To tell you the truth, I was a bit skeptical about the initial simple exercises Sarah prescribed for my neck, shoulder and back pain. But after 3 weeks of intense pain that wouldn't subside, I was willing to give anything a shot. Within a few days of doing these exercises (I can't even call them exercises, they're so easy and not time consuming!), the pain was almost completely gone. Best of all, she listens and adjusts based on what my body is telling us. She treats me as an intelligent adult, explaining what she's doing and what she recommends and why. Now we're working on rebuilding my strength so the pain doesn't return. She's a miracle worker!

Thee best chiropractic care I've received in years! I was referred by a coworker d/t back, arm and chest pain. I was in a head on car accident in September 2020. I have injuries with my back, neck, shoulders and basically my entire body still hurts and I have chronic pain. I started coming to Capital Chiropractic in December 2021. After just a few visits with Corrine my back and neck are starting to feel better. My headaches are no longer every single day but once or twice a week. When I do my excersices it does help relieve the pain. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend them to anyone who has chronic pain. I look forward to continuing my care with Corrine and working with Dr. Hartley with chiropractic care. I was recovering from a running accident and was researching for a chiropractor that was in my network, specialized in sports rehabilitation, plus somewhere that was fairly close. I filled out the paperwork online, heard from the office rather quickly. My first appointment was great, Dr Chris listened to my concerns was gentle in the manipulation understanding how sore I was all over. He gave me some simple exercises to help. Each time I went back, Dr Chris and his staff were very caring about how I was feeling. I appreciate the ease of of the check in process, keeping my credit card on file for payments. I started going to Capital Chiropractic in the fall. Just when I moved into College. I have scoliosis at a pretty high curve. When I see other doctors in different fields they all try to fix my curve in one appointment. When I talked to Dr. Lo Rang about my medical conditions and situation. He sat down and listened and we talked about a good approach. He acknowledges that my curve can not be fixed to be a "normal" spine. Both Dr. Lo Rang and Dr. Hartley have been really helpful in helping me ease some pain in my life. I throughly enjoy coming here and the staff is so welcoming and nice. Its also nice that they moved closer to campus so its easier to get there.

A lot can be said about Capital Chiropractic, but I'll try my best to summarize. After years of back pain & struggle to find out what was causing my issues, I found great relief in not just the treatment, but also the expert exercises that Chris gave me to work on during gaps in appointments. I couldn't recommend this practice more, even if it was my mother. The atmosphere is relaxed, the whole staff is knowledgable & cater to your needs without assuming what they are. If you're on the fence about getting treatment, get off it because its probably uncomfortable & causing some issues that Capital Chiropractic & Rehabilitation can fix.

His sessions relieved so much strain, pain and tightness in my heel. Prior to going to Capital Chiropractic, I had seen an acupuncturists (was going 1x/week for months) and a foot specialist that gave me steroid injections in my heel and also had me in a walking boot for 6 weeks. Nothing was helping. Chris' sessions did SO much more than any other treatment I sought out. Now, two years after I stopped going to Chris (I moved to a different state), I still have NO pain in my heel. I am so thankful!

