I went in to take some pictures and check out this Catholic Cathedral on Easter Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised as the outside is not to impressive but the inside was magnificent. As a bonus the organist was practicing for the Easter Vigil Mass. The acoustics were awesome. I’m thinking about asking to join the choir! If you want to see beautiful stained glass and old wood work and perhaps simply sit and meditate and pray stop in here.

I've been wedding photographer for over a decade and this is hands down one of my favorite Cathedrals ever! It is right near the heart of downtown, has gorgeous lighting and an amazing staff to accurate with weddings - not to mention absolutely stunning architecture.

What a beautiful old church. Went there for a wedding. Reminds me of old churches when I was growing up yet it was very clean and well lit.

I loved it here! The grounds were large and could hold crowds...I went when it was very quiet and no crowds. Beautiful church and beautiful place to visit.

I have moved away from Nashville, however, it is "with me today" as I became a Catholic and a member of Cathedral while I was there, I have missed the beautiful sanctuary and the people who helped me while I studied and found my way. My Nashville days are in my heart and I often wonder if my time in Nashville was "just" the road to get to the Cathedral, where my heart and mind received the gift of Catholicism. I hope to "see you again". Cathedral! The structure and all it holds is a gift to "all" who come through "it's doors".

Went there on Sunday afternoon 10/20/2019 for my son to receive a certificate for a Catholic medal in scouting. Cardinal Spalding conducted mass. He also took the time to shake everyone's hand in attendance. This was my first time at the cathedral in Nashville. It is a beautiful church that I would love to visit again. I recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful building! I attended a Daily Mass and it was perhaps one of the most reverent Ordinary Form Masses I've been to. The homily was excellent and applicable, and the community of people I encountered was welcoming. My only gripe would be with the accessibility of the building. Doors were locked until it was almost time for Mass to begin, while sitting outside and praying the Daily Office (I had walked and wasn't about to give up on going to Mass over a 30 minute wait) I had 3 different people approach me and ask me if I was affiliated with the Church because they were interested in checking it out. One guy said he passed by here every day but would rather go in on his own time than attend Mass or another service where he might be expected to participate.

I recently was hired to provide the entertainment for a wedding here. We had some power issues unrelated to the venue, but the venue staff went out of their way to provide solutions and help us overcome everything for a successful event. The venue is phenomenal and one of the most gorgeous venues I've been at. I look forward to working here again and working with the staff!!!

Incredible cathedral and beautiful Mass. Hard to understand priest due to accent and acoustics but very good Homilist. 5pm vigil Mass a Definite must if you’re in Nashville.

Beautiful church near downtown Nashville. The priests and congregation are friendly. The architecture inside is similar to the cathedrals in Europe.

I performed at a wedding here and the facilities were lovely. I cannot lie- being able to load in and load out on one floor and just being able to roll it right to the truck was extremely nice. It saved us a lot of time. The only thing was that we didn’t have a dressing room. It was just a storage room on the side. Nashville is a lovely city though and we enjoyed our time here.

This cathedral is beautiful! Really nice congregation. I little more causally dressed than most southern churches, and I find that refreshing. It’s probably because of the tourist, but hey, all are welcome and come as you are. Check this place out, parking in the rear.

Beautiful church, the ushers are really nice and helpful. Perfect for any students at Vanderbilt or their families that are visiting. The acoustics are a little echo-y but that is just because of the age of the building, but the artwork and architecture are beautiful

We attended the 11:00 AM mass on Sunday. The building is beautiful, and mass in the Ordinary Form was celebrated traditionally and reverently. The choir is outstanding, and the hymns were thankfully familiar. The other people were very friendly and welcoming. Parking is very easy on the street or in the two cathedral parking lots.

Beautiful mass inside a gorgeous cathedral. It was the best Good Friday mass I have ever attended. The choir is first class! Also, for as many people that attended, the staff kept the lines going quite efficiently.

Beautiful wedding. But it's under construction in some portions of the cathedral so it took away from the whole ambiance of the "perfect wedding". Other than that, beautiful cathedral.

I've been a parishioner here since 1997. I love my church family here. We have a thriving congregation of families, visitors and students that commute from all over the city and surrounding counties. We are blessed with Fr. Ed and Fr. Neely and a great quality group of deacons and staff. I'm clearly biased here and thought I might respond to a couple of the review comments here. The pews for Easter were saved for the winning bidders of the Knights of Columbus Silent Auction fundraiser. We have raised tens of thousands of dollars for Catholic Charities such as Room in the Inn and loaves and fishes over the years. One other item to note. Unfortunately, except during mass times when Cathedral staff are present, we are unable to leave our Sanctuary doors open due to problems with theft and vandalism. It is unbelievable people would deface or steal from a church but, shamefully, this is our world. Anyway, hope this helps. Peace be with you and please enjoy your visit to the Cathedral of the Incarnation!

Wonderful worship community and wonderful priests. I am from out of town and frequent Nashville for business. I have always been welcomed - and never once sensed that there is an "elite' that get special favors. I feel badly for the person who had an unfortunate experience at Easter. Hopefully they will find a place for forgiveness in their heart.

A lovely contrast to the noise and bustle of West End Avenue. Warm and inviting with snow outside. A great opportunity for some prayer and reflection.

I've always love this place. My oldest child had his confirmation here, beautiful ceremony. I know a person said that they felt unwelcome because they weren't an elite. I'm sorry you felt that way. I'm far from "the elite" and I can assure you the people here try very hard to make every one happy.

Church that has plenty of room for practices for orchestra and a Vanderbilt director, and it is somewhat ornate. A good church...? I don't know how to rate a church but it was good to use as an orchestra practice room for a day.

Ich kann nicht beurteilen, wie die Gottesdienste dort sind, ich kann noch nicht einmal beurteilen, wie es in Der Kirche aussieht, weil sie abgeschlossen war als wir dorthin gelaufen sind. Als Touristenattraktion wird sie häufig angepriesen und ist als solche ein Zwischenziel von 'Walking Tours'. Und das lohnt definitiv nicht - allein schon wegen des wirklich unschönen Wegs entlang der West End Avenue, den man zurücklegen muss um dorthin zu laufen. Das lohnt den Aufwand nicht!

This church is undergoing renovation of the central nave. There were three families who were having their babies baptized. I dedicated myself to pray for a few minutes in the auxiliary. When the renovation is finished, it should be a good place to listen to mass and reflect
