After dealing with a nagging neck/shoulder injury from lifting for over a year, I decided to finally do something about it and discovered Warrior NYC. I have been working with Dr. Steve for over a month and can say that he is extremely knowledgeable, personable and has magical hands. I couldn’t be happier with the progress we have made through all of the adjustments and deep tissue work that Dr. Steve has performed. He takes the time to educate you on the specifics of your injury and the manual work he is performing on you and even provides mobility exercises to do at home in between visits to advance the recovery progress. I leave feeling better than I arrive every single time.

After a lifetime of injuries, this is the only place I trust to get me back to 110%. The Chiropractic services offered by Dr. Alexander are like no other rehab program I've ever been a part of. Truly unique and practically a miracle as to how quickly he gets you back on your feet. The manual work that he does on you, through massages/adjustments/stretching/cupping, you name it, leaves you feeling better than you did upon arrival every single time. He also educates you so much on the specifics of your injury. So much to the point where not only are you fully comfortable with the fact that he knows what he's doing each step of the way, but that he truly cares to help you. For reference sake, I had a back surgery in January and was playing basketball again by March, not to mention dunking for the first time in almost 5 years. I owe it entirely to the time I've spent with Warrior Chiropractic as well as the House of Physical Therapy, which is in the same office, all one team. Bottom line...he'll leave you in better shape than you were in before you even got injured, and Johnny, along with the Physical Therapy team, are all awesome people who I've had an absolute pleasure working with.

I have been re-adjusted and had deep tissue work done by this office. Dr.Johnny is incredibly knowledgeable and well versed in working with an array of athletes and strength trained individuals. I am a competitive bodybuilder for over 15 years with my fair share of tight muscles, knots and scar tissue. Would go back regularly and recommend any one else looking for proactive maintenance and recovery to do the same. Mobility and joint health is the name of the game when it comes to longevity as an athlete. Be proactive and not reactive. Get your maintenance done regularly.

Been coming to Warrior for the past few months now. From the moment you walk in it's a great experience. The space is clean and welcoming and has a relaxing vibe. Dr. Johnny is great at listening to exactly where your pain points are and where you need relief. I work with Liron as well, a PT who's also onsite, and together they came up with a treatment plan for me. They genuinely care about their clients and are flexible to go with a plan that suits you. Every single person has a great personality there, even at the front desk, really cool people. Just a great experience overall, and I hurt way less so that's really the main thing, right?? Seriously, best in the biz!!!!

Dr. Johnny had the perfect modern techniques to help and heal all of my different issues in the last 3 years. I've tried a chiropractor closer to my home just for convenience but even with 15 years more experience, the guy didn't know how to relieve my muscle pain, knots and stress. Making the trip back to Dr. Johnny now is all worth it when he truly meets my needs, understands my issues and helps my pain. If you’re looking for a chiropractor that cares and will do the most to help to feel better go to Warrior Chiro, and see Dr. Johnny. I’ve gone to a hand full of different chiropractors here in NYC and in other cities and Dr, Johnny is by far the best I’ve ever been too. In the past the chiropractors I saw would become repetitive without asking what brought me in that day and would simply treat was my previous problems were. Dr. Johnny takes the time to listen and treat the issues that has brought me in that day and does the most to help and ensure that I leave feeling better and revealed. He uses deep tissue massage, cupping and other technique to release and losses the tights spot then moves into the adjustments. He’s help to improve my pelvic tilt make it more neutral and loosened my thoracic spine to allow me to move more easily and efficiently. Johnny’s the best! ! !

