Thank you to the woman who was kind enough to walk another customer for Humphreys street coffee through the church from the parking lot all the way across to the main st. My wife and I worshiped with you this morning (Jan 7th) what a wonderful experience. We felt so warmly welcomed from the very moment we entered the church building.. welcomed at the front door and direct to the Sanctuary. As we sat down many others spoke to us and then the Pastor came over asked where we were from and chatted to us in a warm and open way. The service was wonderful from the singing to the sermon - you have much to proud of at the Nashville First Baptist Church.

What a wonderful, welcoming place. Our children have been attending the Child Development Center there for years and we decided to start attending because of the love we felt towards them from so many people. We’ve had nothing but great experiences and feel right at home.

12/19/21 no tie no preach. Dr. Ben Mandrell i say no. As society becomes more secular we need to strengthen our biblical Christian teaching and affirm our beliefs not bend in weakness. 2018 Wonderful service, wonderful choir, wonderful Church felt very welcome... Oh and probably most important Wonderful Coffee thank you whoever made it!!

I think pastor Frank is great and delivers and powerful message. He is always on the mark every time I hear him. The staff is wonderful also, always friendly and inviting. Being a downtown church is always a challenge because of the commute. I think with the new construction going on we'll see an upswing in attendance, especially by younger folks.

Nashville First Baptist has been such a wonderful place for our family to grow in Christ! We joined as newly weds and are just as happy with our sweet church family seven years and two children later. The church has both a contemporary and traditional service so no matter your worship preference, you’ve got a service to attend - we love our church!

My wife and me were visiting today as guests to worship the Lord Jesus Christ as part of the congregation. We've expereanced a warm welcome from church members and from the senior pastor Dr. Frank Lewis and his wife. We felt instantly familiar with a faithful verse by vers preaching (Mark 4:35-41) - Jesus Christ is Lord also in our personal storms of life.

April 26, 2014, Rock and Roll Marathon. My daughter, traveling form Dallas ran in this marathon. Your church opened your arms with kindness to the runners. You provided free food, clean and warm bathrooms the day of the race. I have lived here for 27 years calling Nashville home. Your church made me SO PROUD of my city. In town for Rock and Roll Marathon, and was invited to Sunday service by a member that was on the race course offering encouragement to all of the attendants😀 The members were very welcoming and Pastor Frank had a timely sermon from God's word. We will definitely make this our church choice when in Nashville😀

Great Christmas eve service. Very nice facility. Low key security / welcome desk at the entrance too gives you extra safe feeling. They even had visitor parking close to the building that was fantastic. Would really like to visit there again.

I was with our Villa Divas visiting for a Country, Christmas Brunch with other Seniors. Food was great and speakers were inspiring and so side-splitting funny!! We laughed til we were crying!!

I've been to FBC- Nashville to sing twice this year and could not have felt more welcomed and accepted by the adult choir (which happens to be very gifted!) Nothing better than a bear hug from Director Joe Fitzpatrick!

I liked the church. That being said, we seated our selves, main floor, right, by the side entrance door.We were approached immediately by a woman. I knew what was coming. I said I'm in your seat aren't I ? Her response was "I've been sitting in that seat for forever". Ok. I was raised in the Baptist church. But what IF this were my 1st ever experience with any Christians..I have never been back..I doubt a non Christian would either.. To that lady all I can say is; It's not about you maam.
