This hammricks location has a lot of merchandise available. Although, if I'm being honest, some of the employees' attitudes on the day we visited or less then good. Some of the employees seem to have really bad attitudes toward other employees and somewhat toward customers. While waiting in a fairly long line to get to the register, one of the employees stormed toward the back screaming profanity laced insults at another employee right in front of all of us customers! But, overall our visit was okay, and we found what we were looking for.

This is one of my favorite places to shop (and waste some time). I love their deals on shoes and blouses. My last stop, I got a pair of Avia shoes for under $20! It's a little bit of digging around, but the clearance deals are normally the best! They also have seasonal decor, in home needs such as blankets to cookware, large amounts of As Seen on TV products, Tervis brand cups, and a lot of accessories. This is definitely the place to come when you don't know what you're looking for, but you want to shop! 😂

I love this store price wise for simple things for gifts or various collection of tops, blouses. Decor for hollidays. Have bought a few pairs of every day shoes in past but stopped tuesday,5/17/22. Can't believe it, found only one pair of casual loose pants which were to pricy at Tangers Outlet in North Myrtle Beach $65-75 compared to $25 at Hamricks.

Got so many good deals I couldn't help myself. I got a $75 pair of Liz Claiborne jeans for $10....yes $10. I also got 2 big fleece blankets for $11 each and a $25 swimsuit cover for $8 and 2 double wall insulated cups for $5 each and a $50 pair of light weight short sleeve pajamas/lounge wear for $12. You gotta go check it out.

Great place to go look for certain items. They have great deals on clothing if you can find your size. I like to go there and buy Flags, they have a wonderful selection of outdoors decorations. You never know what you're going to find there, which makes it fun to go shopping. Their selection is wide and unique and their prices are very reasonable.

Today I had to take back something. The cashier Yolanda asked me did I have the credit card to put the refund back on. I explained to her that it was my husbands card and I didn’t have it. She said she couldn’t do anything for me. I asked her could the store do a in store credit or could I call my husband and get his card number. She said they would need the credit card and they did not do store credits. I told her just to give it back to me and I would come back since I lived 40 mins away from the store. She informed me not to get upset that it is common since and I should have known to bring the card. Yes At this point I was very upset. Then she turned around and told the lady at the desk what my situation was and the young lady handed her a card to do an in store credit. I think that Yolanda needs training on customer service and not make comments like that to anyone. She would like it if I had said that she didn’t have common since. I do like some items in the store but not her service. Charlie

Lots of clothes from mediocre quality to good quality with decent prices. Sales are always ongoing and very cheap. Big selection of shoes. Love their seasonal home decor. Household items are well represented as well. Lines to the registers are always a long wait. I have never seen more than three registers open there.

They have a huge variety of clothes. But they are for older women. I wanted a dress with a sweater and could not find one. I f I had been looking for pants and tops, I would have been in Heaven! There were pants and tops of all colors and styles. Their lingerie Dept is huge and has a very pretty selection. Also they have shoes and jewelry. Also neat stuff like small fans, etc. Be sure to have time when you go.

I Really Like Great Ross or TJ max type store selection for days!! Main thing is they have bigger sizes which I need! I took my mom wife and sister for Mother’s Day and got them all new stuff. I had good luck weeks before so we came back. Slightly more mature and classic styles some trend but really something for everyone!!

Love having Hamricks nearby. I find some really good prices and they have a great selection. However, My last trip the ladies restroom was very dirty. They also need to replace the toilet seats as most are broken or need to be tightened. I was there on Senior day and they only had two cashiers. IF I had not needed the outfit I was purchasing, I would have just left. (This store has really gone downhill compared to the ones in South Carolina which is a much longer drive for me.). It is sad to see.

I have always enjoyed shopping at Hamrick's, their prices are good, and they have such a good variety of products. I'm a senior so I like to shop Hamrick's on Tuesday when you can get a 10% senior discount on many products. I wanted to pick up a couple of battery operated lanterns, in case of power outages. I have kerosene lanterns, but I don't like the fumes that they emit, same with candles, plus they're a fire hazard. I was able to find 2 adorable lanterns for only $5.00 each. My husband tried them out when we got home, he was concerned that because of their smallish size they wouldn't be bright enough. We were very surprised at the amount of light they gave, it was perfect. They're so stinkin cute we decided to pick up a couple more, even though we really only need two, why not for just $5.00 each. I may even pick up a couple for each of our adult, married son's. We can use them outside on spring, summer, and autumn evenings. They have a handle so they can easily be carried from room to room or hung without fear of fire or a child touching them. I also purchase clothing, shoes, and numerous other items from Hamrick's, I'm so glad we have one close by.

Found what I wanted fairly easily. Prices were good, and great sale prices! Store is busy and filled with all sorts of things to shop for. I'd come here for gift shopping. Some confusion about where to check out, then who was open for us to go to. Cashier Deborah was lovely and then we we're on our way.

If you're old and/or fat this place is for you, they have everything between random gadgets from infomercials, to nic-nacs to clothing. I personally come here for there Big and Tall section (6'4" 350lbs) and it's the only place I can go in and buy 5 pairs of pants for under $60, if I went to a big and tall specific store I'd be looking at that much per pair. For the value you cannot beat this place.

I'm very upset with what I believe to be dishonest "sale" practices at Hamricks. I'd love to get a response from the corporate offices. I know they up-price clothing, before a sale. The quality does not warrant a thin, low quality sweater being originally marked $40-$60 dollars. But since the sale price becomes $15-$20, that seems fair, only a little dishonesty to convince the buyer that it's a great deal. However, I was in the store at River Ridge today and what I saw was very deceptive. I saw a display of Burt's Bees products at 50% off. Nice, right? But when I noted that virtually ALL the products were marked at $17.98 originally, no way. I am a regular Burt's Bees customer. I know that the lipsticks and lip glosses sell for around $5-$7 max. I just googled the lip gloss and found the highest price online (Ulta) at $8. This is really bad! I talked with 2 other shoppers, and they noted this issue store wide also. So Hamrick's be on notice that consumers are not as gullible as you seem to think. I'd like a response , reconsideration and correction to this practice. Thank you, Sarah D

Hamrick's is listed here as a women's clothing store but it is so much more. It's clothing and accessories for the whole family plus they have a home section with a lot of As Seen on TV items at better prices than TV. They also sell costume jewelry and specialty foods. Hamrick's is a place you have to visit.
