What a fun time!! My granddaughter picked out several gowns to try on. Heather was very knowledgeable and pulled many gowns but we just couldn’t find “the One”. Heather brought out a gown that we hadn’t chosen but she thought my granddaughter would like. Heather was absolutely right! The gown was the “One” My granddaughter was so happy she cried! We bought the dress. In fact Heather helped us find two other wedding ensembles for my other granddaughter and her fiancé! What an asset Heather is to your store! We had a wonderful experience because of her!

Melody and Kristina at the Boise David’s Bridal off of Emerald were the absolute BEST! Not only are they both proficient at their jobs, but Kristina was so fun to be around. I am not a fan of dress shopping or trying things on but she made it a whole experience! The kind of experience you dream of as a little girl when you think of getting a wedding dress. She was so kind and supportive about my choices and made me feel beautiful in my own skin. I love how helpful she was, but most importantly how genuine she was. Her conversations were real and I could tell that what I said really mattered to her. 10/10 my best experience with any dress store because of the wonderful help and kindness that was shown to me.

I would like to share my experience. Hannah from alterations was absolutely wonderful. She put me at ease. Also the lady in charge of alterations was very pleasant. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name. The first time I went into David’s bridal I was very disappointed with the gal that made me feel very uncomfortable to even be there. My daughter-in-law convinced me to give them a second chance. I must say Hannah has restored my faith and especially in alterations. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

So this visit was for my daughter. She needed a homecoming dress. We knew this was the place to go from last year. Setting up a time and having someone with knowledge about the dresses was important. So, I think this is my first time writing a google review, but I was absolutely blown away by experience here. Elora (at the one on Emerald St. in Boise) was AMAZING!!! I went in there with basically no idea what I wanted (other than that I was not particularly interesting in traditional wedding dresses) and honestly did not expect to find a dress there. I couldn't even really tell her why I did or didn't like any specific dress. Yet Elora managed to find an absolutely perfect wedding dress for me. The dress was unique and matched my style and personality so well. She was extremely personable and made me feel so special. She's a Rockstar! Seriously!!! I 100% did not expect to find a dress that I LOVED in the first hour of me even beginning to look. I cannot wait to show my soon-to-be husband - I think he's going to love it just as much as I do. One more time, Elora was beyond fantastic! Not only is she a style wizard, but she was incredibly considerate of budget. Thank you SO much!

Heather M was so patient and nice! I didn’t feel rushed or ignored, and they were pretty busy so that meant a lot. I had a lot of fun at my bridesmaid dress fitting because she created a fun and open atmosphere. I had a couple dresses in mind and Heather also added a few styles she thought I may like. This place is amazing to get good deals on homecoming dresses. It was a fun experience the to ladies working Habiba A. And Avery Q. was extremely helpful and made my girls feel amazing and went above and beyond to help my oldest daughter find dress shoes for her feet that would make her feel amazing she wears a size 12 on women's so it's hard to find shoes we finally settled on a beautiful pair of sparkling flats. I came in today, completely defeated with dress shopping as a bride on a budget. Jasmine, Karen, Kaylee and especially Habiba we're nothing short of miracle workers. They all immediately made me feel welcome, didn't pressure me and listened to all of my concerns with budgets and style. It took less than an hour with Habib to find everything I wanted in a dress and I had fun doing it! I highly recommend working with these ladies.

Amazing and attentive staff! My fiancé and I decided to elope in 5 weeks. First stop; David's Bridal with fingers crossed we'd not only find a dress but that it could be ordered in time. Upon our visit, our consultant, Kristen showed me dresses in my style and while I liked them, I wasn't in love. She then brought something I would never have chosen for myself, decided to give it a shot anyway. Bam! Found my dress. And, she was able to get the dress in stock in less than two weeks. After the dress came in, I realized it was still too big. Karen and her assist Moki in alternations were able to exchange the dress for a smaller size and it will arrive for minimal alternations in a couple of weeks. We're cutting down to the wire, but David's Bridal is making this happen on such short notice. Truly an amazing staff who are going above and beyond to make a girl's dreams come true.

