I was shopping for my wife who is hospitalized and I knew I could benefit from professional help and if by magic a lovely, knowledgeable and very friendly young lady walked up and asked me if she could help......LOL 😀 Heck Yes! With my wife on the telephone Taylor displayed all the clothing requirements we had, (shoe shopping by telephone is not for the feint or heart), so I was taken to the precise location in the store for every item which Tsylor then held out multiple colours of every item in my wife's size. Everything was photographed and texted to my wife. Realizing I was on a limited income Taylor maximized fulfilling our needs from the Clearance Dept where items are as much as 70% off. Bottom line my wife was given the opportunity and time to see every item, change her mind, and make sure what I was buying was precisely what she needed. At the checkout the manager gave us a very much welcomed additional discount and made sure I was aware that if any item didn't work for my wife I could return it without any issues. Duluth Trading Company offers some of the finest clothing available at a price point that offers exceptional value. As I type this I an wearing two pieces of Duluth Trading Company clothing that I purchased at least three decades ago. We take proper care of our clothing and consequently I can say my wife and I still have and regularly wear every item and we have Never Ever Worn Out a single item we have purchased from Duluth Trading Company in over three decades. The cashier was so friendly. She knew I was from Hawaii. Her daughter was heading to the islands. I loved the clothing there. One of the associates was so nice. I was looking for tank tops. This store is well known for their tank tops it don't roll up. She told me they had some tank tops on clearance and bought me and my daughter tank tops. I'm so heading back to buy me more clothes for me and my family back home. I'm heading back to Anchorage June. 6-July. 11, 2023. Excellent customer service. Much Aloha & Mahalo Thank you

I like their selection of clothes and underwears. It's a bit on the pricey side. Seems like they have lots of good sales. The staff was warm and friendly. One thing I thought was unique is the lounge they had in the back of the store where you could sit and have a free coffee while I'm waiting for my wife to finish up.

The store is always clean. Employees in my experience are both friendly and helpful. The dressing rooms are decent size, good for someone with disabilities. Store is easy to navigate. If you order something online you can return it to the store with ease.

Exactly what you would expect from seeing the catalog. The cartoons are what makes the experience soo much better. Not exactly driven by hard Alaskan work wear. But, then again it's not exactly geared towards your typical hard working Alaskan.

I’m so thankful for the nice blond lady who helped me yesterday in the Anchorage store. Nothing ever fits when I order online and returning items means taking time off work to get to the post office in Kotzebue. My time is precious when I fly down to Anchorage so having her help me find what I needed was greatly appreciated. She knew that store like the back of her hand and was able to keep a nice pile of insulated pants ready for me to try on. All I had to do was stay in the dressing room and figure out what fit correctly — instead of getting dressed and coming out to walk aimlessly around the store in search of another pair. I don’t care how much anything costs because the clothing at Duluth is top notch and is an investment - the insulated pants I was wearing have held up for three years and I wanted a pair just like them but the nice blond lady knew they had been discontinued. Too bad the other stores don’t take care of their customers like the nice blond lady. Good luck finding someone to assist you at REI or Cabellas. Thanks Duluth — and thanks mostly to the nice blond lady …..there aren’t many sales people out there who actually take pride in their job and enjoy helping others- you are appreciated!

Bit pricier than other clothing stores, but I can tell you from experience, you're actually buying better quality. Old Navy jeans tear through on me within a month. I've been wearing my first pair of Duluth jeans for six and they still look brand new.

Amazing staff. Walked in and saw a friendly face, with many helpful staff. The store was very nice and clean, but I feel the staff really set a great positive environment. Seeing them work so well, smiling and laughing with one another, as well as with the customers definitely made my day. Also, the Puffin Hooded Jacket is an amazing product which I thought is well worth the money. Definitely coming back.

They have non standard sizes on the shelf I wear a 32' 36' and there are many varieties to choose from. I suggest the fire hose jean style. They are semi elastic around the waist and a comfort to wear.

The store was in immaculate condition and the staff was very polite and very helpful. Prices are high, but that is too be expected. I just couldn't justify spending that much money on a tool backpack for work that has no hard sided pockets and no hard lined bottom. The Klein backpack is $40 less and I've got 2 of them because their durability is great. I was disappointed to see that Duluth is counting on you spending extra money just for their name. Quality is important too guys

I love Duluth quality, but this location in Anchorage has been a disappointment. They seem to always be thin on inventory. In between seasons maybe? Slim selection, especially in the "Alaska Hard Gear" section.

