Dr. Abrankian and the team are incredible. My experience here was better than any other chiropractor I've ever been too. I had lower back pain and he helped me so much. He addresses the issues in a very holistic manner. He gave me exercises to do to help strengthen my core on top of the treatments at the office and all of this helped me feel better. I was feeling less pain within a week. He is amazing!!

I highly recommend this place. I was suffering from neck and shoulder pain for years. Then it got so bad I couldn't use my right hand to clean or drive. My neck improved after a few weeks and I was able to sleep better and my headaches were reduced. My arm continued to hurt and I thought maybe I'd have to live with it. But a month later I noticed I had been using my right arm for a few days and I wasn't experiencing pain. I'm about 90% better and continue to go for maintenance. I'm grateful for such a huge improvement.

I brought my teenager to Dr Abrakian for treatment of his scoliosos and and today brought my sister for her back issues. Found Dr Abrankian on google, went there trusting the reviews and i was not wrong. In a matter of a few months my back pain went from a 9 to 1 out of 10. I just do maintenance now. He is really gentle and has great bedside manners. The young assistant (gentelman) that works there, he is a gem. They all are. Thank you Doc. Update: stopped going because i had no time, newborn in the house. Went today for an adjustment and i feel great. Going back every week now, i need it. Same great service. Thank you all.

Great experience overall. Dr Abrankian has great bedside manner, and more importantly takes his time to educate you about the human anatomy and the root cause of the problem. Office is equipped with X-ray and ultrasound so you don’t need to go and take these somewhere else and come back. Therefore you get your diagnosis at the same appointment very quickly and work on your treatment plan. Dr’s Assistant and the Receptionist are lovely too, they are kind, attentive and friendly. I am sorry I didn’t get their names as this was my first visit. Dr Abrankian followed up with texts, emails etc right after my first appointment and sent me informational videos to watch at home. I feel confident that he will be able to help me with my problems. Great experience overall, definitely recommended!

One day I missed my step while climbing at work and felt something pull in my mid back area. I ended up going to the urgent care and they said I was fine and as most urgent care doctors say “Ice it and take ibuprofen” that obviously didn’t work, so I went to check out Abrankian center and wow I’ve been getting the care I needed. Doctor knew exactly what the problem was and even suggested getting an mri after a few weeks of therapy. Turned out I had a herniated disc. I would’ve never knew where all the pain was coming from it it wasn’t for doctor abrankian. Aside from the doctor who’s been doing this for years and has a plethora of experience and knowledge. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Always greeting you when you enter and leave their office. I’m still getting treatments and I’ve noticed huge improvement in my back and beck. Dr. Abrankian and all his staff are great! The first time I went to Dr. Abrankian was about 2 years ago. It was due to shoulder pain. Dr. Abrankian performed a throughout evaluation and found out that my neck was the actual problem. I received adjustments for about 3 months and my shoulder pain has been gone ever since. Last year, I went to Dr.Abrankian again due to hip tendinitis. My hip pain was really bad and was worsening with physical therapy. Dr. Abrakian again performed a detailed evaluation and after few sessions of adjustments my hip pain started to improve immediately. Dr. Abrakian office and the equipment is always very clean and organize. It's easy to schedule and the staff is very pleasant.

Very Friendly and Professional Staff; Dr. A, is a very calm person, he will listen to your problem and create a plan to help you get better. You wont get better just by coming to one visit, this is a process and it takes time; there isn't any quick fix when it comes to our Skeletal condition but dedication and being consistent can help you achieve wonders. I am a medical practitioner, myself, so when I do write a review its because I think that the practitioner has reached a very high standard of medical care. I am also a neighborhood patient of Dr. Abrankian, so I'm thrilled that I discovered the excellent care at this medical center so close to my home. I have a long history of cervical spine issues from my work and earlier sports injuries. I have been to a number of practitioners of different modalities over the years- all with a result of moderate temporary relief. But I am pleased to say that since I became a patient of Dr. Abrankian 6 months ago, my neck issues have stabilized. I no longer have chronic pain that keeps me awake at night. The chronic upper back tension is vastly improved and the radiating neuropathy down my arms is gone. I have a long driving commute for my job that exacerbates my neck issues and, incredibly, my treatment program has taken me out of chronic pain. I had no idea how much I had adapted to this issue, and now that I don't have this kind of pain, I'm now able to work with the Dr. and his staff to strengthen my neck and back and retrain my posture. I keep improving. It's a whole plan of therapy that has taken me from two visit per week for the first two weeks, to now once a month maintenance. The staff is professional, efficient (I've never waited more than 5 minutes), and you can tell the office is a good place to work because the interactions of the staff are relaxed and supportive of patient care. They all know you by your name and take great care of the patients. Dr. Abrankian is direct, kind, and very thoughtful about his therapeutic care. He tracks his patients well and always keeps in mind your treatment plan. I have complete confidence in him. I also must say that I was used to having many gross adjustments to my spine by chiropractors. His methodology is very precise, but he has not used ballistic force on my back and I feel better than ever. He explained to me why that was not useful and productive in my case. Lastly, my insurance coverage ran out recently, but I was surprised how affordable an out of pocket visit is at this office, for this level of care. They truly treat the people. I love my neighborhood and I'm pleased that this kind of care is available to the working folks of Sunnyside.

