I highly recommend Dr. Wade at Chiropractic Health Center of Glastonbury. From the very first visit to completion of my plan, Dr. Wade has always taken the time to walk me through the entire process, answer all my questions and explained to me exactly what was causing my pain. He has helped significantly reduce my neck and back pain overall and instructed me how to do certain exercises that has been extremely beneficial to my recovery. I came to see Dr. Keith Wade while simultaneously working with my PT at Body in Motion. I was working towards addressing neck pain and scapula disfunction on my right side. At this point, I had made pretty good progress in terms of reducing pain via PT, but it still seemed like there were some restrictions and my progress was beginning to plateau. This is where Dr. Keith Wade came in. We took x-rays at my first visit and to my surprise, it was found that I had moderate scoliosis that tilted towards my right shoulder. Dr. Wade recommended that I undergo an intensive 10-week program of Chiro adjustments to try and correct some of the curvature. I was a bit skeptical at first, as this was a big time commitment and I wasn't exactly sure how it worked. Fortunately, the team put on an educational series before starting the work so I understood why/how this intensive program would be effective. The office was also extremely flexible when it came to scheduling, making it much less of a burden as I initially thought. I recently completed by 10-week program and felt that my upper back became much looser feeling and noticed that my posture had improved as well. When we reviewed the final x-rays, my scoliosis had reduced from 16 degrees to just 6 degrees! I was extremely impressed with that progress. The best part is that after the intensive treatment, that phase is no longer required to "hold" things in place. My spinal alignment should remain in a better position and I can continue to see Dr. Wade on a regular but much less frequent basis or just as needed. This is so much more efficient than traditional Chiro care requiring you to come back week after week seemingly forever without meaningful results. I would highly recommend Dr. Keith Wade and the Chiropractic Health Center of Glastonbury!

Dr Wade was able to heal my severely injured back within a 3 month period. Initially and in the first weeks adjustments were not capable due to the severe pain i was in. After xrays it was confirmed i had a slipped disc condition in lower spine l5 and hip impigement which was healed after approx 3 months of a chiropractic adjustment treatment program that Dr wade had issued. I also have scoliosis in upper spine which was reduced. It takes time but the treatment by Dr wade has worked for me and i would recommend this practice to anyone suffering from back ailment or injury. Thank you Dr wade and everyone at the office. My whole family goes to Chiropractic Health Center of Glastonbury. Dr. Wade is great. I am especially impressed because in the first visit, an x-ray of my spine was taken in order to determine if any problems exist. Then, after reviewing the x-ray(s) the doctor goes into detail explaining if/how they can help. We are more than pleased with the services. My other half has been getting adjustments with this group for years and he has been the driving force for the family to get checked out. Dr Wade has been amazing! I have always been skeptical of chiropractors. In speaking with a friend who knew how badly I was struggling with upper and lower back pain, she recommended Dr Wade... and boy am I glad I gave him a chance. I have many back and neck issues from many different injuries and I am a migraine sufferer. Since starting with Dr Wade, not only have my migraines become much less frequent, my range of motion in my neck has improved as has the pain in my lower back. I even sleep better and wake up less achy. What I especially appreciate is Dr Wade takes the time to explain body mechanics and its impact on the musculoskeletal system and how to think through and modify your movements to prevent further injury. I have been having back issues for several years. My most recent reinjury happened in September 2017. It improved over time, but every time I would lean or bend forward, I had a sense that my back was unstable. I visited Dr Defrancesco at Chiropractic Health Center of Glastonbury in November of 2018. He did an assessment and had me on a schedule of adjustments 3x/week for 10 weeks. At about the midpoint, I was in AGONY...but he explained to me that the adjustments were getting my back moving in a more flexible way, and to stick it out. So I did, and by the 10 week mark, my back felt better than it has in years. Finally I could bend forward and NOT feel like my back will pop or give out. I have been able to add some activity back into my life, including running, rowing, and dumbbell weighted exercises. Fast forward to January 2023. My sweet spot is an adjustment every 3 weeks. This keeps me mobile and out of trouble. Every visit to Dr D, from the beginning to now, is always personable. He connects with you and genuinely cares about you. Through the past several years of my highs and lows with activity, he has consistently been encouraging. He gives you that gentle nudge to get back into activity but never ever in a judgmental way. He is one of a kind. The staff at Chiropractic Health Center of Glastonbury is wonderful. They take time to get to know you, personally. They all always have a smile to greet you with, and they are genuinely concerned for your comfort and well being. Dr Defrancesco truly wants to make sure you understand your issues with your body, and he takes time to explain what those are. I highly recommend giving this office a shot. This is a lifestyle choice. Take care of your body so your body can take care of you.