Dr. Johnny is the Chiropractor I've been looking for! I can't say enough nice things about him. Excellent addition to the East Village! Great, private office. Most important to me, he's the chiropractor who spends the most time with me one-on-one time at every session. Before doing any correction, he takes time to loosen me up with massage, heat, stretching and cupping (which I love). I've felt improvements in my posture and pain-level with each visit. Being able to step in to Dr. Johnny’s space and actually be on the receiving end is something I look forward to with each visit. He is incredibly knowledgeable and was able to address my chronic low back pain from day one. He uses a comprehensive combination of techniques before making any chiropractic adjustments which is really unique and beyond helpful at relaxing the musculature prior to the physical manipulation. He also taught me moves and exercises to do at home as well as pointers on my posture during work so that I could avoid falling into the same routine that got me there in the first place. Johnny is awesome! He's really attentive and listens to whatever issues you bring up and adjusts treatment as necessary. Other chiropractors I've gone to before would just do the same adjustment every time no matter what but Johnny makes sure to address any specific issues you bring up. So glad I found Dr. Johnny and Warrior Chiropractic! Working from home without a real desk setup has taken a toll on my back, but with just a few visits I've been feeling SO much better. I've seen chiropractors that recommend crazy regimens, trying to push for appointments multiple times a week, but he's realistic and transparent with my own personal chiropractic needs, which I really appreciate. Seeing a new doctor in the middle of a health pandemic can be scary, but I've felt nothing but safe in his office. There's only ever one patient in at a time and the place is always super clean. I had injured my SI joint and came in to see Dr. Johnny. We started with twice a week and as I got better about 3 weeks in we switched to once per week. As compared to past experiences with other chiropractors, Dr. Johnny spends the necessary time on a patient (way more than just a few cracks) After each visit I woke up the next day with way more flexibility and motion. About a month in the injury flamed up again but with the consistent treatment we got my body back in action. I recommend setting a plan and following up. I’m my opinion one visit relieves some pain but multiple visits can help fix the problem.

After working with Dr. Johnny Alexander for two years, I feel amazing compared to when we started. I'm an active person, and am back to full speed or better in everything, after coming in with lots of pain simply walking. I had a debilitating lower back injury, which was a torn and/or herniated disc, and Johnny listened to everything I said, recommended a course of action, and set my expectations for the healing process. Every month, he would do a combination of deep tissue massage, stretching/mobility work, cupping, heat pads, and some adjustments. Highly recommend Dr. Johnny! I've been suffering from some really uncomfortable costochondritis (discomfort on ribs/sternum) during quarantine and I was so thankful to find that Dr. Johnny was one of the few chiropractors in the city to offer in-person sessions at this time. He was quick to respond to my email and was able to get me in the next day. Dr. Johnny took great COVID-19 precautions and I felt completely comfortable during our session. Best of all, I felt complete relief after just one session and I didn't even need to go to my follow up appointment (which Dr. Johnny was kind enough to allow me to cancel the day before). Let me start by saying I've NEVER had a good experience with a chiropractor... that was until I was treated by Dr. Johnny. He was able to fix pain that came from years of dance that was tough on my joints and back. Johnny is the best! I’ve been a patient of his for about a year. His work has been the antidote to stress related pain and stiffness. Best chiropractor ever!! If there's any place to go or any chiropractor to see, it's Dr. Johnny at Warrior Chiropractic!! I've had chronic back pain for years. I also have a bad ankle that I've injured from playing sports as a teenager. I've tried a lot of different treatmentsexercising, trying to manage my stress levels, getting massages, tried a number of chiropractors....all those things help but never provided any substantial relief. Then I found Warrior Chiropractic and it's the first time EVER where I feel a significant change. I found Dr. Johnny on ZocDoc and best decision I've ever made. He unfortunately doesn't take my insurance, but honestly he's worth every penny. He's very accommodating when it comes to your schedule. Great table side manner-friendly, personable, explains to you what treatment he will be doing, and why he's doing it. At every appointment, he checks in with you to see what progress you've made, if you need any adjustments to your treatment, and he aims to solve almost every issue your experiencing, not just the one you originally came in for. He uses several different techniques; chiropractic care, massage, cupping, Graston and scraping just to name a few. Truly the best place and doctor to go to!

