that location. I would request her for sure.

Emma N. honestly made me feel like royalty coming in and trying on dresses! She gave me incredible tips, advice and made me feel so confident in finding the one! She worked diligently for hours with me to make sure i was truly happy with my choice. Lilly was amazing as well and was so patient while helping my daughter find the perfect dress! She was truly a sweetheart. All of the staff is very friendly and professional, and the manager is amazing. He recommended a last minute alteration on my gown when I felt something small was missing, and made sure it was absolutely perfect by the time that I left. Wonderful experience!

I’m getting married in five months on September 17th. My grandmother, my mother, my daughter and I went to David’s Bridal today with the expectation of just trying on a few dresses to get a size and style idea of what I like. Andrea was my assigned stylist and absolutely hit this trip out of the park!! I sat out two dresses I’d found that I like for her to retrieve the correct “range” size and she also brought along two other dresses that she thought I might like based on the two I gave her. I cried. When I seen myself in that dress she chose and she placed a veil on my head, I got so emotional. The dress pictured is a size larger than I needed. She easily ordered my correct size, and is expected to be here in less than a month! I don’t think we were even there for a whole hour. I unexpectedly said yes to the dress today, thanks to her!

I went with my family to find my wedding dress and it was an amazing experience! Lilly was the girl helping me and she was great! She would give unbiased statements about each dress which I did appreciate because families tend to think you look beautiful in everything. She was not pushy at all and you could tell she wasn’t trying to sell you on anything. Paul was the manager there during our time and he was very nice too! All the staff were great and I’m so thankful to have had a pleasant experience.

My daughter had purchased a dress from out of state. We received it in December of 22. We recently had found out that she is pregnant. I had contacted Davids Bridal yesterday concerning alterations being that the wedding is four months away. Even though we did not purchase the dress from them they were so very kind and helpful with this situation. I honestly would give more than five stars for the way we were treated today by the manager and another employee. The store was packed today but we were treated exceptionally and not rushed. I highly recommend if you need an alteration or even a dress to contact them. Excellent customer service 💯

I had a great David’s Bridal experience. I went in the store with my entire bridal party and parents with me and they were super accommodating. I picked out several dresses on my own, but my stylist Jacinta actually picked out the dress I bought! So thankful she was there that day or I wouldn’t have found my perfect dress. 10/10 recommend having Jacinta as a stylist. She was wonderful with my bridesmaids as well

Spent awhile in here today looking for a prom dress and it was very low stress. I loved the environment and how helpful Karly was. Looking around WV has been a little bit of a struggle due to my sizing but at David’s Bridal there was a wide array of choices for me. Instead of having to settle for a dress just because it was in my size I got a dress because I liked it and felt comfortable in it instead of just opting for something because there was no other choice.

Thank you David’s Bridal My daughter wanted a new dress for Night to Shine. From the moment we walked in everyone made my daughter feel welcomed and went on a hunt for the right dress. We found the perfect dress and purchased it that day. We made an appointment that same day with alterations. When we returned for for her fitting once again everyone was so welcoming and we were escorted back to alterations. The gal In alteration’s was very patient. My daughter can sometimes be a little nervous and shy and a little fidgety but our gal was patient and continued to be so helpful. We paid for our alterations and set up another appointment to return A few weeks later our dress was ready and my daughter was so excited for dress day :) When we arrived once again we were greeted with that awesome customer service and taken back to alterations We were greeted with Alli and she was wonderful and patient with my daughter. She even allowed her out in the bigger open area for a chance with a few photos and really got to feel special with all the lights and mirrors. Night to shine is a prom for adults with Disabilities and my daughter wanted a dress for her special night. David Bridal thank you than you for making my daughter feel special thank you for making it hassle free when it came to alterations Thank you everyone for all your help and making my daughter feel so special

I stopped in here after having a less than great experience at a designer boutique, and could not have been more happy! Karley took her time showing me the show room, letting me choose dresses, and even threw in a few great options herself! On top of that, she and the manager graciously worked with another bride at the same time, as there had been a scheduling mix—up. I was impressed at the level of service and the selection of quality gowns. Absolutely would recommend to anyone wanting to feel special about their big day!

