My sorority had private event at Fit for a Queen for our debutantes. The owner Aisha and her staff give personal touch to all customers. The girls are so helpful and nice, and they are always chiming in on what looks good and what they think will look good on you. The staff there know the store and inventory like the back of their hand and of course have a ton of experience in the biz, whatever you need or like, THEY WILL FIND IT. The dresses are in a variety of price levels so you know you will find something there. Dress selection was awesome. Very large selections of dresses, largest selection of special order dresses that I've seen so far. This store's aesthetic is so palpable, and so cohesive, it's almost a tangible thing. Everything was unique, pretty, feminine and best of all, affordable. Dressing rooms are big and roomy, the debutantes felt like princess in there 😊 They even had snacks for us while we shopped. The store itself is nice, clean, and organized, and it has a great vibe. It's just a fun experience to shop here.

Visited on a quiet Saturday looking for an after party dress for my July wedding. The ladies in the store were warm and welcoming. We were informed we could choose 4 dresses at a time to try on. Inventory was very low, surprisingly, and I only found 4 dresses that interested me. One was in terrible condition and would have to be purchased off the rack at a discount according to the attendant since it was an older sample and no longer available to order. I wasn’t interested in purchasing as the dress did not fit but did want to mention that with the condition of the dress, it should not be on the rack or for sale. It was literally falling apart. My sister helped me into the dresses and switched them out after I tried them on, neither of the attendants helped in that regard. I was ultimately disappointed in the lack of inventory and options. The dresses were more of a variety for prom and pageantry.

My daughter and I had a Queen Elizabeth experience! The customer service was superb from the time we entered the door. All of the hosts were friendly, especially Brionna and Ranessa. My daughter was very indecisive because of all the fabulous options, but they stayed open an extra hour until she was happy with the perfect dress and we rang the bell!

My daughter is rather "thin" and shopping for her shape and size (5'9" size 2-4) can sometimes be challenging. I was very impressed with not only the high level of service here, but also with the variety of selection. This location had several one of a kind pieces in her size. The shopping assistants there are very professional and accommodating. Although it was prom season and they were busy with many customers, they made it feel us like we were having a personal shopping experience. I highly recommend (Dress posted in the pictures - long, fitted, goldenrod, mermaid-ish dress.

My daughter and I stopped in, on our way out of Atlanta, heading back to Florida and figured we'd take a look at their prom dress selection. It's a hidden gem! Very classy and sophisticated gowns and dresses for every shape, style and size. We googled prom dress shops in the area and this was our 1st and only stop. Staff were extremely personable and patient. My daughter tried on multiple dresses and we didn't feel rushed at all and the two ladies that helped were very accommodating. Definitely a great place to shop for prom!!

Fit for a Queen is an awesome store! My sister in law needed a reception dress and she was crunched for time (literally needed a dress in like 2 days). The dress she fell in love with didn’t seem to be available in store or at their wear house. It was a weekend and we weren’t sure if it’ll come in on time. Talk about customer service! Ranessa went out of her way to contact the wearhouse owner personally (on his day off) and have the dress custom made and shipped within 48 hours. The dress came in on time and my sister was completely happy! I couldn’t thank Ranessa enough! We’ll definitely be back!

Fit for a Queen is a fabulous store, but what really impressed me was Ms Ann, seamstress extraordinaire!!! The alterations Ms Ann suggested, and then altered, absolutely transformed my daughter's dress. My daughter could not have been happier!! Ms Ann suggested things that I didn't even think would be possible and delivered. I'm sure there is nothing she can't do to alter your gown to perfection.

Last year during prom season I had such a difficult time finding a dress that was flattering on my body type. I found maybe 2 dresses that look nice on me. At Fit for a Queen I found so many dresses that made me look amazing it was a wonderful experience. Wish I had shopped there last year!

