Unique worship music and sermons. People are very welcoming. If one is gay or doubtful this would be the place for them. Not your normal Baptist.

I had my eagle scout ceremony here. They were really accommodating to find a good time and place that was suitable for the event. It's a historical church and a fun place to look at.

I was here to see 'Madwoman' of Minneapolis this February. It's great that this church allows its community to use its basement for theatrical purposes. Accessible? Yes definitely! There's even an ADL ramp in the back.

This church is such a beautiful place you can feel God when you come into it it's the people are excellent in here it's a group of people just trying to do the best they can in this awful world at times and we see the good in it it's my church so I'm going to speak glowingly of it but to be totally honest you looking for somewhere to come and worship come on just come check it out we have people come visit and they stay for years so I'd say give it a try you never know you might find your home like I did cuz I love my church it makes it hard to leave this city that's what's holding me here my church but I'll take it with me whenever I go it's an excellent place and you can also get thomasina's cashew brittle she makes it actually at my church we have a commercial kitchen

Truly a place where all are welcome. I hadn't been to church in years. I used to pass Calvary on my way from from work every day and decided to go to a service there one Sunday morning. I'm still going there 13 years later. It's a place where you can be yourself. I've grown a lot because of Calvary. It's a great place doing great work in the community.

I have been attending this church since 2006 (originally intended to "shop" around but never went anywhere else). The authenticity of this congregation is what makes it stand out for me. This church values biblical knowledge, hospitality (welcoming others and being welcomed), friendships where we all have something to offer and receive, people from diverse backgrounds, as well as justice locally and globally.
