I don’t like to bash other companies but I had first gone to David’s Bridal months ago and bought “the dress”. I then lost a lot of weight and could no longer use that dress. I decided to try Needlemans and I’m so glad I did! They were absolutely amazing! I felt like I was their main focus during my appointment. They made me feel heard and made me feel like they truly wanted to help my find “the” dress. As we were looking through racks I said I liked a few and thought “ok these three are enough. I don’t want to look like a bridezilla.” But to my surprise she kept pulling dresses and adding them to my try on pile. At David’s Bridal I felt so rushed and the ladies helping seemed like they just would tell me what I wanted to hear. I would recommend Needlemans to any future bride looking for a memorable experience while they hunt for their wedding dress!!!! I’m so happy I went to them!

Mark and the staff were truly helpful finding our 2 daughters their perfect dress. He quickly realized that one was struggling as she’s the sporty type and not one to dress up. He took a moment to find out more about her and what she was struggling with as far as fits and styles of dresses. Needleman's saved my wedding day! I originally rented suits for my groomsmen and I from Men's Wearhouse but when I tried the suit on, it wasn't ever close to correct. My groomsmen were fine but my suit included pants and jacket that were way too short and the wrong color shoes. I was referred to Needleman's from our wedding planner and they did not disappoint. I got in touch with Mark 2 hours before my wedding and he had a suit that fit perfectly. He got me in and out very quickly and I made it back to our venue in plenty of time. I definitely will be recommending Needleman's to everyone I know!

I can’t say enough how much this little store was amazing. My fiancé walked in to try on dresses and we ended up ordered our tuxes because we were impressed. The owner, Mark, was very knowledgeable and made the process easy. He guided us into the right direction for an outdoor wedding in July. He explained to us the difference in material and what would be ideal for the heat. The tuxes they offer are stylish and striking. Our wedding party is all over the USA and they can easily accommodate our wedding party no matter where they reside. Please don’t over look this store - you’ll love their customer service.

Needlemans is a life saver! We recommend them to everyone!! Mens Warehouse lost my husbands suit a week before our wedding, wouldn’t help us out in the slightest and they were so rude. We called Needlemans 3 days before our wedding hoping for a suit miracle and they came through! Their customer service is impeccable; the owner was so kind, understanding and helpful. Mark had gone above and beyond what was expected of him when we had an issue with an external clothing provider. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for Needleman’s. I recommend them to anybody (wedding party, groom, bride included) who is going to a wedding or anyone looking a nice tux or suit in general. I am getting married in September 2022 and needed a suit. I tried another place in Burlington and a horrible experience and was referred here after numerous recommendations. Boy oh boy were they absolutely right. I called and made an appointment and they were able to take me the very same day. When me and my fiancé got there, we were immediately greeted by Mark and Heather. They were engaging, polite, attentive, and eager to help me pick out my wedding suit. Mark helped me pick out two awesome blue suits and even put each of the jackets on to help model them for us so we could see how they looked. I have had to buy many suits in my life and I’ve never seen someone grab something off a mannequin to put it on to better demonstrate the fit and style for a customer. It was honestly so helpful and made a huge difference. Once we we picked the color, Mark then carefully and deliberately helped get my measurements and complete the rest of the ensemble. Heather and her daughter helped us pick out an amazing tie and they had such an incredible amount of selections. They knew exactly what would look good once we told them our preferences and what we were looking for, they found the most amazing tie for me and the groomsmen. They were meticulous, detailed, and always made sure to check in with us to ensure we were getting exactly what we were looking for. They also were just lovely to talk to. They asked about our venue, some information about ourselves, and were just a joy to talk to. My fiancé and I felt like we were at home and this place is the epitome of what it means to be a successful family business. They made us feel special, heard, and unbelievably excited for our special day. I am a larger gentleman and I did not feel judged or degraded as I did from other places. Bodies come in all shapes and sizes and Needleman’s deliberately has a vast selection for any body type. Even a self-conscious shopper like myself feels at ease with their friendly, inclusive, and all-around welcoming environment. They find the perfect fit for you without any judgement. They are the epitome of what it means to be an amazing family business, the kinds that form the backbone of our nation. Just as everyone knows Tom Brady is the GOAT, Needleman’s is the GOAT for all your bridal and formal wear needs.

