I have had a pinched nerve in my neck for some time and it started to effect my hands not being able pick up a cup. I went to Long Hollow Chiropractic and all staff members were very sweet, professional and helpful. Dr. Koester took x-rays, identified some issues, explained them very well to me and began therapy on me with roller table that releases tension on the muscles attached to the spine. That allowed my spine to accept the adjustment that was made following. I am so Blessed to be able to receive chiropractic care at Long Hollow Chiropractic.

When you walk in the door you are greeted with a smile every time. The Ladies at the front desk always ask “how is your day” or “how are you today”. I have never waited more than a minute or so to be taken back to get the appointment started. This group is very cognizant of your time and they make this place run like a well oiled machine. I am a new patient at Long Hollow, only a few sessions. I initially decided to try them out based on there location and good reviews. It did not take long to realize, I love this place. Everyone is so personable and the chiropractor is great. I have terrible back pain, frequent headache, carpal tunnel syndrome and indigestion. After my first appointment, I immediately noticed an improvement in my indigestion which was acting up during my visit. I have only been a few times but have already noticed my headaches are no longer daily, indigestion is much less frequent and my hand hasn’t been falling asleep at night. I love that I have not been pressured to commit to a long term expensive improvement plan like most chiropractor’s do. I highly recommend this place!

After years of neck and upper back issues, I had tried everything to relieve the pain, from Cortisone shots in my spine to physical therapy and other chiropractors. I had a pinched nerve in my neck/upper back area that was causing me a lot of pain and discomfort. I called Long Hollow Chiropractic and they got me in very quickly, did a thorough checkup to determine what the actual issue was and started treatment. Even after my first adjustment I started feeling better. After combining deep tissue massage with the chiropractic adjustments, the pain and tingling went away. I was hurting from my neck, into my shoulder, right arm, all the way down to my fingers. I now go for maintenance sessions along with the deep tissue massage. I have more energy and feel much better than I did before, even before the pinched nerve. Everyone from Kelly who is the chiropractic assistant, to Maggie who does the deep tissue massage and Dr. Steve have taken great care of me and are concerned about my health and well-being.

I suffered for MONTHS in so much pain I literally couldn’t walk. 3 months of physical therapy and weekly pain blocking injections at a spine specialist who said my only relief would be surgery. A friend told me about Dr Koester and I was more than willing to try him. He saved me! Within a month I was back to walking on my own, being able to take care of myself, and putting my own shoes on. You don’t realize how much the little things matter until you can’t do them. Im still going weekly and it’s been almost 2 months now and I’m even wearing heels again! He’s very gentle and listens to you when you tell him what’s hurting. I have RA and my joints can’t handle much force and I’ve never come out in pain after seeing him. I wish I had come here sooner! I'm always skeptical about nearly everything, even when I understand what I'm dealing with. It took me 2 years of dealing with back pain to realize my best option was the chiropractor (I didn't like the idea of a doctor cutting me open or pumping me full of medicine). I'm glad I came to Long Hollow Chiropractic! The worst of my paralyzing pain was gone in a couple of days and within a few weeks I was cautiously doing most everything I needed to do. It took a few months to get to the point of feeling relatively normal. Though it takes time to get your spine back into its optimal position it is way better than spending the rest of your life in pain or getting shots or even worse, surgery. Trust chiropractic, it works!
