Great selection of boots and clothing. Don't give amazon your money. This store is wonderful. Prices are good too. It is nice to be able to try on things before you buy them.

Very Nice Store and pretty well stocked. They need to do some training with their staff on customer service, I shouldn't have to ask to look at a piece of jewelry that's in a dislpay case. Now, if they are busy, I get it, but when there are 2 of the staff standing within 25-30 feet away standing around and talking to each other, they need to try assisting their clients. Either way, I was able to get what I wanted, and they were actually very nice. I just need some training.

Amazing customer service. We asked one of the employees about a cowboy hat for my fiancé and even though the employee (Davo) didn’t think the size was available, he took the time to look in the back and found one. He found us as we were shopping and had said he had been thinking there had to be the size we needed. He definitely went out of his way: We’re planning for our wedding trip so we spent a long time in the store. We were approached by other employees but it was never pushy, great customer service and very friendly. We found everything we were looking for and more!

If you are looking for western wear and accessories, this is the place. Jeans. Boots. Hats. Belts. Jewelry. Men, women and kids. I encountered helpful employees. The store is roomy with large dressing rooms and conveniently placed mirrors. All top quality brands. Stetson, Ariat, Wrangler. I made my first visit today and will certainly be back!

I’m not a western wear guy at all, but I love this store. The layout of the store is great, and you can find things easily. Super-nice salespeople and I even got a coupon for a free pair of jeans!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought a pair of comfy leather causal shoes that have become my absolute most favorite shoes ever and I had to get my brother a pair just like them to ship to him. The place is conveniently located by the new Publix and right on Highway 280. I’ll go back to get some boots one day soon.

I’m giving them 5 stars. I’d give more but I can’t. Everyone in the store is so helpful and accommodating. I’m not from the Hoover area and live 2 1/2 hours away. I bought boots from them that needed to be stretched. They said they would stretch them and ship them to me. They did this for free! My boots are currently on their way and received an email stating so and will receive another email with a tracking number. By far the best customer service I’ve ever experienced!

Pricey, yes (if it were not for the price aspect, it would be a 5 star rating). But customer service was excellent! Greg helped me find a pair of boots. He was very knowledgeable and super helpful in helping me narrow down the options to find what I needed. I left the store feeling very excited about my purchase and experience in the store.

My husband needed a pair of work boots for work and we came here to Cavender's on Highway 280. The employees were so friendly! They greet you like they knew us and welcomed us in. They are very helpful and made sure that we got what we came for. We would recommend anyone who's looking for work clothes, boots and etc, to come on to Cavender's and enjoy shopping there, we did! 😊🥰 Keep doing what you do Cavender's associates!

After living in Texas for a few years and visiting there regularly for 20+ years, I expect friendly, courteous and professional service when I visit Cavender's. My wife and I were greeted at different times by a young man employed there as well as an older gentleman who had been fitting hats, also an employee. The female employees working at this location, however, were not outgoing and friendly the way to which Cavender's Western Wear customers are accustomed in other locations. This is not the first negative experience we have had with female employees of this particular location.

Awesome!!!! Although prices were a bit steep didn't matter. When you have a budget to go by you can still find a great pair of work boots,cowboy boots, & even some leisure footwear here. Let's not even get started on the great selection of clothing Wrangler,Carhartt,etc. If your an avid rodeo goer, hard working american you'll love this store Now I have two western stores to shop with. Thanks Cavender for excellent customer service as well.

Had a favorite store already but had to change it. Lots of mens western clothing, boots and hats. Patient and helpful finding my wife's new boots. I have to deduct a point as my wife wasn't crazy about the women's selection but Cavenders is still my new favorite!

Loved the selection and the service. Cute little cowgirl took care of us. Said she was from Pelham but sounded like Texas to me. Hat and boot selection was awesome. Lots and lots of clothes for both men and women. Work boots and clothes we also well represented.

Clean store, more limited selection of boots than you would think from looking at the place. About 12 pairs of 11 EE all square toe. Gave it a shot, but I'll keep going to Stampede for in person and Amazon for harder to find items.

I got really great help from a staff member but unfortunately there's no waterproof steel toe work boots that are solely made for work. Seems odd for a western store.

Cavenders Western Outfitters has western wear, boots, belts, shirts, jackets, vests, slippers, baby clothes. This place had the best western wear I've seen in Birmingham. There are fitting rooms for both and women. Plenty of seating to try on boots. Lots and lots of options!

You can't handle the truth!

Fair prices, nice selection (even in EE), employee was helpful and store was very clean. They also give a military discount (10%), really appreciate that!
