What a beautiful Church! The service was very good. The pastor had a wonderfully simple homely that made for a pleasant morning of reflection. As you walk the entire church, you will see stations of the cross, a wonderful library, numerous places to pray/ devote, and view beautiful works of religious art. Interesting note: Conrad Hilton donated the bell in the bell tower.

01292022: Great church with nice architecture. Minister was fun to listen to and the people are outright friendly here. This is my second time here while traveling.

Wonderful Midnight Christmas Mass. The sanctuary is acoustically super. They have a great brass ensemble. The Choir was excellent and the soloists were awesome. The message was kinda strange but but got the point across. However I was slightly disappointed that it was not conducted in Latin. I still give them 5 stars. My first time, it seem like a great place to fellowship...

Great place for your spiritual being. But with a aging congregation, and yes a young congregation, who both are deaf these days. Let put it like this, love the Church, the kind people, and the message when I can hear it. but someone needs to assist this church with Audio and Video, the back row wants to hear the God given messages also. Beautiful Church, someone please, who has the financial and technical, help St. Joseph's with Audio-video.. that Church is worth it !!!! jo

I'm a lapsed Catholic, so only attend with my mom or dad. But when I do go, always impressed by how nice the church is. Staff is wonderful, especially with elderly or disabled. And I don't sleep through the sermons, either.

Such a beautiful church. The mosaics inside are absolutely amazing. The whole property has such a peaceful feeling. If I lived closer I would make this my parish because it's that beautiful. The property is mission style so it looks and feels like a small mission. Very reverent rosaries are prayed every Tuesday evening before Mass.

I love my Church!!! Our Pastor, Fr. Marc, the Deacons, the Choir, the Staff, the Ushers, the volunteers in the community chapel - they all do a tremendous job in keeping our Church very stable after all these years and such a wonderful place of worship! I’ve been going here for over 10 years and it was truly a sad day for me to learn that our Pastor, Fr. Marc is moving to a different Parish as well as Fr. Jose. I was emotional bidding them goodbyes. May God bless you both to your new journeys and you will both be missed! Thank you for enriching our lives!

This is a very pretty devotional and holy feeling place. The congregation needs to be spirit filled however because less and less people sing nowadays. Its like they're in a trance. The priests are nice and try to give a good homily but I wish they didn't try to limit it to 5 minutes. If someone has to rush through church then they shouldn't be there in the first place. Really? Cmon now!

I was visiting from out of town and didn't know a single person at this parish, yet I was greeted by at least 3 people as I entered. The priest really cares about his congregation. Quite active participation by the congregation and vibrant liturgy -- so a plus if that suits you! The icons were very beautiful and served their purpose of drawing me into a place of prayer.

It took me awhile to find a church that would feel right. I found this church by accident and never left. Everyone is so nice and kind. The father's are funny and keep your attention all the way to the end. Thank you for making me feel so welcome.

Missed the Ashes yesterday but I attended the mass. But still lucky coz there was one lady who did for us to have it. People shared to Us. We asked if there's a chance to have but the Priest said no! They have so many masses that u don't have a reason not to attend mass every weekend, and the people are very excited whenever they hear a good sermon,, they also have a wonderful priest that preaches the word of God in such a way that it makes it easy for u to be close to God without making so much effort,

This Church has the quaint look and welcoming atmosphere. I love to attend Masses here when I'm not on my Ministry duties from SEAS. Although SJHOM has no school, they have a lot of crafts during holidays for parishioners to enjoy.

It was church, adequate. Ash Wednesday service. Good homily. Priest was kind, but had trouble understanding him. Plenty if stations to receive ashes. Parish could use more parking accomodations . Thanks for the service.

This magnificent (welcoming) church with three sacred images (done by Bruno Salvatori) that's made of Venetian glass mosaic, in 1997-1998 won the Modern Liturgy Visual Arts Awards: Permanent Category. The Visual Arts Award is Modern Liturgy's annual juried competition for the visual arts. The three sacred images in the altar: The Trinity, the image of Jesus, and the Virgin Mary with the Christ Child.

I only wish I lived close to this church. The only reason I don't go is because I don't drive and it's too expensive to pay drivers to go there, but it's my favorite Catholic church because it reminds me of the missions in California that I used to live by. It's so peaceful there. Paulette Motzko

How greatful I am to encounter such helpful and caring souls in this parish that did everything in their power to educate me on Bible and Jesus. Make sure you arrive early if you're attending Mass. Parking is a problem even for the handicap. However, if you don't mind walking, there is ample parking across the street specifically for church goers.