I was recommended to see Dr. DeFrancesco because of an injury that I received years earlier. I had seen other chiropractors, orthopedic surgeons, neurologists, and even acupuncturists but with no relief. I just thought that I was just going to have to live with this chronic pain the rest of my life. But, because my friend was so insistent that I give Dr. D. a try, I did. He was just so friendly and positive I felt comfortable with him. He adjusted me and for the first time in 5 years I had some relief. I couldn’t believe it! I had given up hope but he restored my hope that I would be able live without total pain. I have been going to him for about 3 years now and I walk out feeling better. My injury is permanent but he gives me the pain relief that I need to keep moving. He also genuinely cares for his patients. He has helped me with my diet so that I would have less inflammation in my joints. I truly trust him and consider him a great friend. I have 5 grown kids, 3 with spouses, and 5 grandkids and my wife and they are all patients of Dr. D. I trust him with my whole family and you can to. My family doesn’t have chronic pain but they needed minor adjustments and everyone of them felt better after seeing him and continue to do so. I started going to Dr.Pat about 3 years ago on the recommendation of my father. I had seen other chiropractors in the past, however they never addressed the actual issues with my back and spine. Rather they’d just adjust me every so often. Dr.Pat on the other hand, addressed the issues by designing a regiment of treatment and adjustments that ultimately gave me more movement in my back and body overall. Since then, I’ve been seeing him once a month to be adjusted and to keep my back and spine healthy. Dr.Pat is a great doctor who cares about all his patients. I've been a patient for more than 30 years. The care provided by Dr. D and his staff have done wonders for my cervical and lumbar back problems. From the preliminary X-rays to get a clear and accurate picture of what is going on and where, to the time Dr. Wade took at each appointment to hear where my pain was and helped work through it. I learned so much about spinal health and it’s connection to overall health ON TOP OF being relieved of my pain. We went from an 11degree scoliosis curvature and reversed neck angle (cell phone neck) to a 4degree curve and improved neck angle in 10 weeks. No surgery or crazy amounts of PT. I was seeing a different chiropractor who retired and had not been seeing anyone for several years. Dr. Pat DeFrancesco came highly recommended by my coworker and my dad (who is disabled) began seeing him while I was pregnant with my first child. Then I had my daughter and shortly thereafter started experiencing back spasms and pain. I have been seeing Dr. Pat for almost 4 years now and I do not regret it. Shortly after seeing him, my back spasms stopped. I continue to see him on a monthly basis to maintain my back and can tell from visit to visit when I need an adjustment due to his expertise. I’ve recently had a second child and have experienced the back spasms again. Dr. Pat was prompt in taking me in and setting up a plan to handle my pain. He is always willing to make sure you are seen when you need it. Since first seeing him, my whole family has started to as well - parents, siblings and their spouses, nieces and nephews as well as my husband and children. My husband does a lot of manual labor for his job and Dr. Pat has been helping maintain his strong and healthy back given the nature of his work. My children have been seeing him since they were at least a month old (maybe even younger). He is very gentle and caring with them and ensures to check for physical signs of other problems they may have when they’re older (like scoliosis). I trust him implicitly with them. Dr. Pat is friendly, courteous, thoughtful, and caring. He not only cares about your all around health (and encourages you to try different things to stay healthy), but he cares about what is going on in your life in general. I have been a patient of the Chiropractic Health Center of Glastonbury for over 20 years. The staff are always caring and compassionate, which makes me feel relaxed and that I am in a haven safely away from the days’ trials and tribulations. Dr. Patrick DeFrancesco is simply a miracle worker. I had suffered with back and spine pain from the time when I was in my early twenties. For a while, I could manage and live with it, but as the years went on the pain began managing me. I consulted with two different spine surgeons and they suggested surgery, but with a caution that they were not very confident about what the results might be. Then I saw Dr. D and everything changed. The days of taking over-the-counter pills to numb the pain ceased; I began again to enjoy hiking, dancing, swimming and water skiing; activities that I had to give up for years because of the pain. There are simply not enough great things that I can say about Dr. Patrick DeFrancesco and the staff of the Chiropractic Health Center of Glastonbury.