A week before the wedding, I was trying on my MOH dress and the bride and I noticed many small but noticeable flaws.. we knew it would not be good for the wedding and I began to panic. The only thing I could think to do was to go directly to the store and see if they would be able to assist us. So, with tears in my eyes, and nerves in the brides stomach we walked into David's Bridal, where Elora stopped everything she was doing to help me. She was so kind, honest and THE MOST helpful. After a few conversations and a unanimous decision to risk it and get a new dress, we rallied together and began the search. This was no easy task, knowing we had to beat the clock and find something I loved that would get here in time, even amidst the holiday weekend. After 3 new dress try-ons, a few tears and the most confident and supportive individual assisting us, we ordered a new dress and left feeling much more content.. albeit, dresslses. Elora assured us we didn't need to stress or worry over the timeline of the dress, because she was certain it would be here before the wedding... and she was correct! 4 days later she called me, and we are ready to get my bestie married. Elora, thank you for going above and beyond and being so supportive and helpful from the moment we started working with you- I am truly so grateful!

I was scared that I would get a very limited selection of dresses that came in my size but I was surprised to find that there wasn't a Plus size section. I had a vision in mind and she helped me find one with all of the details I wanted. I ended up buying a dress secondhand online because that is what worked better with my budget, but this session gave me the confidence to know that the style I thought I would like was indeed the one for me. Heather also handled our group's dynamics and differing opinions with ease, and I so appreciated her guidance and support. Awesome customer service! :) (I have also had good experiences here as a former bridesmaid, and it was so fun to finally be the bride!) Pro tip: If you can, go at a time when the store is less busy (like a Monday morning). This gave me all the time and attention that I needed!

My daughters online order for a prom dress..prom April 9 22. Got messed up order not arriving in time. She was devastated. Went to boise mall no such luck. Prom in less than 24 hrs. Leaving mall saw a little shop called Davids bridal. Late still open tried our luck. Ladys there were amazing. Hooked us up with the perfect black my daughters favorit color LOL dress. Very classy. Saved prom night i was on a hope. Daughter not a dress type at all. The dress made her look so beautiful. A night she'll never forget. Thanks to all u ladys at that little amazing shop for helping us out on a very short notice. I may never see her dress up like this again, unless a wedding HERS well be comming there most deffently. I came in a bit stressed and nervous. I’m not the type to wear dresses nor am I confident about my body. However, Madelyn was amazing. Words can’t describe how well she did. Super easy to talk to, knew the inventory very well, and eased my problems away. When she was helping me, never in my head I was thinking, “man, I’m fat” or “I’ll never find a dress” with her help and kind words. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have found my perfect dress. I was shopping for a Prom dress, and I’ve never been dress shopping before. Me and my Mom showed up essentially clueless and browsed around. Later we were helped by Habiba and she was incredible, going above and beyond. She looked for dresses that she just thought we may like and she was right several times. She was very helpful with finding dresses, sizes, and giving recommendations. We ended up finding a good dress but ordering it in a different colour. The dress is arriving a lot slower than I’d prefer but that’s not the stores fault. I also didn’t find the ideal dress I pictured in my head but this is only my Junior prom so it’s just a practice run. I’ll go all out for Senior year. Nonetheless the store was so pretty and everyone was helpful, we were never at a loss

Update! 6/12: I returned to the store for my alteration appointment and once again had a great experience. Ruth helped me this time and did a fantastic job. I was impressed both with how efficient and skilled she was. The pricing was very reasonable and Ruth was very helpful in explaining what they could do. I would suggest them both and the store as a whole to anyone seeking help finding the perfect gown. ***** Original Review: I had a wonderful experience the two times I went in to David's Bridal Boise on the hunt for my wedding dress. Kelley B was my consultant both times and was very helpful, honest and patient. I bought a dress my first time in with a scheduled appointment, then second-guessed my decision and returned the following day with my fiance and no appointment. Kelley had been about to leave for the day but stayed for hours to help me exchange my original dress and find a new one. When I went alone the first day she helped me take pictures of the dresses I was trying on to send to my mother out-of-state. She was very patient and I appreciated her insight about the type of dress I was looking for when I didn't quite know myself. The second go she graciously helped me while my video-call-bridal-party and fiance looked on and demanded every possible angle. She also arranged for me to speak with the on-site seamstress several times to help me understand the possibilities and potential cost of what I was wanting in my dress. The other women in the store, including the manager and who I believe was the head seamstress, were lovely to work with and very helpful. I came to David's Bridal to get alterations done for a Bridesmaid dress that was purchased here. I made an appointment and was not waiting long prior to be assisted. Cari assisted me with getting the dress pinned to meet all of the necessary changes that I required. I had to have the dress hemmed, the shoulders brought up and a clasp added to the front of the dress. All prices per adjustment were explicitly stated prior to checking out so there were no surprises or questions. I was also given an alterations fitting ticket at checkout that explicitly lays out my sizing details, dress style and lists all the changes to the dress that I asked for and the charge for each adjustment. Throughout the whole process Cari and the rest of the staff made me feel comfortable and were very friendly. Before leaving I was able to schedule my follow-up appointment to pick-up the dress. I feel very confident that when I return to get the dress it will perfect. Side note: a girl came into David's Bridal while I was there with an emergency. Her Bridesmaid's dress didn't fit and the wedding was that afternoon. The staff quickly helped her get another dress and the alterations team was willing to do everything they could to have the dress fit on the time constraint (recognizing that they would not be able to achieve all alterations because of the time constraint). They were so nice and helpful with the situation from what I witnessed.

