Eastlake Chiropractic has been such a life saver! I’ve been to a few Chiropractic offices around the Seattle area and always felt I was being sold a “membership” of sorts or products I didn’t want or need while my main issue wasn’t being addressed. When I was in a pinch and needed to get in ASAP, Eastlake got me in the same day. I was hesitant at first but let me tell you, Dr. Calvin has been fantastic! He addressed my issue and within a week or two of seeing him I felt great! He was also very informative during each visit about what to expect and things I could do at home. The front office staff has been outstanding when it comes scheduling and insurance information. I would 100% recommend anyone to go see them.

I was recommended here by a friend years ago. I recently came back to see Dr.Kamell due to lower back pain. I signed up for a 6 session package, and my lower back felt much better after the first 2 sessions. Dr.Kamell is very knowledgable and gave me some exercises to do at home to increase mobility and prevent any issues. I have been using these exercises and they do seem to help.The staffs are also very welcoming and professional. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a chiropractor!

I was skeptical of chiropractic work before I had a back injury years ago. I visited several Drs before settling on Eastlake. Its their attention to the issue and ensuring your well being that is most important. This was so much different than other places that just wanted me there for my insurance. I want to thank the entire team there for their help and customer service. In another instance I had broken my shoulder and was in therapy for 4 months with a frozen shoulder when I went in to see Dr Calvin for a separate issue. He could visibly see the problem and began to educate me on my options. It was within one week after he worked on my shoulder when I was able to have full motion once again. I highly recommend the Eastlake team, their knowledge and professionalism.

I was in an MVA a handful of months ago and am being treated by Dr. Calvin and the amazing massage team. I originally found this place for my partner a few years back who was in pain from a slipped disk (Dr. Calvin totally helped him and probably saved him from needing surgery). I used to work in the medical field and am very picky about my medical providers. My treatment here is highly personalized and never rushed (and the front office staff are extremely nice). Good staff, quick and productive visits. I've gotten some great help here recovering from multiple injuries now, and when I didnt want to do a return visit, I was taught how best to rid my ribs of the scar tissue developing so that it wouldn't be an issue. Sure enough, I get another chest injury (well earned), just a few inches away, yet the spot I'd previously injured was fine under the strain. Obviously great results in a friendly, easy environment.

I've been going to Eastlake Chiropractic and Massage Center for the past few months for massage therapy appointments (with Jen; for lower back issues) and chiropractor appointments (with Dr. Kamell; for lower back and rib issues). They accept Regence insurance and are very easy to schedule with. You can also easily reach them by text and they'll send you appointment reminders. The location is convenient, the staff are super friendly, and I've always received great service here. Especially Jen -- her hands are magic! So relaxing and she makes it feel like a spa visit even when I'm there for massage therapy. I really like seeing Dr. Kamell's sweet old dog, Tasha, around the office too. I tried going to at least 5 other massage therapy locations before Eastlake Chiro and this is the one for me!

When I brought the issue up to their office manager Sam, she reduced my bill but didn’t make it right. This ended up costing me $120. This is something other insurance patients should be aware of. Dr Calvin is my go to whenever my neck, shoulder, and or sciatica are out of whack. He gets me in and gets me out. Sometimes my pain level is at a 10 when I go in. I can’t move my neck, cough or laugh without pain but after the adjustment, give it a day or two and I’m back to no complaints with fluid motion. I’ve been a patient for the past 2 years. He’s helped with aftercare for a biking accident, vehicle accident and daily general mobility. He does it all! Knowledgeable and personable. I also appreciate that he encourages you to keep moving. Years ago I had been hiking and when I went to get out of my car I could hardly twist and walk I was miserable and of course this was on a Friday. I didn’t bother going to an ER as I know I would’ve been told to take some pain medication and ice the area and just wait for it to resolve itself. This office has Saturday hours so I went down and got seen by Dr. Calvin M. and swear he was a miracle worker! It took several adjustments that following week but I was up and running and in very little pain. I now go for periodic tuneup appointments for my back and/ or neck. And, another caveat is if you call you’ll talk to a real person and not be put on some obstructionistic telephone tree .

Dr Kamell has done wonders for my upper and lower back. And this is a place run by people who place your comfort, healing and customer service as priorities. His practice is really as good as it comes. As you walk into the well decorated office, you would be greeted with a big smile from Sam, his cheerful front desk lady. If you are lucky, you will also be greeted by one of the cutest puppies I have ever met, Tasha. Since the day I brought her some little treats, this little one has been following me around everywhere the moment I walk through the door. How can you not like that? Back to Dr Kamell. I am in full agreement with all the other reviews saying that he is a wonderful listener with a great human touch to make you feel instantly at ease. He is funny, capable and very obviously a man of integrity. During my first visit, I was in pretty bad shape. Dr Kamell listened intently, with a smile, and gave me a prediction for "6 visits, two weeks, every other day" to feeling better. On top of that, he recommended two massage sessions with their in-house LMT Savannah. 6 visits later, I could move again, and my tightness disappeared. I can sleep again and I am much more functional at work. I went there two more times to take out more kinks and I am good. After that, he even told me that I wouldn't have to go again until I feel I need it. Onto Savannah, the massage therapist. She must have given me some of the best massages I have ever had (I have gone through about 20 LMTs). She has the strength, and the touch to figure out where I needed it most. It hurt so good! The first massage, when I was "broken" was so good that I broke out in sweat. And after that, relaxation. I slept for the very first time that night in months. And she is very friendly, funny and easy-going. I think it speaks to the culture of this place. Also, it turned out that my UW insurance plan sucks (well, that's another topic altogether). And the (not really a) coverage would cost me MORE than if I would pay cash (they have a cash price option, way lower than what they bill insurance). Sam realized that almost immediately and told me about the better option. I ran a little spreadsheet, and figured that she was entirely correct. That's wonderful. What more can you ask for at any business, really. This is an honest, extremely competent establishment, run by a group of dedicated professionals who care about your health and well-being. Operating the way they do (even telling me I don't have to go back regularly any more!), they have to rely on referrals. So here it is, a wholehearted recommendation for Dr Kamell and his practice. And did I mention the dog?!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Calvin on and off for the past 8 years for periodic neck pain. I had been to a handful of other chiropractors before and he is by far the best. He doesn’t push you to come in for more adjustments than you need, which I think is refreshing in this field. The other places I went had me thinking I needed two adjustments a week for months but Dr. Calvin had me feeling great in only a few sessions with instructions to come back if needed for tune ups. He also manipulates the muscles in the trouble areas of my neck before adjusting it. This seems to help the adjustment stick, at least for me. Plus it provides instant relief from my tension headaches! He also recommended stretches and other things to do at home to help prolong the effects of the adjustments. If I’m having an especially bad bout of headaches, I’ll schedule an adjustment followed by a massage, which is THE BEST. I can’t recommend Eastlake Chiropractic enough!
