They brought me and helped to polish a lot of my skills up in many different areas also grooming me into being the deacon I am today Praise God. I love them for that. Liberty Community Church formerly known as Kwanzaa Community Church has a history of social justice. The name change reflects the broadening scope of Liberty's social justice mission. Liberty's social justice mission for the community of North Minneapolis provides such programs as 21st Century Academy and Northside Healing Space. Working with many community partners for equity in the areas of EDUCATION, HEALTH, HOUSING, EMPLOYMENT, and PUBLIC POLICY related to these issues Liberty Community Church welcomes all for community advocacy and Sunday worship.
