Reviews of Elim Church
Elim is undergoing metamorphosis. The building that housed her is now empty and those that met there are now joining Mill City. The merged body will hopefully occupy the Elim building on Easter Sunday. Now is a great time to join at Mill City...lots of new faces for everybody! You'll fit right in. We meet at Las Estrellas/Sheridan building.
Wonderful people and place to fellowship and worship, praise, and celebrate the WORD!
I will always love Elim, especially now that we have merged with Mill City
Great place to worship, praise GOD 🙏, and volunteer... You can have an immediate impact on someone's life! …
Great services and great fellowship. Focuses on Bible verses and community over '5 ways to...' kind of messages.
Moreover, they give more back to the neighborhood more than I have seen at some of the 'Mega churches' I have been to. Don't expect a lazer light show. You are going to participate in something with purpose instead.
Great worship, fabulous music
Warm and welcoming. Elim has enough history to give it stability as well as a gorgeous sanctuary that creates a welcoming environment to seek God. Their praise team is talented and fill the sanctuary with beautiful music. They live out their value for intergenerational ministry by truly caring for each other. This is a community of Christ followers seeking to know and follow His call on our lives.
My grandmother attended this church back in the 40’s. I have the Elim Baptist Church cookbook dated 1949 given to my mother by her mother. Lots of old Swedish recipes.
Elim Church is working with Non-Profits to build tiny homes for the homeless. Wonderful solution to a huge problem in Minnesota.
My wife and I walked into Elim by chance one Sunday, and have been coming back ever since. Elim welcomes without condemnation, while still offering gentle encouragement to seek God each day. I'm impressed by the dedicated volunteers in the kids/youth ministry and the Hope Ave homeless ministry. Real relationships are formed, and people are never just numbers. Elim may seem a bit quirky sometimes, but that's what happens when God has been working here for 130 years.
Good Interior clean comfortable good staff
I like Hope avenue Hope avenue is a place where people that's unsheltered can come and sit and have a good time cuz of corporate is not there no more because of they change anyways of how it's run it's not there anymore but Hope avenue is a peaceful quiet lovely like the people that's unsheltered I love it I give Hope avenue 5 stars
Pastor Becky and her tough and rough exterior turned me off at first but she's a good woman and it's a helping church with breakfast on Sunday pastor Becky a good woman
Elim is a place I can now call home. Great preachjbg, children's ministry and adult education. I also enjoy the worship.
My seminary friend Pastor Becky ministers here. I'm sure they're awesome.
Good food, but poor service. Waiter offered and then immediately refused giving us cucumbers.
