Best back support in NYC! I pulled my lower back 7 days ago. I normally try to do my own stretches and massages and patiently wait for it to work itself out. I got a herniated disc in my back a few months ago lifting something heavy. This process of healing has been nothing short of hell and misery. I've met some awful doctors along the way that don't care, hurt me further physically or both, but dr justin lewis is not one of them. He's one of the only people that has been honest, genuine, and helpful from the beginning. He actually listens, gives feedback, and helps my back feel better. Kit at the reception is also very sweet. I was the PT receptionist for six months and have to say this was one of the best places I've ever worked. It was my first job working in a medical office and Sam and Dr. Lewis were very patient training me. Dr. Lewis consistently made sure I was doing OK during the first few weeks on my own and was always happy to answer my questions, no matter how minor and how many times I asked. Jae is the acupuncturist on site (2 days a week), and you couldn't hope to meet a kinder and funnier person. Sabrina and Ethan are so sweet and knowledgeable and add to the charm of the place. There was always lots of laughs and a good atmosphere overall. Personal circumstances beyond my control forced me to leave which is unfortunate because it was a great place to work. Lastly, for patients who say he didn't spend time on you, consider yourselves lucky! That means you are in great health with good posture and alignment and aren't in need of a lot of manipulation. I'm not a doctor (nor do I play one on TV, har har), this is based on my experience with a chiropractor I saw for 7 years prior to working for Dr. Lewis. I will miss the office, the team and the regulars and wish everyone the best of everything.

I am a novice to chiropractic treatments and sensing my trepidation, Doctor Lewis made sure to talk me through each adjustment. I just want to start off by saying I don’t normally write reviews. But I am compelled to write one because it’s unbelievable that with just 2 visits I am already seeing improvements in my posture and pain relief. I was in a car accident in September , some herniated and bulging discs, I have a pinched nerve in my neck that effects mainly my right arm. Also, Sciatica was triggered from this and I have muscle spasms as well. I have been seeing all types of doctors for months. No one really listened to me & would make it seem like my pains were minor. I am 26 years old & I never had any injuries or accidents. This car accident effected both my physical and mental health dramatically. I have been in pain everyday since & have not gotten a full 8 hours of comfortable sleep. I was told not to work out and within a few months I had dramatic muscle loss. I was never in top shape but I was always pretty toned especially in my legs & glutes. Since the accident my legs and glutes have weakened dramatically. I am into holistic recovery & trying to go that route before considering anything else. I was seeing a Chiro for months and I would feel temp relief. Justin took his time to massage certain areas and understands how everything is connected and effects other problems in the body. He reassured me that I in-fact can get my muscles back to where they used to be. I am excited for my recovery Journey and now have some faith and hope to recover without surgery and havent felt this good in months. With just 2 vists!! I am shocked. Seriously.

Well what can i say, from the welcome to the goodbye everything was absolutely amazing, Sabrina at the front desk was super friendly and informative and Dr. Justin took his time explaining everything to me in detail as we went through the procedures. I was hesitant at first as it was my first time, but I was put at ease instantaneously. I had a neck adjustment, best feeling in the world along with a back adjustment and electric pulses to my upper and lower back, no pain at all. I left with a smile an ice pack and a stress ball. I was referred by a co-worker at my job and I'm glad I went because I've been experiencing some pain in my neck and wrists/hands and I needed some relief (I felt temporary relief and this was super helpful). I was lucky to find Dr Lewis again after having been a patient of his a few years prior at another location. The office itself is in a very convenient area, just off the A/C/E line. It feels very open, not confining. Dr Lewis is quite personable, which makes you comfortable, since a chiropractor needs to be in your immediate, personal space for adjustments. I love Dr. Lewis. I came in because I couldn’t move my neck without extreme pain. He helped get me my mobility back in just a few short sessions, but I continued to see him long after to help improve my overall posture. He’s basically the only person I trust to adjust my neck. He has a wonderful bedside manner, is practical and realistic about what I can do outside of his office and really knows his stuff. Penelope, the receptionist, is always pleasant and easy to talk to and the facilities themselves are clean and comfortable. It also doesn’t hurt that they’re both adorable. Dr. Justin Lewis is amazing! When I first showed up I was in terrible back pain and had undergone two cortisone shots, plus MRI and x-rays, with no results. Dr. Lewis was the first medical professional who looked at me the patient, examined my issue, and came up with a treatment plan. Other providers simply did what worked for most people and didn’t spend any time on my case. Dr. Lewis even help me understand my insurance bills and showed me diagnostic providers offering the same service at a fraction of the cost (prices even within NYC hospitals vary widely). After seeing Dr. Lewis for months not only was I successfully treated, I was back running and completed a marathon.

I was referred to Dr. Lewis and couldn't be more thankful to work with him. In 3 weeks of getting adjustments I've felt a noticeable difference in years of neck and back pain. Initially, I was hesitant to see a chiropractor and Dr. Lewis eased all of my anxiety. He walked me through my x-rays and explained 'why' I was feeling the way I was (and his plan to help improve it). He knows what he's doing and genuinely cares about his patients (hard to find both in NYC when other doctors are rushing you out the door). He's empathetic and listens to all my concerns, areas of pain and is incredibly kind while doing so. In addition to the adjustment, he uses tools that you wouldn't otherwise have access to at home (i.e. chiropractic roller table, theragun, electrotherapy device etc.) and gives feedback on posture/offers individualized stretches to ease uncomfortability at home. It's evident he goes the extra mile with his patients. From a logistics perspective the office is in a convenient location (near Penn Station), it's brand new/very clean and has everything you need. He's very prompt so I've never experienced a long wait time and Dr. Lewis is flexible with scheduling. Whether you're young/old with minor/severe pain I'd highly recommend as he's wonderful to work with and I hit the jackpot finding him.

Justin was so nice and patient. He treated me for several weeks until I could finally move again and get back to my workout routine.
