I've been very impressed with Dakota Clinic of Chiropractic. Dr. Matt has listened to and taken action on all of my concerns and has figured out a game plan to help me feel better. He determines the root of the issue through both physical examination and x-ray, which is very neat to actually be able to see what is causing the pain and also see the progression throughout the treatment plan. All of the staff have been very friendly, kind, and compassionate. You can tell they truly enjoy their job and want to provide the best care for their patients. Use of the massage tables at each appointment, and the weekly motivational quotes are an added bonus.

After having both knees replaced a few years back, I started having pain in my right hip this past summer. I couldn’t bear the thought of having to endure hip surgery, so I sought the advice of Dr. Jake at the Dakota Clinic of Chiropractic. Immediately he assure me that it was likely the muscles on the inside of my legs had become weak and my hip was trying to compensate for that . He suggested I start a knee program they had developed for this exact ailment. After the very first session I had relief in my right hip. I continued to make progress and presently I have no hip pain. What I appreciate most about working with Dr. Jake was that almost every time I came in for treatment he shared tips and pointers for keeping my knees healthy. Those small suggestions made such a difference. At my age, it is likely I will always have to be conscientious of how I position my feet when I walk and keep up with the exercises he suggested, but this is certainly doable. Although I dreaded the 92 mile trip for each session, I looked forward to seeing Dr.Jake and the delightful staff at the clinic each time. What a fine, caring group of professionals they are. I plan to continue my care with them and would most certainly recommend them to anyone.

New knee, New me. That is exactly what I got at Dakota Clinic of Chiropractic PLLC. I was dealing with pain, swelling, and popping in my right knee. It was hindering my daily activities so much that I could no longer workout like I use to and even started disrupting my sleep. My husband referred me over to Dr. Matthew Christenson. Right away he narrowed in on my problem and got me on a plan to correct and heel my knee. In no time, I was back to being active and feeling amazing! Very impressed by their knowledge and dedication to getting me better. I no longer deal with pain, swelling, or popping. This is an A to Z clinic that wants to get you better and keep you there. Highly recommend these guys. I love walking into their facility as well. The staff there are always so genuine and sweet, greeting me with a smile every time. Last week I had a follow up to the neurology appointment that had taken me 4 persistent trips to a clinic to even get a referral for. I’ve dealt with chronic back pain and migraines for awhile, and more recently tingling in my limbs, which made the whole thing more scary. At the follow up I was told the one x-ray and one set of labs that I sold my soul to pay for didn’t reveal anything wrong, but I could get a refill on my pain meds or a referral to a PSYCHIATRIST if I wanted. A month prior that would have been the most discouraging, devastating conversation I could have as a scared, fairly active 26 year old. Thankfully I was able to tell them there was no need because between appointments I’d already been visiting Dr. Matt, getting real answers and an effective solution less aggressive towards my internal organs. I’m looking forward to continue progressing with my treatment with Dr. Matt and the rest of the super friendly, welcoming staff who have put my fear and anxieties of dealing with my health to rest.

Dakota Chiropractic has helped me get back to doing things I enjoy. I've been seeing Dr. Matt for 2 years now. When I first saw him he took a comprehensive medical history for reference. We then took x-rays before beginning adjustments. I was surprised and shocked at what my spine looked like. I started immediately seeing Dr. Matt 3 times a week. After about 6 months we took follow up x-rays and the results were right in front of my face. I could see and feel results. When I started I had almost zero flexibility in my spine and was taking several ibuprofen a day to function. I couldn't do my weight training and could barely walk. I'm happy to say 2 years later and I rarely take Ibuprofen anymore. I'm back to working out and bending down to tie my shoes isn't a challenge any longer. I rarely have flare ups and maintenance appointments keep it in check. In addition to Dr. Matt, the whole office staff are so genuinely nice and have been so flexible with scheduling my appointments. It makes it super easy to get in when I need to and cancel if something pops up unexpectedly. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking to improve their quality of life due to back pain.

I cannot thank Dr Matt and Dr Jake enough. I’m only 21, and I’ve mostly been brushed off by chiropractors in the past. They would treat me, but they didn’t really do much to get to the root of my problem. Being only 21, my back pain hasn’t really been taken very seriously. That changed when I came here, though. After X-rays, they discovered why I’m in so much pain (there’s very little curvature in my neck, and my lower back has issues as well). After going to the practice as directed for about a month and a half, I feel a million times better. I sleep better, I’m less tired, I feel stronger, I don’t get headaches. I never knew it was possible to feel this good. Beyond their amazing methods, everyone at the clinic is SO nice. Dr Matt and Dr Jake, as well as the ladies up front. I read a post on FB that Dr Matt of Dakota Clinic of Chiropractor could help me with my left shoulder pain. I was facing rotor cuff surgery. Well my first visit was a good review with Doc Matt. He did. Xrays and walked me through the plan of healing. He made it very clear he wasn't Jesus but he could help me move that shoulder . Well my movement in the first visit was 33%. He did special stretches and monitored his stretches. After he worked on my arm and shoulder he retested and I was a 99%. In the first visit. I'm so excited about being able to reach over my head and other movements with my shoulder that I haven't done in years. I'm on my 3rd visit and the pain went from a 10 to 4.. I'm so excited that I do believe he has great healing hands. He has a great staff. The ladies are very friendly and they make you feel very comfortable and knowing that your more relaxed. Everyone has different aches and pains and treatment. I'm very impressed with my treatment and I'm hoping that more patients try Doc Matt's healing hands. He is only of the few whom provide Gonstead method of chiropractic care but they only one whom had the reviews and education he did. Dr. Matt and Dr. Jake at Dakota Clinic of Chiropractic are amazing. I had been going to different chiropractors for years before this place opened, due to lower back pain that never got better. These guys don't do guess work just to get you in and out. The initial visit was an X-Ray to get a full view of my issues. I found out I had a bulged disk in my lower back. After only a few weeks of treatment, my lower back pain started going away. This pain had been persistent for years. Now, it is completely gone. I have seen these guys for many other things now over the years and go there routinely to ensure my sedentary job doesn't negatively impact my otherwise active lifestyle of weight lifting and jiu-jitsu. I have suffered with knee pain for about 5 years. I have had a couple surgeries on my left knee, injections, and did therapy.. I was to the point that my MD wanted to do a knee replacement. I just did not want to do that. I heard an advertisement about Dakota Clinic of Chiropratic on the internet. To make a long story short Dr Matt accepted me into the knee program. After 6 weeks I was nearly pain free in my right knee and at about 90% free of pain in my left knee. I have had 16 treatments in the clinic with only 2 more to go and have done all the home exercises and have used the Re Builder. My thought is if you follow through with the regiment... you will have results. As of today my pain is 95% less in my left knee and my right is at 98%less pain.... I want to thank Dr Matt and Dr Jake and the girls in the clinic. Friendly people....I highly recommend them!!!

Hello my name is Billy, I have had knee problems for many many years. It got to a point where I was outside on the ground on my knees and I couldn't get up.
