The absolute best chiropractor out there! I recently moved to Seattle and needed a new chiropractor. Dr. Kaufman was highly recommended and she did not disappoint. She took the time to listen to every single one of my complaints, walked me through her plan, answered all my questions, and continues to educate me with each visit. In addition, to having an incredible doctor, the office is also well managed by Dominique. Dominique has managed to work with my schedule and squeeze me in at the last minute. I love going in, it is truly an all around amazing experience!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Kaufman! I was in desperate search of a chiropractor when moving to Seattle. During our first meeting, I immediately knew Dr. Kaufman was a fit. She took the time to answer my questions and explained her holistic approach. I started going to Holistic Chiropractic Center more than 2 years ago when my Mom passed away and I had that “heavy burden” on my shoulders kind of pain, stiff neck that feels like the bone structure is going to collapse just by turning the head either right or left. I tried different deep massages, anti inflammatory medicine along with some other alternative therapies and nothing seemed to work. I Google chiropractics in the area, and found Dr. Hoffman, I called and luckily they were able to see me that same day! I met her and she gave me her “Chiropractic 101” lecture of what was going on and how the treatment worked, she started working on me after an in depth medical history and consultation. That same day I started feeling some relief, however it took about 2 more treatments during the same week to get a “back to life” routine. I haven’t stopped going for regular adjustments ever since, my husband is a devoted client now too, so happy family here! The office ambience is relaxing and Inviting. The staff is great, always smiling and going the extra mile to make sure we are well taking care of. Now with COVID regulations, they are super careful about limiting the number of people in the office and follow CDC protocol above and beyond expectations. We are grateful to have found them! I recommend them 100%

Dr. Kaufman and her group are incredible. From day one at the clinic Dominque and Dr. Kaufman make you feel at home and totally welcome. Dominque is very disarming and it’s great that they make sure they can take care of parking for you as well! I have gone to other chiropractic offices in the past but Dr. Kaufman really stands out. She takes her time with you and makes sure that you are leaving in a better place than you arrived. I came with multiple old injuries and she is helping me address each one individually. I will definitely be staying here for the long haul!

Additionally, I’ve been to chiropractors who are too gentle, and chiropractors who are too forceful—Dr. Kaufman is the perfect balance. Dr. Kaufman takes such care with each and every patient she sees. I can tell when I haven’t seen her in a while, she is so good at alleviating my neck and back pain that I forget it exists. And I have scoliosis, so being free of back pain was something I didn’t think I would ever say. Even during busy hours (5pm-6pm), they never schedule appointments so people share rooms, even though the community of clients there are some of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. Dominique and Dr. Kaufman have such an incredible ability to bring people together and make them feel comfortable, and their space is so peaceful despite being in a very accessible area of South Lake Union.

She is efficient at answering the phones, does not rush you out of the office. Domonique creates an office space that is warm, welcoming, calming, and promotes healing. Domonique is an extremely well educated and rounded person with tons of personal experience. She is not your average office manager. Also - she out-dresses everyone 😉. Don’t know what to wear? Ask Domonique. Excellent sense of humor! Sonia is an excellent director of admin. She is an extremely kind, well rounded and friendly director of admin. She is very detailed oriented and documentes all your symptoms before you see the doctor. Sonia ensures the office stays covid-19 compliant by consistently wiping frequently touched surfaces. The office has a beautiful design, that promotes healing, and relaxation. This is not your typical office, it shows Dr. K, Domonique, and Sonia have put in a lot of effort into this office. COVID-19 RESPONSE: They abide by all the CDC guidelines. You must take a short COVID-19 survey prior to entering the building, every time. Your temperature is checked, patients are staggered, Domonique is an “air traffic controller” as she ensures all patients remain 6 feet apart at all times. Sonia and Domonique place patients in different rooms as they wait. All frequently touched surfaces are wiped after every patient. Masks are required. Great office, excellent team. Highly recommended.

I was having major back and neck pain. The pain was so bad that I was spending most of my day hunched over. When I walked I had shooting pain down my legs. My muscles were constantly tight and made my life very difficult. I worked on my feet all day and by the time I was off all I wanted to do was lay down. It was embarrassing to go to the grocery store and my social life was non existent. After finding Dr Kaufman she quickly had me upright again and within a month I felt normal again. After living with pain for months I no longer worry about hurting myself when I exercise. My life is back to normal and I have Dr Kaufman to thank for that. The only regret I have is that my pride didn’t let me seek help sooner. I recommend Holistic Chiropractic Center for anyone living with back pain and thinking it’s just part of getting older. It is not and there is help other then surgery and pain pills. Again I just want to express my gratitude to all the staff at Holistic for all they do.

The entire team at Holistic is wonderful. Dr. Kaufman is caring and knowledgeable, and will spend as much time as you need to answer any questions you have. Domonique at the front desk is one of the nicest and most welcoming people, and I don't mind arriving early to my appointments as she'll talk to you about anything. Emily is an extremely effective massage therapist; she'll try a slew of techniques to relieve tension and pain, and her hands are just magical. I haven't personally had any experience with Natasa, but you can read any of the other reviews to see that she's excellent as well. For my specific case, I've had migraines since middle school. Beyond reducing external stressors, nothing has historically been successful in helping with my migraines. However, since starting regular care at Holistic 6 months ago, the severity of my migraines has gone down significantly. Furthermore, I recently scheduled an adjustment immediately as a migraine started, and the adjustment relieved my pain within 30 minutes. For anyone with migraines who's been unable to identify any successful preventative or treatment solutions, I'd highly recommend trying chiropractic care to see if it also helps you.

I walked in and the place felt inviting and calm with pleasant wall colors, local artist's work, and the smell of hot apple cider. The experience with Dr. Dawn Smallwood was attentive... she listens. She knows much about the body beyond the skeletal which really helped when I was having back spasms. A combination of spinal adjustments and very focused massage helped me sleep that night, more than prescriptions from the doctor.