Update: I've been wearing these new pants made out of a fire hose type materials and I love them. A ultra lightweight feel and I'm able to move in ways other pants wouldn't allow without ripping the crotch out. My other pants I owned previously have a nice spot on a hanger in my closet. Interesting story. I was approached by a random larger man like myself and he asked me if I had been wearing Carharts all my life which I have been. He asked me to give Duluth trading a try and if I didn't like it I could simply return it. So I went to the location on old Seward and was amazed by the overall selection of quality products. Met by a very nice person at the door and helped by a professional acting employee for fitting. I fell in love with the pants I bought for work and now have something that moves with me instead of against me as I move. I'm definitely a believer in the company who actually makes clothes to fit us naturally bigger men or women. Prices are comparable to the other type of work wear I'd buy so my budget is the same as before.

Big store for a handful of goods. Does it really need a full wall display for three styles of panties? I'd have to say no. That said I do like the clothing. The quality is good and even the underwear I bought from the wall display are now some of my favorites.

I really love their clothes and sitting area. If you need clothes for taller men, they have that also. They're also really durable in the wash. The only thing is their shirts run a but bigger than normal, but they have a lot of sizing options.

Visited here today prior to their grand opening. Wow!!! Every retail store should take notes. Super friendly staff immediately upon entering the door. Spent about 45 minutes walking around and we were constantly approached asking if we had any questions or needed help (in a good way, not pushy or annoying). They have a lounge area with free coffee, free bottled water, couch, tv, and computers to browse on. I am serious. Sweet! We were informed they also have the only Duluth Trading clearance section in the United States. They just opened and the clearance room was packed full of all kinds of good stuff. All of their gear and apparel is really high quality and really reasonably priced. If you have never owned anything from Duluth, you are missing out. Their clothes are indestructible and comfortable. If that wasn't enough, we checked out with just a dog toy (coming back for the grand opening) and the cashier applied a $10 coupon to our total, just because. Thanks! Also, check the bottom of your receipt. They have a 1 year return policy. Super pumped to have a Duluth Trading in Anchorage AND it is done right. No longer have to wait for the long shipping times to Alaska. Bravo guys!

surprisingly limited selection in sizes as well as variety. Plus, I always thought that Duluth Trading Company was made in America? Apparently not. Most of the items here were made in Asia, which I don't necessarily mind but I went there specifically to buy some made in the USA clothing. The women's selection in the work clothes is pretty slim. Staff are helpful, but they are limited by the lack of sizes and selection.

Absolutely the best rain gear (Alaskan) that I have ever owned hands down! From hunts here in back country Alaska to a several week metal detecting trip to British farms where it rained every day, the Alaskan rain gear never failed. I used the pants and jacket every day in the mud and dirt and stayed dry. They are also very easy to clean up. Highly recommend!

There's several places/stores that promise quality outdoors clothing, but Duluth is the only one who really delivers on that promise. You definitely get what you pay for with these folks. Duluth Trading is one of my favorite places to shop and the quality of their items is superior to most other places I've shopped. The Firehose Flex pants have become the replacements to the Dockers dress pants that had been a staple for 30 years for me. They fit better and wear like iron.

Denim is durable. Flexhosepants are pretty great. The free-swinging flannels are great too. My issue is that they're "working man" clothes with designer prices. Cmon, all the stuff is made overseas. I can see $80 for pants made in USA. *UPDATE - the zipper broke on the jeans I bought here. However, the store replaced them easily and quickly. Still, I like the concept of the clothing, the prices and apparently the quality kind of suck.

They have a great lounge area for you to sit down, relax and grab a cup of coffee - Ron Swanson would be proud. Lots of staff on hand for any questions as well as a clearance room. And don't worry - there are sales and deals to be had even on day one. If you are new to Duluth - they make solid, easy fitting, long lasting clothes that you will get maximum mileage out of. And their Buck Naked underwear and Ballroom jeans are stuff of legends. Legends.

I have shopped with Duluth Trading before they had open their 1st brick a mortar store. So was so happy to hear they opened one in Anchorage so while in the area today I went to check it out. My rating is not reflected on the products or staff but by how they are screwing people on pricing. Everything I ordered came to $116.90 to come home and find out everything should have been on sale. Every single item was suppose to be on sale from the shirts to the soaps to the socks I got with a difference of $18.58, so no telling how many people have paid more then they should have... We called the store back and they stated to bring in the receipt and what info from the website says and they will take care of it... We also called corporate and the customer service had closed already bit the women stated no matter how you buy threw Duluth website or store front the prices are the same. So if you've been there the past few days check your receipt compared to online and see how much your owed...

Try to find a pair of pants that are 40x34. Here you can. 2xl Tall, yep they got it. I got a pair of fire hose pants for xmas, they're awesome-i can move so freely. Bifocal sunglasses, theyre awesome too!! Real leather bags, cologne, soap, etc. I want to jump into a pool of Duluth gear and roll around in it!
