Dr. Aquil is a treasure. I've been experiencing pain for decades! She's the only Dr. that has ever taken the time to find out what was really the culprit of my pain, pin point my problems instead of treating me like every other patient and explain her techniques and provide me with a plan. I was even given a pamphlet on what to expect after my 1st adjustment. The aroma is therapy, the front desk young lady is lovely and I couldn't be happier to have found a Chiropractor that cares about her craft!

Dr Aquil has turned out to be a real gemstone in my life, a healing one! I have suffered with back problems for years after being rear ended in a car accident in 2016. The chiropractor I saw only did heating pads and some other weak treatment. I was done with chiropractors after that. I continued to wake up in various levels of pain. A friend of mine who very health conscious (vegan, organic, etc) was going to see her so I asked for her number, and that was when my life changed for the better. I just ended 3 weeks of a 6 week treatment plan, and I swear at 66 years of age I’m already a new man. No more of that taking 5 minutes to get out of bed or pain meds. I rise like the phoenix now. LOL! She is soooooo good and takes the business of realigning your spine seriously! Her initial triage is very technical and in-depth. If you have back issues you don’t have to suffer anymore. Go see this wonderful doctor and suffer no more!!

I honestly recommend this center. I have been going for almost a month now. I have seen major improvements already, sharp nerve pinching mid-back pain is Gone! And now working through the re-alignment process for a few more weeks. Dr. Elaine is Very professional, knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable from the very beginning. This was my first time ever seeing a chiropractor, and it's been very pleasant and helpful thus far. She is also accomodating with appointment times. Which is great.

Between the relaxing atmosphere, the peppermint infused oil, the good mornings, the friendly conversations, this place is always super welcoming! I came to relieve my neck and back pain that has been causing me nonstop shoulder and lower back pain and headaches. My first visit, Dr. Elaine was so thorough on how the treatment will go, and I absolutely love how transparent she was with me the whole time. That's one of the things has me going back every time. Every visit has been quick and comfortable (I'm in love with that muscle relaxer tool she has), and although the first 2 weeks I was feeling sore after the appointments, I knew it was a sign that the corrections were working; my body just had to get used to the new adjustments. I even told her about my allergies (it's allergy season), and she was able to help relieve my sinuses with her tool, which I had no idea that could be done! My sinuses were cleared and I was able to breathe and feel no pressure on my face within 5 minutes! Praise! Forever going to recommend this place to my family and friends!

Literally, I crawled into the office. I was in pain. The staff and doctor were so understanding and patient. Dr. Elaine Aquil is highly knowledgeable and efficient. If you are having any type of back or spine issue I highly recommend you give her a call.

The practice also has a family vibe with other clients being kind and friendly. I've just started going and already have seen so much improvement. Not only has Dr. Aquil helped with my upper back pain, but I have noticed my sleep pattern improve. I would wake up many times throughout the night, not from any pain in particular, but just in general. I came to Nubian Family Chiropractic in a great deal of pain, desperate to find a solution and no clear understanding of how I got to this point. As this was my first time working with a chiropractor, I was skeptical that the straight forward treatment plan would alleviate my pain. While it was slow at first, I realized it was working when I started dancing to music one morning while getting dressed without thinking about the pain! I am thankful that I was able to be a patient here. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, they keep the environment clean and friendly and the doctor takes the time to listen, explain and adjust as needed. I continue to make the 30+ minute drive because of the results and service and would recommend anyone in need of a chiropractor give this place a try.

Dr. Aquil is a just a doctor that knows her craft, PERIOD! It is very rare to find a doctor who will be patient and actually explain what problem you are having and not immediately just prescribe something to fix it. I had the most annoying pain in my neck, literally, and by the third visit I realized I didn't have the pain. She helped me to understand the spine and why I was having my problems, she also was very detailed on how we could attack the problem and it worked!

When I first visited the center I had pain going from my back to my left foot, I was walking slowly bent over and I was having problems going to sleep. Dr. Aquil and staff have been doing an amazing job during the pandemic. I was in so much pain from a motor vehicle accident a few years ago and my old chiropractor just wasn't able to mitigate my pain anymore. But Dr. Aquil was able to determine the origins of my pain and treat me effectively. She so talented that she only needs to palpate around my spine to find the subluxations and a device that gives soft adjustments instead of those scary, hard neck adjustments.

I first went to NUBIAN FAMILY CHIROPRACTIC back in the 1980's after being hit from the back in a car accident. They were on Clinton Avenue then. My husband, pregnant daughter, 2 grandchildren and I was all treated by the Aquils'. I see her now, just like back then, the service is excellent. I’ve had SUCH an amazing experience with Nubian family chiropractic services. My daughter suffers from chronic middle ear infections and has been considered for surgery several times. This time around I decided to try chiropractic alternatives and the turn around has been tremendous. My daughter developed a cough, runny nose, and began low grade fevers prior to our visit. Shortly after my daughters coughing stopped and her nose began draining properly. After her second visit that week she’s made such a turn around I plan on being a patient myself and keeping my daughter a patient for years to come. And the plus side is, BLACK OWNED!
