Reviews of Magnolia Lutheran Church

My husband and I have been members of this church for many years. We have had the opportunity to participate in Sunday School, the annual Vacation Bible School, monthly quilting group, and so many other areas of outreach - 1,000 socks, three tiny houses, food donations to the Ballard Food Bank, many years of sponsoring girls of the Maasai tribe in Africa to go to school and so much more. Our worship is meaningful. We have both vocal and bell choirs. We have fun events. We have formed lasting and deep relationships with others in our congregation. We welcome every child of God to join us.

Our family loved our time at MLC and, while we've found a great church in Tokyo, we miss our MLC family. Great church for those who are thinkers/questioners as I have had many a great conversation with the Pastor... there are also plenty of ways to get involved/serve and feel connected with the community. Also, with having small kids, we always felt welcomed and Sundays were never a stressful experience. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful church inside and out. I have been going to this church since I was about 17, It will be 3 years this December. The church is vert welcoming with everyone being very helpful and kind. The best part is for me is that they have a choir that is open to anyone who can sing, but also a Pastor who is very helpful when I an in need of help. It fairly small and not really known but if you aren't sure about religion then come here. We aren't like many other churches we dint really have rules or "Things god don't want you doing" it a very different but great church that I would recommend to my loved ones

What a great church community! This church is the perfect blend of traditional liturgical and musical elements, while embracing modern and progressive values. I am grateful to be able to worship in a place that truly welcomes everyone and loves people for who they are. I feel that I can be me at MLC...I don't have to put on a "Sunday Self" to fit in. Plus, the sanctuary is so beautiful! It draws you in right away.