To start this off, I want o say I had two very different experiences at David’s bridal. I’m strictly Giving 5 stars due to my second visit and for the lady that helped me that day, so I’ll start with that experience. My second visit I was with my stylist HEATHER and she was absolutely amazing!! She listened to everything I was looking for in a wedding dress in regards to style & price! She was happy to help and went above and beyond to find dresses in my budget that would make my day special. She was so easy to work with made it quick and painless and I was so glad I had decided to comeback. Heather was so cheerful and fun and I would 10/10 recommend her for a bridal stylist! My first visit I brought my 3 bridesmaids to get dresses with a scheduled appointment. I didn’t even get to get our stylists name that day because she was so busy helping 2 wedding party’s that I hardly saw her, she told us to find our dresses and that she would be back when she could to get us a room to try them on. We searched and searched not knowing where certain styles where or what different styles would all be able to be matched with the same color. She finally came back and got rooms for my 3 bridesmaids and still was gone most of the time, I was having to hold my bridesmaids dresses back as she was not there to help pin them back until about the last 2-4 dresses they had tried on. I also explained to her that I wanted each of my bridesmaids to be able to pick different styles of dresses but have the same color if that was possible and she indicated it would be just fine. She tried to suggest one of my bridesmaid could only get an apple red and that it would work “just fine” even tho my colors are more maroon/wine. I found an Apple red dress in the store and matched it to the actual color of maroon I was looking for and it didn’t even come close, I asked her to remove it from the order and we would pick a different style of dress that could be better matched with the right color. I Wasn’t super impressed with her service or color choice she suggested when the correct one wasn’t available.

I showed up at 5pm on a Friday, 12/10. I haven't been to anything formal in over 15 years - since before kids. The event was at 7pm. Barbara took me in hand immediately and was so super sweet! After a pretty rough start not once but twice with my assigned stylist, I arrived to alterations with a second brand new dress that was damaged from the factory. The front stylists were rude and did little to help resolve the issue. It was hard because of COVID policy she couldn’t assist me in the dressing room to clip the dress to my size, but she did her best to stay socially distance but size the dress outside of the dressing room. I was rather displeased with my experience at David’s Bridal in Boise, Idaho. I traveled over 100 miles one way to find my perfect dress for my wedding. The girl that helped me try on dresses was polite and friendly however she was helping others in between me trying on a dress so when I came out of the dressing room I had to wait for her. She informed me that all alterations were done in house but FAILED to mention that to schedule an appointment I’d have to wait a month out and that it would cost additional fees. I came back a month after purchasing my dress (which was on clearance and a floor model) to have my alterations appointment. The lady that helped me with my alterations was polite and friendly however kind of pushy in her recommendation of trying to get me to hem my dress which would cost me additional money. I was not expecting to have to pay for alterations as I was told it was done in house but NO ONE mentioned that it is an additional fee! I guess it’s my bad that I didn’t ask if alterations were included in the purchase of a dress from this establishment however I feel that they should of told me at the time I purchased (other dress shops I looked at included alterations). To top it off alterations takes an additional 2-3 weeks to complete (I was only having minor things done as my dress was almost a perfect fit) but for an additional fee they could have it ready a week earlier by express alterations. I literally get to pick my dress up 2 days before my wedding and once again I have to travel 200 miles round trip to pick it up since I was told I couldn’t have a family member get it for me. They also don’t provide any type of cleaning that once again they FAILED to mention, so now I can’t have it cleaned before my wedding. My overall experience of trying on dresses was decent, and part of my bridal party was allowed to attend with me and the staff friendly however they should inform customers additional costs are required if any alterations are needed.