During each session, he gave me tips on faster healing and lifestyle changes I could make to help in the future. I’ve been going to this clinic for several months now. My primary care physician is Dr. Wade, however I’ve been adjusted by all three doctors. All of them are highly knowledgeable and very skilled at what they do. If you are in fact in pain or having back issues they will set you right. It is his help that has allowed me to continue to be able to go to work every day and continue to provide for my family. Sometimes I get held or work a double and have to reschedule last minute. My Husband who is disabled and can’t drive started seeing Dr. DeFrancesco for his chronic pain. I would go with him and sit in the room while Dr. D. adjusted him and see how much better he would be afterwards. I suffer from gi issues and was in pain from severe esophageal spasms multiple times a day for more than a year. Things were so bad I had to take a medical leave from work and my doctors were saying the only thing left to try to help me was to remove my esophagus! Not wanting to take that drastic step I did some research on my own and found some articles stating that chiropractic can improve GI issues. I have several close friends who go to Dr. D and highly recommended him. I started seeing Dr D in December. When I met with him to review my xrays he told me that I had two different problem areas in my spine that could be causing my issues and that he thought he could help me. Dec. 2021 Update: I have been treated by Dr. DeFrancesco since 2017 after Dr. Woodbury’s departure. I can say being able to incorporate this treatment as part of my routine has truly helped improve and maintain my health many times over. Dr. D’s intuition and ability to note minute issues in posture is amazing. He could spot the majority of misalignments within a second or two of entering the room. His team is always efficient and courteous, the environment is beautifully designed for the most pleasant experience. For anyone who has been skeptical about chiropractics as part of your health regiment, I would give Dr. DeFrancesco’s practice a couple months’ chance. Each session is only minutes of your life, parking is easy. But you’ll walk out being retuned and ready for your favorite workout or whatever awaits you. 2016: I have been treated by Dr. Heather Woodbury now for almost 3 months for degenerative back conditions that I've had most of the last four decades. While keeping in shape had kept me mobile, I was in desperate need of a better solution than still being in pain and or high levels of discomfort 24/7. I can say that this first chiropractic experience of mine had not only provided me with immediate pain relief, it also promoted a high sense of wellbeing that anyone in such discomfort would need. After an intensive first 10 weeks of adjustments, I opted for continuation with slightly less frequency as I am a true believer of giving it my best effort. After all, this many years of problems can't be fixed or maintained in the matter of 30 visits. I can now see that chiropractic treatment may well be a part of my life permanently in order for me to achieve the quality of life I would like. Each appointment had always been right on time. I have never had to wait more than a minute, rare to feel that my time is as valuable as anyone's. I recently completed an initial care program at the Chiropractic Health Center of Glastonbury. I had been struggling with terrible back and neck pain for approximately 2 years and was extremely frustrated. Because of Cardiac issues I was not able to take various classes of drugs such as NSAIDs and was limited to taking Tylenol which basically did nothing for my pain. I went to see Dr. DeFrancesco for a frozen and painful shoulder. He took x-rays and determined I was having some spinal issues and suggested we work on the spine and the shoulder to relieve my issue. I did not want traditional therapy of MRI's, steroid shots or surgery so I was willing to give Chiropractic therapy a try. It took a while, but with patience and determination we got there. February 2014 I have come back to update my review, below you can still read my review from March 2013. I have since been seeing Dr. D because Dr. Jamie went out on maternity leave and I have to say that at 1st I was kind of scared because it took me a while to get comfortable with Dr. Jamie so I waited initially to make an appointment but finally did. I have to say that Dr D is great as well, he took the time to understand my problems and offered helpful tips and stretches to reduce the pain i have been experiencing due to muscle tightness in my back. Dr. D and his team creates and atmosphere where you feel comfortable and you know that the team really cares about your well being. I can tell that Dr D. does his job not because he has to but because he truly believe in giving back and helping others. I have been going to this office religiously for over a year and I can't imagine where I would be without them. If you're in pain the worst thing you can do is wait around for it to get worse because you are skeptical of the chiropractor. Dr D.'s office is the place for you to be! March 2013 Prior to seeing Dr. Jamie I was terrified of going to the chiropractor due to a bad experience when I was younger. I was recommended to Dr. D by a co-worker and told that he is very gentle and that he has even dealt with kids. When I was finally in enough pain to push myself to make an appointment I was scheduled with Dr. Jamie. After my initial visit I had the choice to choose between Dr. Jamie and Dr. D and I was kind of unsure because my co-worker told me Dr. D was great and that's why I made the appointment . But after seeing Dr. Jamie for the initial visit I wanted to give her a chance and she was absolutely amazing with my phobia of the chiropractor and in no time had me feeling relief of my constant pain. She was very patience with me and made me feel comfortable at all times. The overall environment and atmosphere of the office is amazing! I've been really very satisfied.Already have referred others.