Excellent service and treatment. I partially fractured the cartilage above my tailbone earlier this year, and found the treatment plan created by Dr. Abrankian and his staff to be extremely helpful. Those reading these reviews might have never experienced chiropractic care before or have a skepticism to this type of medical practice, but I urge you to come here if you develop a bone/joint/back problem (among others) that Dr. Abrankian would be able to address and guide you towards recovery.

I’ve worked with Dr. Abrankian through two cycles (one in spring/summer of 2018 and one in summer/fall of 2020, 6-8 adjustments in each cycle), and throughout each cycle, he was patient, compassionate, and laser focused on my misalignments. He also referred me to a phenomenal physical therapist (located on the same block) and orthopedist (also on the same block). The office crew at Dr. Abrankian’s office are responsive and punctual. Dr. Abrankian has been giving me chiropractic treatment for about 5 years and I highly recommend him for treating pain from spinal maladjustment and for regular maintenance of spinal health. I have a very serious problem of herniated discs in my neck that was causing searing nerve pain running down my arm and a loss of mobility. I went to an orthopedic office and they gave me temporary relief with an expensive steroid injection and a neck brace. I have been dealing with fibromyalgia for over 10 years. When I was first diagnosed, no one knew what it was, there was no lyrica, and no one took my pain seriously except a DR that did a round of very painful trigger point injects. They helped alleviate the pain but I continued every day still having that numb, buzzing pain all through my back. In December, the pain got worse and started affecting my energy level and moving abilities. As a preschool teacher there was no way I could keep up with my kids in such chronic pain. I started looking into chiropractics for fibromyalgia and came across Dr. Abrankian through my insurance. His website had information about fibromyalgia so I though great this guy won't treat me like others do saying fibromyalgia is just a "bucket" diagnosis. Getting an appointment was quick and easy and the flexible office hours are amazing for someone who works full time. After a very thorough exam, I was expecting to get trigger point injects. Dr Abrankian took the time to explain to me that chiropractics is different than pain management. If pain management is what I'm looking for, he can provide referrals, but suggested giving chiropractics a chance. Weighing the options of more painful injections or chiropractics, I chose the latter and I'm so glad I did. After only 2 months of treatment, I see huge results. That dull buzzing pain I've learned to ignore and push though for 10 years is practically completely gone, my energy levels are returning, and I can keep up with my kids! And the treatment is definitely more pleasant than injections. The office team is also very pleasant always greeting you with a welcoming smile and knowing everyone by name. Anyone suffering from fibromyalgia should definitely give Abrankian back and neck center a try!

The staff is very pleasant from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out! They were able to help get rid of the mid/upper back pain that I was having for over 5 years due to poor posture (from years of video gaming) and standing incorrectly for long periods of time (due to standing for long hours at work). I was hesitant at first to see a Chiropractor since there are a lot of bad ones (based on the research I've done on the internet) that just have you coming in for long periods without actually fixing you're problem. Even though this is my first chiropractor, I feel like I was in great hands! Both Dr. Abrankian (main MD) and Dr. Aliberti (his assistant) actually listen to you and want to help you get into better shape! The adjustments are catered to your needs (depending on location of pain and what the X-rays show) and they have you do exercises in the office, making sure you're are doing them right! They also give you reading "assignments" which you really should read since it explains every aspect about chiropractic care and educates you about your health and what you need to do to better help yourself. It would be a disservice to yourself if you didn't. That being said, there is more to the picture than just chiropractic care. You have to do exercises at home/gym, really pay attention to your body, change bad habits, and practice what they teach you in the office. If you go in expecting them to "magically" fix you without putting any effort yourself, you're going to have a bad time.

Used to go here a few years ago. Staffs are nice and helpful but they’re way too pushy about scheduling on their terms, like visiting every open day is absolutely mandatory.