Dr. Chris was able to show me some stretches, as well as give me some tips to improve my condition. Why didn't I try this sooner???!!! I had been dealing with hip pain for 3 years before seeing Dr. Chris. Many things I tried would help for a while but once I resumed activity, I was back where I started. Dr. Chris not only worked on the immediate issue of pain, but taught me exercises to do to really get at the cause. I had been experiencing numbness and tingling in my extremities since November. My M.D. had performed test after test, ran blood work, ordered an MRI, and nothing showed up. After literally tens of thousands of dollars spent, and at the suggestion of a friend, I decided to give Dr. LoRang a try. I wasn't a huge fan of chiropractic manipulation but what did I have to lose? I loved that Chris requested my MRI records, and actually called my doctors office to speak directly with them. He assessed me and started on a course of action without manipulation as he knew I wasn't a fan. Through at exercise in office and at home, I started to see relief. After the third visit I decided to try some manipulation and WOW what a difference. I now only occasionally have tingling in my fingers and that continues to fade. I have been dealing with back problems for years before going to Chris. He came highly recommended by friends through CrossFit. I love his approach to healing versus just adjusting you and sending you on your way. Previously I was seeing a chiro up to 3 times a week and honestly the pain would never truly go away. I go to see Chris every two weeks, mostly for maintenance. I continue with stretches daily and I am able to do the lifting in CrossFit. Before I was told to stop lifting weights! The short version: Chris LoRang fixed my back and I'm confident he can help you. The long version: Chris is different than any chiropractor I've been to before. The most notable reason being he was able to fix my back and neck discomfort (that I had been dealing with for as long as I can remember and was convinced was a permanent problem) almost immediately. The next reason being that he won't try to sucker you back. I was hesitant to try another chiropractor because, in my experience, it seemed like every one I tried was more concerned about getting me back for another appointment than actually fixing my problem. But Chris actually cares about his patients and he wants to teach proper posture and body movement, so that you don't have to go back. I was a bit hesitant to go to a chiropractor because my previous experience seeing one seemed like it would be a never-ending opportunity for the chiropractor to make money off of me. Dr. LoRang is not like that, not at all. His goal was to see if he could help me and if he couldn't, refer me to someone else. His approach was unique (to me, at least) in that he didn't immediately rush to give me an adjustment. Instead he talked to me about my symptoms, asked a lot of questions, and after a lot of consult, recommended some exercises to alleviate my symptoms. I can't say enough positive things about Capital Chiropractic. When I went to see Dr. LoRang I was 9 months pregnant with a breech baby and I was also having neck pain. I had been doing exercises at home for a few months trying to get the baby to flip. After only 3 appointments with Dr. LoRang, the baby flipped! My neck pain was also completely resolved after 2 appointments. I appreciated that Dr. LoRang took the time to teach me exercises I could do at home for my neck pain and to help encourage the baby to move. He also had me go through the exercises at my appointments so he could correct my positioning, which was really helpful. The office manager, Jen, is also fantastic. She makes it easy to schedule/reschedule appointments and is very helpful with insurance questions.

Almost two years ago to the day, I came to Chris with a back injury. I have been doing Crossfit for four years and started experiencing low back pain in January of 2014. I continued to lift and workout while the pain only got worse. The pain eventually got so bad that I couldn't even pick up a barbell off the ground, which then caused interference in my daily activities/functioning as a human being. I came to Chris hoping to find some relief. Chris started working with me on stability drills, giving me homework to do at home as well. Eventually Chris recommended I start some physical therapy and he would work together on a plan with the physical therapist to get me back to normal functioning. Chris' constant support and knowledge to get me healed worked! I continued to get better and gain stability, putting me back to where I was strength wise and now even stronger! Anyone out there have Plantar Fasciitis? If you do, then you know how this slows you down, causes pain even to walk, and keeps you from physical exercise if it's bad enough. My plantar fasciitis kept me in pain for 2 years, and away from a gym for 9 months. During this time, I saw 3 chiropractors and 1 physical therapist. The point of this review is not to say I didn't find care at other facilities, as I did. However, Chris Lorang diagnosed the root problem with my pain and gave me "1 simple stretch to try 10 times a day". Skeptically, I conformed. My foot pain was reduced by 50% in 4 days. I entered the office with limp. As I shuffled toward the front desk, I was warmly greeted by the ample-bosomed-local -celebrity (jgfauxshow), Jen Morrow. Jen uses an ergonomic standup desk whilst wearing a headset to seamlessly handle the massive amount of phone calls the office receives daily. There's something beautifully rhythmic & choreographed about the check-in process with Jen that reminds me of a young Britney Spears. The complimentary apples and filtered water add to the spa-like experience. Soon, the treatment room door opened and out came zen master, Dr. Lorang, dressed in a robe and blanketed with the mind-expanding fragrance of expensive incense from the Far East. I was greeted with a firm handshake and eye contact that peered deep into my soul, assuring me everything was going to be okay. The transcendental treatment lasted somewhere between 30 seconds and 45 minutes. I can't pin it down any better. I was in another place, a place where my body was young and pliable again. Dr. Lorang used his warm, supple hands expertly has he climbed and maneuvered over my muscular frame. He wasn't intimidated at all, even with my shirt hanging from a chair in the corner and was beside himself when I insisted I wasn't a fitness model. The benefits of that first treatment have lasted for years, but I continue to go back for the apples, the Charo of reception, and the body-whispering technique of Dr. Lorang. There's also a new doctor, Andrew, providing excellent treatment out of the office. His knowledge, technique, and wisdom belies his age. He is highly recommended as well.

Attention anyone with a SPORTS injury! I had a deep sports injury to my upper left adductor muscle/tendon area. I was unable to swing my leg over the edge of my bed to get up in the mornings and was barley able to walk (or lift my leg to put on a pair of jeans...you get the picture). Dr. Chris LoRang used several techniques that he specializes in, including Active Release and Graston to get my adductor muscle, tendons, tissue (and whatever else is inside my body) to work properly again.