I just completed my 10 week program with Dr. D after 3 years of much persuasion from my boyfriend who's been seeing him for years along with his whole family- and much resistance on my end. What's crazy is I didn't realize how sever my situation was. After 2 horrible car accidents I had some serious whip lash and my neck was MESSED up- curving in the opposite direction of what is considered to be healthy. Growing up with moderate scoliosis and sleeping on the worst pillow ever, I would never sleep through the night. After seeing Dr. D I now sleep better and deeper and my spines flexibility has improved. The best part? I used to wake up with chronic stomach aches for 2 years or more, and now that we've worked towards lengthening and straightening my spine (reducing the amount of pressure on the nerves in my spinal chord) those stomach aches have become much less sever and I don't wake up with nausea. After every visit you can physically feel your blood flow improving and you leave feeling euphoric with immediate pain relief. 10/10 would recommend chiropractic care to those who believe it will help them, but don't just go to any one- go to Dr. D. I wish I started sooner. Oh and their whole staff is super cute and sweet :)

Dr. D. FIXED me when I came in with so much pain I could barely walk after a car accident. He is gentle with neck adjustments, seriously effective on the whole integrated body adjustments. I went 3x a week until the need came down to weekly adjustments. The office staff does not pressure you into a next appointment. I was extremely skeptical about seeing a Chiropractor, as I had never needed treatment for my back, and the thought of being "adjusted" worried me. Then, I was rear-ended in early March, 2017, and, despite the fact that I felt fine immediately after the accident, three weeks later I couldn't move my head left or right. I ate as many Ibuprofen tabs as I could and realized that I needed to see a Chiropractor. My boss had been seeing Dr. DeFrancesco for years and I knew that he was very happy with his treatment; so, I asked him to please refer me. It was the best move that I could have made. Dr. D agreed to see me immediately. He took an x-ray and showed me that the Nos.5, 6 & 7 disks at the top of my spine were almost fused together, without the critical spatial openings that should be between them - I was in tough shape and felt like I was 90 years old. For the past month, I've been going through an intensive plan that Dr. D developed specifically for my problem - 3 adjustments a week for 10 weeks, with deep tissue massage at least once a week - the massage is critical to rework the muscles which protect the vertebrae, to get those muscles trained to allow the change and to become part of the overall adjustment. The job that Dr. D has done for me has been absolutely amazing - I can move my head now and the shooting nerve pain I was experiencing daily is gone. I now know that my problem is on its way to being fixed for good, without having to have surgery and ingest lots of pain killers. In fact, I'm playing golf again and looking forward to playing at St. Andrews in June. None of that would be possible without Dr. D's help - he''s absolutely the best! I also, have to give a big shout-out to Dr. D's partner, Dr. Heather Woodbury - also excellent, and Amy, Lauren and Weat. I've never seen so many great people located in the same geographical location. Many thanks to all of you!!

Dr. Pat is a high energy and engaging person. You will immediately like the man. His intelligence is obvious both clinically and as the head of his well run practice. Amy and Casey are both lovely young ladies and very competent. The evaluation of your problem and recommended treatment is thoroughly and clearly explained by Dr. Pat. During treatment he will ask you questions to make sure you understand what your problem is and why he is performing the treatment in the manner he is. Upon completion of the treatment Dr. Pat will perform another evaluation. I felt much better after the initial treatments but still had some minor issues. In my particular case we could see definite improvement via 'before and after' Xrays. However, I required extra treatments as my condition has been difficult to correct completely. I have 100% confidence that Dr. Pat had only my well being in mind when he recommended the extra treatments. I am so pleased with Dr. Pat, Amy and Casey that when my wife developed a back issue I insisted she go to see them. She is currently about halfway through her treatment and has felt a big improvement. I highly recommend the Chiropractic Health Center of Glastonbury. First off i want to say this was honestly the most impactful procedure in my life to me this was very important and has been delt with professionally. I canr argue enough that im very glad that i took care of this asap. What i came in for was my back and neck pain. Mind you im 21 years old and been an athlete almost my whole life. While playing contact sport there was hits here and there obviously. Played football for about 14 years straight never missed a season. Right after highschool getting into a labor work environment i started feeling pain and sluggish. I woke uo with pain i never felt before. One day i was like this is’nt right im 21 and athletic. If you really think about it every time i got hit or hit someone your body does shift a bit and what makes it worse it that right after you go home and just rest so your body forms into ways that maybe its not supposed to form in a correct way. But all i do know is that this treatment really did help and im back to where i felt before i honestly recommend dealing with Dr.D and his staff honestly a welcoming and homey environment. Thank Dr.D i really appreciate the help!