I had made an appointment later in the afternoon as it was quite the drive to get there. They were appointment only due to the COVID19 scare and required everyone to wear masks and do their best with social distancing. The store was clean and they were working hard to maintain it. I'm not the greatest person with trying on any clothes as my self-esteem is pretty low but I really had a great time with Maddy helping me find a wedding dress. We started with a couple dresses I had marked on their website that they had in store and when I wasn't enthusiastic over it Maddy was great in helping me pick through the dresses on the racks and find some alternatives. Maddy had great customer service and was very informative about what they can do in alterations to improve the fit of the dress and helped take pictures of each dress so I can send them to my mom who lives out of state but wanted to be part of the process. What started as a 'let's get this over with' errand became a fun and exciting experience thanks to Maddy and the other staff that were there. I really appreciated the atmosphere they created. They didn't rush me through it even though I left right on closing time after purchasing a dress I ended up loving! And it has pockets! Thank you so much for the assistance and I recommend this store and Maddy for any woman looking for a bridal dress and a good time!

I would say that they may need to work on how attentive they are to the bride's trying on dresses. We almost walked out of the store with just the dress but because of the lady in alterations we came back in and got everything we needed like a veil and a belt as well as getting the dress altered to fit my style better.

I went in without an appointment and they helped me look for dresses, including clearance dresses right away. Within 20 minutes I had an appointment! We picked out some dresses to try on and I found my dress. It was on clearance and fit perfectly! I am a little overweight and an older bride (in my mid sixties) so I thought finding the right dress would be a nightmare! The dress just needed to be hemmed and some tulle removed, which they did right there. It will be ready in time for my wedding which is in one month! I am extremely happy with the dress and the help I received from the bridal sales consultant lady and the alteration lady. Thank you so much. I went in today to try on my dress and pick it up. I went shopping for my dress sometime mid-2019 and then went back again for my final decision in January 2020. I had the same worker both times (Alex). She was absolutely amazing and helped me feel so comfortable through the entire process both times (I went by myself the first time). I was feeling self conscious prior to my appointment (being a little older than the typical bride and being more cushiony than the average gal); however, she was able to reassure me several times I would look beautiful. I was very excited to find out she was going to be helping me at the second appointment and because of this, I felt even more comfortable and relaxed. Alex was very patient and never seemed annoyed or bothered by running around gathering different dresses or sizes for me to try on. She really listened and understood what I was looking for in a dress. I really appreciate all the help, encouragement and advice she provided me!

I purchased two wedding gowns here, one for each of my daughters. We discovered after we purchased these dresses at David's Bridal, that all other wedding gown shops in town allow you to try on multiple dresses as well as let you bring more than two people with you and David's limited us to only 5 dresses to try on and only 2 people in attendance with us. I feel my daughters didn't get the real experience of being able to pick out a dress they really loved. The staff never called to tell us their wedding dresses were in. Would definitely recommend trying out other wedding shops before going here. The only thing that was nice is their prices were affordable.

My stylist was very personable but my shopping experience didn’t feel individualized whatsoever and there was no help thinking outside the box in terms of styles or other options available. Since my appointment was an hour long, we were told that I could try on 5 dresses except I tried those in about 25 minutes and still wasn’t given the option to try more dresses. I suppose this is fine since the dress selection wasn’t great.

My appointment started a little rough. The first woman to help me kinda left me for a quick sale and presented no help at all. It was rather frustrating as I am currently pregnant, and already in a bind with trying to find a bridesmaid dress that will work for me at 35 weeks pregnant. She didn't offer any real solutions, help, advice for alterations or anything. Then came Cinthia. Cinthia was absolutely incredible in her help. Not only did she not leave my side and was there to help me zip up every dress, she also offered solid advice on sizing and alterations for each dress. She listened to what I liked and didn't and overall prevented me from crying with her wonderful help. She was kind and patient and honestly just the absolute best. Her wonderful customer service didn't end until I walked out the door. When she had to step away to help another customer at check out, she offered to get me a chair to sit down and wait. I then had mentioned that I already had purchased a dress last year before the wedding was rescheduled and she helped me exchange that dress for the current one that I am purchasing! It was incredible help and the exchange of the other dress was not something that I thought was even posisble and just thought I was out the money and would try and resale it. Thank you Cinthia for making this experince of finding a bridesmaid dress possible for me while being pregnant and uncomfortable. THANK YOU!