Needleman's Bridal & Formal has provided excellent service! I made an appointment this past December, tried on a plethora of dresses with the help of one of the staff members Heather (She was super awesome!) and chose my dress that day. I ordered the dress and a head piece that day as well. The original arrival date of my dress to the store was estimated to be April (which is perfect since we are not getting married until October). I received a call this morning that my dress has arrived! Since I live in DE they have been helpful in holding my dress for me until my next trip to VT in May. Thankfully my mom lives close so she can view it for me before then to make sure it looks great! I have been super impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. To add to this review: my plans for having my dress steamed on 10/20 fell through. We were getting married on the 21st. I called Needleman's and was able to drop my dress off that Friday morning and picked it up on Saturday. Since I bought the dress there, steaming was free! Excellent service!

Just bought my wedding dress at this fantastic little boutique! I believe her name was Trina.. was AMAZING. She did everything she could to make my mom and I feel welcome. She was completely understanding that I didn’t have the largest budget, and was patient in helping me find my dream dress! Beyond making me feel comfortable, she made me feel like a bride, and a beautiful one at that! I HIGHLY recommend Needleman’s for all of your special occasion attire needs.

Gorgeous dresses at a reasonable price ($600-2500). Very old fashioned business, I ended up falling in love with a dress here and they had no information on any potential changes that the designer could do, and they hand order everything (no computer). The atmosphere is akin to a Goodwill more than any bridal shop I've been in, but the staff was knowledgeable, especially about alterations. They would greatly benefit from a better website and better lighting, but overall I still bought my dress here because they do have a beautiful selection.

Best experience I could’ve had for my wedding. Mark the owner took very good care of me and my guys. Shared his knowledge and ideas with us and helped find the perfect tuxedo. Mark really cared about how we looked and felt in our tuxedos and wanted to make sure we were happy! Other places I’ve had tuxedos 2x too large or something was always messed up with the order. Not with Mark, he took his time measuring and everything came back form fitting and looked better then I ever could’ve imagined! I’m still in awe with how well my wedding party looked in his tuxedos! He made my wedding experience easy and much more enjoyable. I highly recommend going here for a suite! You pay the same as other places but the quality is 100% better!

So far so good! I needed to get suits for my wedding. My wife and mother in law told the owner what they wanted and it took no more than 5 minutes to be sized and out the door. Very professional, able to cut through the BS and come up with something that made the women happy. I'll update the review after I get my Tux, but the fact I didn't have to wait around trying on cloths for an hour is awesome. If you want to go somewhere that can handle dealing with women in wedding mode quickly so you can get back home to watch the game, drink beer or build birdhouses, this is the place to go.

Absolutely the guy to go to! Went here for my suits for my wedding this year and he was super pleasant to deal with and the suits fit like a gem, though be wary of really tall people as the vests may be smaller than you like. Two of my groomsmen would have had issues with their fits as they were in other states and got fitted at Men's Warehouse. Due to his experience, he knew to go half size one one and 1 size larger for two guys and it barely fit after knowing their height and weight only and never meeting them! One groomsmen actually lost 20 pounds a month prior to the wedding and he expedited another pair of pants 2 waist sizes smaller and fit perfectly. Clean environment here and very professional and not to mention really good at his job! PS. half off suit rental for Groom was a nice deal too!

I just married my very best friend this past weekend, went to men's warehouse, it was a joke, went to other tux rental places, more jokes. Decided I'd try a more local business. Boy I'm happy I did. The owner of needlemans was a pleasure to work with, he was great about communicating with us and he problem solved on the spot. Very polite and professional. Showroom floor is clean and organized. Our tuxes came in on time and most importantly looked great! One of my groomsmen had an issue with his coat and it was solved on the spot, no waiting. My shoes felt a bit tight, I was given bigger, more comfortable ones on the spot. Overall had a lovely, 5 star experience. Thank you Mr. Needleman and your crew. Buy local, use local. Rented tuxedo shoes and bought a bow tie and tuxedo shirt for my wedding. Shoes were decent but the shirt was the wrong one (wrong color and style) and the owner wouldn’t let me return either the shirt or bow tie because they were a “special order” even though the shirt was a standard size and the bow tie was in stock when I got the shoes. Probably should have tried on the shirt when I picked it up to make sure it was right but didn’t expect the poor customer service or lack of care when I came back.

