Reviews of Grace Bible Church of Tampa

My wife and I were looking for a church that takes God’s Word seriously. Grace Bible Church of Tampa was where the Lord brought us. The people are kind, the pastors are biblical and the fellowship is sweet. I’ve been so encouraged and edified by the Word preached and love shown here that I would gladly recommend this church!

We have been at GBCT since 2009. The word of God has been faithfully taught week in an week out. If you are look for a church that has a high view of God and His word, Grace Bible Church of Tampa is where you need to be. If you are reading this then you are looking for truth and it is only found in Jesus Christ.

If you are looking for a church that has a high view of God and men that will explain the bible with clear detailed preaching then you should consider visiting GBCT. I have been a member for about 9 years and this church has helped me to understand how much I need the Lord Jesus Christ in my life every day not just on Sunday's. They broadcast the services online but you should consider visiting in person because God has brought together an amazing group of people who love Him and His word.

Grace Bible Church is our home church. We have been attending for many years, and have been privileged to have the word of God taught, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, book by book, every week. We have seen pastor Mike finish his ThD, all the while raising his children, selflessly attend to the members of our church, and still take time to work a robust ministry on the USF campus. We chose this church based on so many things, the the doctrine taught, the number of young adults who attend, the ethnic diversity we see each week, the humility and true inclusiveness exhibited by everyone, from the top down.
May God continue to bless this group throughout the years to come.

The preaching and teaching are expositional, verse by verse; the music is theologically sound and worshipful; the elders are sound in their judgement and really care about the flock. We believe in the distinction between the Church and the Nation of Israel--God has ordained separate plans for both. We bask in the glory of God's soverignty and the Doctrines of Grace. This is not a "Seeker Sensitive Church"--GBCT does not focus on entertainment (i.e. flashy lights, full scale band, social club style programs, etc.). Our focus is sound, biblical expository teaching from God's holy Scriptures--which is 75% of the Sunday services. We have home Bible studies on Wednesday nights--which are also expositional. We also have a Deaf ministry in our Church as well. If you are looking for true spirtual growth, this is the Church to attend.

It feels odd writing a review for a church, but I am for those wanting a solid Biblical church to attend of you are from out of town (as I am) or looking for a place in Tampa. Very much enjoyed the service, worship, people etc. Praise God and bless you all!

The teaching is straight from the Bible. I don't go to church for people but it is important to have solid believers surrounding you and that is what I recieve each time I attend.

There is no such thing as a perfect church but I and my family love these people with all our hearts...