I decided to start planning my wedding right before Covid hit. We paused for a few months and in March when things started to open I went in to try on dresses for the first time. I planned my wedding from out of state so I didn't have any friends with me to join and I had to wear a mask so I was afraid I wouldn't enjoy myself or even find the right dress. I was direct with the lady that helped me and told her exactly what i liked and didn't like and with just a matter of 3 tries I found the dress! I even got to video my sisters and the lady helped take pictures for me to share with them. It was better than I could have asked for with the restrictions in place and amazing for me also because I'm a bigger girl and I was afraid I wouldn't find something to flatter my large size. I felt like a princes, the alterations done later were perfect and so friendly! There is a reason this brand is widely known...I recommend this location!

Today was my first sitting and my seamstress was clearly a master in her craft and gave us very clear expectations from the beginning, and I personally love it when people just tell you like it is from the start. I had gotten my wedding dress here 3 years ago and the staff was so kind and helpful. Last week I had to go to David’s Bridal again this time for my brothers wedding to get a bridesmaid dress. I’m 7 months pregnant, and have been struggling to find a dress that will fit me when I’ll be 8 months pregnant by the time of the wedding. Kristen Tatilian helped me pick out a style that looks good on me now, and will give enough room to grow into with a little over a month to go. She helped me find styles I could get quickly, due to covid the wedding was last minute. She helped make the process for getting a bridesmaids dress fast, and helped me feel good about myself in the process (which is hard while being 7 months pregnant lol). UPDATE 8/8/2020 Today I went in for my fitting, to make my dress dreams come true. Being in a pandemic sure makes the experience different than ever before. But despite this case, Cari @ the Boise, Idaho location's alterations department was amazing. Such a sweet lady, who went above & beyond for me. Despite the current situation. We decided I needed a dress & bra exchange as both were not the correct size for me. As well as set up a new alterations appointment to be fitted for the new smaller size dress. You won't be disappointed. 02/07/2020 I had the best experience here at David's Bridal. From the moment I walked in, till the moment I rang the bell. I walked in with 11 dresses on a list from favorite to last favorite to be prepared for my day. My consultant was Maddy who was amazing. She was so sweet & made me feel relaxed. She even helped pair a belt with my dress. I ended up trying 3 dresses on & the 3rd one was it. It made me emotional so I knew it was the one. So I took the bell & said yes to the dress. My sister and I went to Davids Bridal for wedding and bridesmaid dresses in June. Heather helped us during our visit and was so helpful, friendly and patient with us. She even had another employee pose with a dress (on the hanger) because she was the same height and coloring as my other bridesmaid who wasn't with us. We found and ordered both dresses. A few days later, I changed my mind on the color of the bridesmaid dress. I called the store and they were very helpful and updated the order. This morning, I realized that we had ordered the wrong sleeve length in the bridesmaid dress and Nichole helped me over the phone. She got it taken care of without any hassle! Such a wonderful experience, all around!

We arrived and were told our gal would come and get us soon, which we understood because we were a few minutes early. They told us to look and not touch, which again we understood, it came across as rude. Then as our gal met me, she told me she was double booked and couldn’t accommodate me as urgently. I was upset but once again, I was trying to stay positive because I was shopping for my wedding dress. As the appointment continued she pulled a few dresses for me. None of which were my style, as I was trying to find my style. She was never really attentive towards me, mainly the other gal. This left me either in the dressing room unable to get clipped or out in the eye of the public in a dress I wasn’t feeling. So my best friend had to help me with EVERY dress I tried on. It took away from her experience and I didn’t feel as it was professional. I never had any dresses that were my style, because the gal never asked me what I did and didn’t like from the dresses I had tried on. I ended up cutting my appointment short and explained that I couldn’t find anything that I liked. She asked if I wanted to save anything. I told her I didn’t really like anything but I could save two of them. She took my email and we left, disappointed. I was very bummed at the service I received and none of their dresses fit my style. I’m sure there was some in the store, but I never saw them. I suggest asking if you’re in a double booked appointment before you commit. UPDATE: 11/23/19 I had the opportunity to work with Kate and Wendy this time around. They really took the time to pull dresses and figure out what I like. It took a while because I was unsure what I wanted. We came to the last dress and I really liked it. They gave me the order information and options so I can think on everything. I left there knowing that I had seen all options in the store. They pulled dresses according to my wedding destination. I had a great experience the second go around. Thank you to Kate and Wendy.
