Reviews of First Unitarian Universalist Church of Nashville
Great place to discover & follow your own spiritual path without having the Bible crammed down your throat.
Linda and i now live in the Portland metro area of Oregon and proud of years spent working with the good folks of this church. We are still members and will have our remains interned after we pass one day with those of whom we have work with over the years.
We still visit when visiting Nashville and stay in touch with close friends. i love all of what they stand for in unison for people rights and religious thought.
I'M NOT QUITE SURE WHY PEOPLE WHO NOT MEMBERS OR JUST VISITORS UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF RELIGIOUS FREEDOM CHOSE TO POST ON THIS SITE WITH NEGATIVE THOUGHTS. Thanks for reading!
I was spoiled at my Unitarian Universalist Church in the D.C. area (in Arlington, VA, UUCA), as the majority of service topics were interesting and applicable. I am not attending as frequently as I would like due to a lack of good service topics, but I went to one good one (skipped two of three, because I do not find them as interesting and/ or applicable). I hear there is a different reverend during the year that is not currently there, however, so not sure how I would feel about the regular reverend.
Such a wonderful and welcoming congregation that is very active in our community. Give them a visit!