Dr. Johnny has to one of my top NYC finds. I went to Johnny after I spent months getting physical therapy for a very mild shoulder strain at a popular (read: overcrowded) clinic I won’t name. Like, this clinic treats its patients like a factory farm with the worst customer service. I figured, “well, I guess that’s NYC for you.” Months went by and my shoulder had barely improved. So I was looking for a chiro for a separate issue near my office and found Dr. Johnny with all these stellar reviews. I decided to give him a shot. WHOA! The man actually listens to you and does focused work. He’s not just going through the motions (looking at you, Unnamed Clinic), he adjusts your treatment based on what you need.. Could not believe I found a legit holistic sports injury healer in the middle of this crazy city! He’s also super nice which is such a respite during a hectic workday. In maybe a month of work with him we cleared up all of my shoulder issues. As soon as this quarantine lifts I am returning ASAP for sessions.

After playing sports all of my life from a kid through college (former D1 Tennis & D1/D2 Rugby) and into my adult life, it’s safe to say that I’ve been through my fair share of injuries, pulls, breaks & subsequent surgeries, surgery recoveries, and physical therapy programs. Throughout all of my years spent on the mend from whatever painful “flavor of the week” injury I was recovering from, I had been to countless Dr.’s, PT’s, and Chiropractors to help me heal. Some were good, some were OK, and some I honestly believe made it worse and question how they’re still in business. Specifically for me, my problematic areas were my lower back, my right shoulder, and my right leg (knee & foot) that took me numerous years to fully recover from. Dr. Johnny Alexander is an amazing chiropractor who has helped me over the course of 2 sessions to remedy shoulder pain, upper back pain, and knee pain that I've had for years. He also helped me with another issue regarding rescheduling. But let's get into specifics first. If you're interested in becoming a patient for Warrior Chiropractic, go online to their website, and fill out the intake form. It can be a bit lengthy so make sure to have the time. Dr. Alexander uses that information to help formulate the right treatment plan for your body. When you come in for your first appointment, again, he's centered on what is ailing you and how to correct it. The sessions are about 45 to 60 minutes long, and he focuses on keeping you relaxed and getting rid of knots or trigger points in your myofascial tissue and muscles. After the first session, I felt so much lighter and that night slept so soundly - the first in months. The second session he inquired what was ailing me again - you see, in my opinion, he's like the mechanic, and he's trying to figure out what's the problem with the car (your body). When you tell him, be specific - it helps him so much. I told him my upper back pain was gone, as was the shoulder pain. The knee pain was not. We focused on that, and he surprised me with hip/quad/hamstring stretches that significantly reduced the pain to practically nothing. At the end of the session, he gave me a treatment regime to do at home. Note: if you don't have a foam roller, get one - it helps SO MUCH. I was supposed to have my third session today (I really need it) however, I had to reschedule. I immediately let him know, and he was very understanding, and professional, and we were able to reschedule my appointment. I really do appreciate everything Dr. Alexander does, and I know that I've found the right chiropractor for me. He's professional, but relatable, someone who is able to ease your mind about the process and get you on the path of being the Weekend Warrior that you are!

I never believed in chiropractic health until that was my last option before listening to my orthopedic and taking medication every day to help with chronic back/neck/shoulder pain from being an athlete and dealing with injuries. I've been seeing Dr. Johnny for 2 years now consistently and I've never felt better. I am able to manage stress more easily and I know when I'm overdue for an appointment (the black cupping marks from those sessions are a good visual reminder - ha). My favorite part of my appointments are the 20 or so minutes of cupping all over my back and shoulders that help pinpoint stress areas that flare up from time to time. In addition to helping me manage and relieve pain - I continued to see him all throughout my pregnancy (I was REALLY worried about the back pain that I had heard comes with pregnancy as someone who already experienced a decent level of that pain) and I felt AMAZING because of it. I continued with my weekly appointments and cupping sessions and I didn't feel any added pain or stress on my hips or back until I was about 36/37 weeks along (and that was my fault as I'm a notorious "overdoer"). Highly recommend taking chiropractic health seriously and visiting Dr. Johnny if you're in the area! (And even if you're not - he's worth the trip.) He provides a level of care both during appointments and outside of them that is unmatched to other health professionals and it is so very appreciated.