I don't know what these other reviewers are talking about--I had the MOST amazing experience at Needleman's! I went to Needleman's after a VERY unpleasant experience at David's Bridal. I went in without an appointment, and they had a slot open for me anyway! My consultant told us what was on the racks, and told us to pick ANYTHING we wanted! I must have tried on 20 dresses and been there for two hours. I had so much fun, and there was NO pressure to buy! After finding a dress I really liked, my consultant invited us to swing by again the next day, and we could try it on again with some more dresses, too, if we wanted. The next day we went back, and tried on ANOTHER 10-15 dresses. We narrowed it down to my four favorite, and the salon manager even sat with my family as we tried them on in a row to pick my favorite. The experience was so much fun, and SO low pressure. In the end I DID buy my dress there-- Maggie Sottero's Sabelle-- a dress I tried on because my consultant said "It's the heaviest dress in the store. It's 53lbs! You should try it on just to say you did" It wound up being my dress! I would never have found it without my AMAZING consultant (Alisa!) I would definitely say if you're looking for a dress COME HERE!

Being one of the few boutiques in the Burlington area, I had higher expectations. All the dresses are packed tightly in bags and make it difficult to see. (When looking for a certain dress, it felt like I was trying to find a needle in a haystack). Being an interior designer, I noticed the store could use an upgrade. At the end, I asked if I could have style numbers and the consultant ran away saying something weird like the numbers were different for the store or something. The consultant did in fact do a great job and seems to like what she does. It was a mediocre experience.

I tried requesting an appointment online but never heard back, so I showed up without one (my own fault). It was at the height of prom season so they were super busy, but the saleswoman told me i could still look but not try anything on. I thought that was weird and was slightly put off but I went ahead and poked through wedding dresses anyway while I waited for my friend. We were just about to call David's bridal to see if we could try on dresses there when the owner came over and personally apologized and said we could definitely try on dresses but they just didn't have the hands to have someone assist us, which was fine for us. It made us feel a lot better and we were no longer put off at all. We proceeded to look through all the dresses and try things on, and whenever someone had a moment they would pop back in to see how things were going. All in all, it was a good experience!

I recently used Needlemans for tuxedos at my wedding. All of my groomsmen were coming in from out of town, and therefore had to send in sizes of tuxes over the phone. Before submitting the order, Mark (owner) called me to ensure the sizes sounded correct by guessing each groomsmen height and weight. He was spot on with each person. Once the tuxes came in, there was one shirt that he would not allow to leave his store due to an incredibly small spot. He immediately exchanged the shirt. The tuxes fit all of my groomsmen perfectly and we received numerous compliments on the fit and look of the tuxes. The attention to detail and professionalism from Mark and his staff made my experience with them excellent. I recommend Needlemans to anyone who wants to deal with a personal and knowledgeable staff that will leave you looking good on your big day. A huge thanks to the entire staff.

Over the weekend, my fiancé and I feeling slightly overwhelmed when we began talking about and looking at options for suits for himself and his groomsmen. We visited one store, that really left us feeling defeated and unhappy with the only options we thought we had. Yesterday, I remembered that Needleman's has suit rentals so I popped in without an appointment. Mark was between appointments and was extremely welcoming! But not only that, you can see the major difference in quality of many of the options they have available as soon as you walk through the door. He gave me a basic run down of what our options could be, pricing and the process for me to bring home to my fiancé. Today, I called him with short notice to see if we could pop in so that my fiancé could see some options in-person, and he made some time for us to come in. It would be an understatement to just say that we are relieved after going in today! We walked in, Mark focused on my fiancé, what appealed to him and what his/our vision was. He heard our vision and quickly pulled together some thoughts on options for him and his groomsmen. We ended our appointment with having ordered my fiancé's suit, and having selected the suit for our groomsmen and the FOB. The experience was so personalized even with having called for a last minute appointment, and Mark is clearly well-versed in this area. Thank you Mark for sharing your expertise with us and for making today smooth and easy for us both!