They were SO NICE and helpful! I have gained some weight and almost left because I couldn’t find anything that fit well and wasn't feeling very confident. The girls took the extra time to find me something flattering that I LOVE! They were kind and not pushy at all. I had no idea what to expect when shopping for a wedding dress. I had gone to one other place, a boutique in Ceredo, a couple days before and did not have a great experience, I was only allowed to try on 3 dresses (which were not very flattering) and they highly pressured to buy one. Luckily I did not purchase one and a couple days later went to David’s Bridal. I was a bit hesitant from my previous experience but this time it was completely different. Jacinta and Bella helped me pick THE perfect dress! They were very helpful and patient with me even though I am very indecisive, they helped me pick a few dresses and help me narrow down what would suit me best. They let me go back and try on the dresses a few times to allow me to get a good feel on how they would look on me. I was feeling kinda stressed because I was stuck between two completely different style looking dresses and couldn’t decide, and then Jacinta pulled out a dress that was the perfect mix of the two! They even measured me and ordered me a petite size to fit my body even better! I had a great experience here at the Charleston David’s Bridal and could not have asked for better stylists to assist me and help me find the absolute perfect dress for such an important and special day! Jacinta and Bella were fantastic!!! They were very patient, helpful and made me feel comfortable and at ease!

She was so so patient with me and helped me find the perfect size my dress had to be reordered 2 times and she was always there to help me try it on, tell me the pros and cons! This was my first trip into a David's bridal store and I have to say, I'm very impressed! Everyone was super nice and super helpful, especially Karley who was my sales person! Everyone that works here is so amazing. Today was my fitting. I accidentally spilled coffee all over my white sweater as I walked in. They sweetly took my sweater and got the coffee stain out of it while I changed into my wedding gown for the fitting. They went above and beyond to help me today. My experience at David’s Bridal was wonderful! Karley was my consultant and she was so helpful! She treated me like the boss for my appointment. She gave a lot of good suggestions with accessories and other dresses but she never did anything without me giving permission. When I saw dresses on someone else and wanted to try them she would pull them for me to let me try even if it wasn’t the style I told her I wanted, which lead to me picking my dress. I told her that I saw a dress on someone and I wanted to try it even though it was not the design I wanted in the beginning but because I wanted to try it on she pulled it for me and I fell in love! My experience with alterations specifically Barb was absolutely AMAZING. She’s so bold, her personality is fun and bubbly. I love that she is bluntly honest. You don’t mind that in most places. She gave me every amount of confidence while I was in the store. She even helped me pick out the perfect pair of shoes for my wedding dress! I told her multiple times I wish I had her on my wedding day just to keep me grounded! I assume Ally may be her second hand, she was so gracious and gentle with every step of scheduling, and paperwork. She’s a genuine sweetheart! I don’t know what these ladies get paid but I surely know they need a pay raise for everything they have done for me and the way they made me feel!

I came to this location with my sister to hopefully find her wedding dress, and we did. We had the most amazing bridal consultant. Her name was Karley. She was very helpful, friendly, and down to earth. Along with all of the dresses that we picked out for my sister to try on, Karley added a few of her own choices that she thought would be flattering on my sister. Karley is very knowledgeable and in my opinion an asset to this company. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dress of any sort for a wedding event.

She was great at helping me find what I wanted. I also wasn’t planning on getting a veil but she found a veil that matched my dress perfectly & sold me on it. She also told me about the diamond membership and I was able to get a discount off my purchase! Everyone I encountered was friendly from the moment I stepped in the door. The girl at the door who checked me in explained to me that I could look at the racks and then to just hang the dresses I wanted to try on on a separate rack. I loved that I was able to look at racks as opposed to some places rhe consultants go in the back & pick, gives more options to things you might not otherwise think you would like. Will be back with my bridesmaids to get their dresses!

