Stopped in so my friend could look for a new black fleece. The simple fleeces were selling for $139.00, which is way too expensive for us. The store was nice and well kept, but too pricey.

This review is mostly on north face the company but also the store. Good quality jackets but poor return policy. I received the wrong size and they require the tags still attached to return an item. I called and was told by a gentleman that I could bring it in and they would take care of me, once I got there the manager I think (older man with white hair) would not do the return and was grilling me about weather I used the jacket or not. Jacket is brand new, took the tags off because I didn’t think it would not fit. I would be very careful ordering online since they can send you the wrong item or a damaged item and then your stuck dealing with them. Also their “lifetime guarantee” is a hit or a miss. Some people get lucky but from what I understood they aren’t as gracious as they use too. Overall, wouldn’t recommend this brand for that reason.

I have been a North Face fan for their coats for years but when I purchased a coat online it wasn't at all what I expected to say the least. The coat was very thin and the hood snaps kept popping off to the point where the hood fell off and I didn't realize it. I decided to return it online when I asked why don't I return it to the North Face store on Newbury st. 🙄 I didn't know there was a North Face store on Newbury st again🙄. So I did an easy exchange got a better coat and the hood zips not snaps very nice totally satisfied. The employees were very nice greeted me at the door, fast and easy exchange. I was asked would I take a survey and the survey took longer than the actual time I initially needed in the store. I am not saying this not to discourage customers this is for North Face please cut down on the survey question I felt like I was flashing back in high school taking a test that's how your survey made me feel there's way too many questions!

Went on line looking for a coat found it . call the store to see if they had it in stock which they ,did I then did request a hold on the women's Arctic parka coat which was there I tried it on it was a little tight snug but they have the next size up tried it on it's fitted fabulously I just bought my coat I'm am happy. Staff over there are quite helpful, North Face's product are pretty decent, you can't go wrong with it. They were able to hold an item for me until I was certain, since it was such a hot item (one day hold).

The merchandise assortment is targeted a little more towards what college kids would wear around campus rather than on the more outdoorsy gear, but given the location you kinda have to expect that. But no worries - the friendly staff is always happy to help you order what you're looking for and have it shipped to the store in a couple days.

This is a nice little store with two floors and has everything that you'll need. I went during black friday so it was pretty busy, but the staff was friendly, energetic, and helpful. I got a hoodie that I really liked at a great price so I was extremely happy.

To be honest, I was expecting a less-than-helpful experience while trying to find a last minute pair of gloves. The staff were helpful and polite -- despite not having the gloves I liked in my size -- and I'd go back here first despite the several other options within a block.

A great store with some decent sales now and then. The outlet store in Freeport Maine is my go to usually but, this location will take care of any warranty problems! ✌️

A nice two-level brick-and-mortar version of North Face at the far end of Newbury Street quite close to Patagonia--for the convenience of outdoorsy types. The only downside is that the store only carries a fraction of what's available at the North Face website. So it's a good place to browse and try on clothing and shoes for your size. But keep in mind that those shoes might be in several other colors at the website. Still, I've found the staff helpful, and this store definitely has more North Face then you would find in your average department store, so it's worth a stop.

Nice store on two levels. Has more jackets than pants. So if you are shopping for a jacket this is a good place to look. I prefer Macy's when shopping for North Face pants.
