I've been in chiropractic care for the past five years, but I have not seen as much progress in my healing as I have in the two to three months that I have been under Dr. Iris' care. The office has such a welcoming vibe - from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. Autumn and Raphaella are absolutely wonderful with their customer service, always taking the time to check in with each individual patient when they arrive, see how they're doing, and clearly explaining every exercise and detail of the patient's care, financial options, etc. Dr. Iris is incredibly thorough in her care, engaging in thoughtful conversation with the patient to explain what she's doing and why. As I previously mentioned, I've been in chiropractic care for five years - but until seeing Dr. Iris, I was oblivious to what was going on in my body. Dr. Iris makes sure that is not the case when you see her. She thoroughly explained the details of my x-rays to me early on in my time seeing her - and explained how we would be correcting what we saw, and painting a picture of what we want those x-rays to look like as we progress. I also see Kara for monthly massages. She is amazing and thorough, tailoring each individual massage to the patient and what they need on that day. On top of that, her music choice is incredibly mindful - really allowing for patients to relax into a meditative state of mind. She offers reasonably priced 60 minute and 90 minute massages, you can't go wrong with either. On top of chiropractic care and massages, Halo Chiropractic offers acupuncture, energy healing, and sound baths. The office is conveniently located in Hollywood, with ample free parking in the back of the building. Overall, I can't say enough great things about Halo Chiropractic and I highly recommend all of their many services to whoever may be interested.

She is unspeakably gifted in her art of healing and has enough warmth and wherewithal to rehabilitate and restore any form of damage you could be carrying around with you. My myofascial therapist sensed something off about my neck curvature so she referred me to Halo Chiropractic. Halo Chiropractic is a one stop shop to wellness. I discovered Dr. Iris via a referral and I am so happy I booked an appointment. I call Halo my "Happy Place". It doesn't matter how stressed I am, I always feel better when I leave Halo. I get my adjustment and then I do a Sound Bath meditation. They also offer massage and acupuncture. I started seeing Iris in 2016 when i moved here to Hollywood, she came highly recommended. Iris ALWAYS got me out of any type of pain that i was suffering from... stress, car accident, falls, frozen shoulder, migraines, just anything! When covid hit, i stopped going.... but now i'm back and have been doing a succession of treatments to get me out of migraine mode, to reset/re-boot and get rooted. Her office is welcoming, healing and pleasant, just beautiful. Crystals, sound bath bells, essential oils, teas, water, flat screens with waterfalls and peaceful scenes play in each room, positive affirmations placed here and there... the back room has sunlight coming through the windows and holds various stretching and healing modalities... I also get my massages done here by Kara!! AMAZING like Iris, Kara is technically great at what she does and also very intuitive, natural healing energy and relieves the pain and stuck emotions/stress in my body. Next i'll be trying the Acupuncture. Bottom line is... Iris gets me out of pain in a loving spa like atmosphere. Dr Iris is great and I love her technique, but her practice is out of network. She does not take insurance and most insurance companies will not reimburse you depending on what your out of network deductible is. (Keeping in mind I have great insurance with Blue Cross.) Overall, she is amazing, but I do not recommend if you are on a strict budget and not willing to pay out of pocket.

This review is long overdue but a recent appointment made me realize how much I needed to leave a review for Dr. Iris. I started seeing her a few months ago because I was dealing with lots of back pain. Within weeks of seeing her consistently the pain had basically vanished and I was feeling amazing. I ended up throwing my back out recently from exercising/overworking myself. When I went in to see her I was barely able to walk and she took so much time with me to make sure I was okay. Dr. Iris has saved my life—twice! I have scoliosis, have been in various accidents, and a super bendy spine that just loves to get twisted when I am stressed out. I have to say, Dr. Iris (and Dr. Christina), and Halo Chiropractic rocks. I have lived with limited mobility and insane pain for 18 months, having done physical therapy, massage, acupuncture with little resolution. Found Halo on Yelp, and have been coming weekly for months now, and feeling better and better as we go. In addition to the adjustments, they offer free classes, chair massages (in addition to real massage sessions too), and holistic health advice. I'm so relaxed here that I go in the treatment room, lay on the adjustment table, and can be almost asleep in minutes. I don't even sleep like that at home. I'm in the maintenance phase now, one adjustment a week, and feeling so much better. Thank you Dr. Iris, for giving me a good chunk of my life back.

I started going to halo chiropractor for sciatic nerve pain and back spasms. I have only had two sports massage sessions with Mariel and I feel great! Mariel is very talented and knows a great deal about sports injuries. She is very good at massage and is also enthusiastic about her work and makes patients feel positive about their recovery. For the first time in one year I feel like I can beat this! I highly recommend Mariel to all clients. I must warn you though, you will become addicted to her massages!