I tried on around 30-40 dresses at 3 unrelated stores before coming to David’s Bridal. I felt ugly in them all no matter how beautiful the fabric was. Nothing seemed right. I was tired and upset, honestly ready to say forget a wedding or a dress let’s just go to a courthouse because I don’t think I’m meant to wear one. When I got to DB I was greeted by a sweet Emily D. She told me how the store worked and what to do when I thought I might like something. She even offered up ideas based on the things she noticed me choosing. By the end of it we probably selected 10 dresses of all varieties. She helped me every step of the way without making me feel rushed or pressured, which I’m so grateful for. I didn’t have any friends or extra family, only my mom, so it was nice to have someone who treated me like a friend and not just a customer. She helped me in every way. Near the end she suggested a blush dress with white overlay. THE ONE. This was the first dress that I didn’t immediately find something wrong with, the first dress that I didn’t immediately find my own flaws in. For the first time, all day long, I felt pretty and happy. She then brought me the most perfect veil l, which brought it all together, and then the tears came. I couldn’t have imagined something so perfect, and I SAID YES TO THE DRESS. I’m so thankful I stopped and even more grateful to have Emily’s help. I probably wouldn’t have found my dress had it not been for her. Thank you!

This was my first time trying on dresses so I expected that this appointment would just help me narrow down my general tastes in what I wanted for my wedding day. Jacinta was my consultant and even though we were early for my appointment, she quickly went to work gathering dresses I had added to my favorites list on the website while we looked around the shop. I tried on a few dresses and narrowed down what silhouette I liked (which surprised me because it wasn't what I thought I wanted). And then I tried on MY dress. I instantly fell in love with it the second I saw it in the mirror. I am somewhat in between sizes and had questions about the fit and alterations before I felt comfortable enough to say yes. She went out of her way to get me any answers I needed, including having the alteration staff come over to look at the fit and we talked about what could be done. We had questions about price and she was quick to look up the information and we found out the dress was on sale as well! That sealed the deal for me. We got my dress on day one and I am so excited to be one step closer in getting everything done for my day! Thank you for making this process such a breeze Jacinta! I bought my dress one year ago, and due to having a baby it no longer fit. I went to David's Bridal to see how they could help. The manager said there was nothing she could do because of alterations being backed up, but she would let me meet with the alterations manager to see if she could give me some ideas on how I could fix my dress. After meeting the alterations manager, she agreed to fix my dress!! I went back yesterday to pick it up, and it ended up being just a tad too big. All alterations were done in a timely manner, and they were wonderful with working around our busy job schedules. Went today to get my bridesmaids' dresses and one of my best friends is our officiant so we got her dress too. We spent maybe an hour there and found everything perfectly. It's very organized, which helps everyone find what they need efficiently. Shelby was our stylist and she was extremely nice but understood that we didn't need someone following us around the whole time. So she respectfully gave us the space we wanted so we could shop and look comfortably. She checked on us often in case we had questions and was great. I showed up 20 minutes early for my 1:30 appointment with my mom and MIL in tow, and it was obviously super busy. Hostess welcomed us and showed us around, and we started looking while we waited. Caroline was my consultant, and somebody needs to give her a raise. I don’t know what she makes, but it ain’t enough!! She had a printout of the dresses I had favorited online, and she pulled from those first in my size. I’m a plus bride- size 24 in street clothes, so I was nervous about getting the right fit and having lots of options... but Caroline came right in, listened to me, picked a bunch of gorgeous stuff, and was super helpful the entire time. I felt totally comfortable putting on dresses and ended up picking something completely different than I thought- the fabulous Caroline chose it for me and also picked a ridiculously perfect veil that is going to look amazing for my October destination wedding in Jamaica. Come to find out, the dress was on sale this weekend, too, so I came in under budget. Tracie, the manager, was also helpful in looking up the production time and what other colors I could order the dress in to be sure I would get it in time. This was an awesome one-and-done shopping experience for me and I can’t wait to wear my dress!!!!