This store is a gem in Altanta! The store itself is so cute and inviting and so is the entire staff. The inventory is what sets the store apart from other stores because they carry designers and dresses that I have not seen in Atlanta. They have a lot of couture and fashion forward pieces that are so unique and reasonably priced. Overall, it was a really good shopping experience, down to the inventory and customer service. My three adult daughters, our two older grandchildren (ages 8 and 9), and I came to Atlanta to find gowns for my husband's and my 40th wedding anniversary celebration in January 2019. Because that's the "ruby" anniversary, we needed all the gowns to be in red. We had an appointment but were delayed due to air traffic and descended upon this store nearly at closing time on a rainy Friday night. We were greeted by Ranessa who was the most professional, fun, knowledgeable young woman ever! Our ages are 64, 45, 37 and 30, one of us is expecting (not me) and our body styles are all across the board. It's not an easy task to come up with red dresses for this diverse group, but Ranessa did. She brought out gowns we'd never have considered, cajoled us into trying them on, and was dead-on right almost every time. Ranessa is an absolute jewel. This shop is small but lovely, a true boutique, with a wide variety of gowns and accessories. It's located in a charming, trendy location (there's a wine shop two doors down which we also visited), and we were able to park on the street close by. We heartily recommend Fit For A Queen, and especially Ranessa.

I shopped Fit for a Queen for my second look (Reception gown) for my July wedding. The 2 ladies there were pretty helpful and polite during my visits. The gown I found was perfect! However, the 3-star rating comes from my experience with having a custom cape piece made for the gown. This was my first time having anything custom made so I was extremely nervous about paying for something up front, sight unseen...but okay. I expressed my anxiety and asked if I needed to leave the gown for the seamstress but was advised she could work from the pictures. I ordered and paid for the custom piece on 5/31 and was advised that it would take approx 3 weeks and that pics could be sent along the way. After 3 weeks and no pics, I went in store to check on the progress and was told the ETA for completion would be July 3 (my wedding was on the 7th); talk about anxious. It was indeed ready on the 3rd but I received no call, I again took the initiative to stop by to check. Upon arrival, the cape had different gem work than requested. I expressed concerned about it matching the gown (which I had already paid for and picked up) but was assured it would work out. The explanation was that those were the closest the seamstress could get to what I requested (but I was never notified or offered an opportunity for approval). I had a bridal fitting that afternoon and to my dismay, the different stones didn't really go with the gown. But b/c I had already taken my gown out of store and it was 4 days before the event, I was told there was nothing they could do. I get it...strict no refund policy...okay. But my request for follow-up from the owner went unreturned. I had to make the gown and cape work regardless bc my husband had a whole second look as well based off of mine; everything would have been thrown off. Beautiful gowns but very disappointed with the lack of communication and concern from the owner for what could've potentially ruined my special day had I let it. I respect your policy and the work put into customization but at the end of the day the customer service piece could use improvement. Edited 8/9/18: In response to the owner, I'm not sure where the confusion is but to clarify, I DID address my concerns to the associate manager on duty when I picked up the cape on the 3rd about the stones not matching...before I carried it out. Her response was "I'm sure it'll be fine". I really had no choice b/c I had to have the gown altered so there was no other way for me to try the pieces on together unless I took the cape out also as the gown was at the alterations shop. I did go back to express additional concerns as soon as I could and that's when I was told I had already taken the cape out of store. In the beginning I made it clear that this was my first time customizing anything so I did not know the process. I would have never taken the dress or cape out of the store had I known this would be the issue and I did ASK before I picked [the dress] up as my original post indicated. But I also wouldn't have been able to get the needed alterations so I was between a rock and a hard place. Perhaps if the cape had been ready when initially promised there would've been more time to make any adjustments. Lesson learned. I understand the owner not being available on the holiday but after addressing with management and there was nothing they could do, I was advised I could try speaking with the owner which is why I requested the follow-up. Yet, I heard nothing until a month later in response to this post. Nevertheless, I appreciate the response and well wishes.
