He is thorough and knowledgeable with a keen attention for your care and goals. We took xrays, alignment, and ready for the next appointment. Highly recommend! A must try chiropractic experience!

I've had the pleasure of working with Dr. Shapiro for many years now through college lacrosse and now with my lower back problems! Dr. Shapiro is extremely professional and attentive, and genuinely cares about getting your body to peak performance. Being an avid cyclist and working at a desk job all day, my lower back is constantly tight and often has frequent spasms that can make it hard to move. Ever since I have been working with Dr. Shapiro on this issue, I have noticed immediate changes to the tightness and level of pain in my back. We are on a great path to health and I could not recommend him more!

I have had my fair share of Chiropractic visits over the years and nothing compares to the service and professionalism of Shapiro Family Chiropractic. Long history of back issues, the past 4 years have been constant visits to different Surgeons, DRs, PT scripts, MRIs east & west coast all trying to figure out why my pain is so chronic and what can be done to help, anytime I do activity I cant move for days. I would be in bed until the pain was manageable to move again. I have had this reoccurring issue for years and have tried every remedy and Dr. option until I was introduced to Dr. Shapiro. Shapiro is highly skilled and very understanding. When presenting him with so much back pain history, he had no hesitation when it came to assessing my state that I'm in, explain the process in which he thinks is right then assisting with my explained pain and actually takes the time to listen and work with you. Driving the right questions and principals to adjustment/corrections making sure you understand what we are working towards at all times. The program we picked out, the adjustments we perform have brought my physicals abilities back without chronic pain for days. Since being treated by Shapiro I have been able to Hike & backpack multiple miles (30), Bike regularly, and Climb in the gym again. We are working towards a better golf swing but I wouldn't able to enjoy all of these activities pain free with his guidance and recommendations. I do every exercise and listen to all feedback he has provided me and I feel he has accelerated my road to recovery. Thank you Dr. Shapiro. This is the most progress I have had in years.

Post quarentine... Dr. Dave was a necessary tie to normalcy.... or.... the routine I had before. I could count on him to actively listen, understand, and guide my route to building a functional body. Starting point: Chronic full body pain preventing comfortable sitting, standing, or laying. After a short time of adjustments, Dr. Shapiro recommended I begin adjustments 2xWeek, deep tissue massage, and daily stretching. Those hobbies collectively changed my world. After a 5 year up hill trudge and Dave's spinal mentorship....my chronic pain is almost gone. It sounds weird. But when my pain is all gone, I'll have less incentive to regularly get chiropractic care. One of my foundational weekly routines would become threatened by fun things that my body will handle. Dr. Shapiro clearly knows what he's doing and I feel very confident that he can put my body structure into optimum shape whenever I have an issue. I only started seeing Dr.Shapiro a week ago and I'm already seeing major results. For example, I run 2-3 times a week. The first run I took after seeing Dr. Shapiro was amazing. My mile time was cut short by a minute and I just felt stronger and more aligned. My stamina improved tremendously. Dr. Shapiro and his staff are very friendly, too. My first chiropractor after 40 years of holding out. Sr. Shapiro is fun and professional, and the music in his office is great! He initially helped me work out a terrible mid-back pain that I had and I've been going regularly since. The initial visit is very educational and practical and Dr. Shapiro (and his lovely staff) takes the time to make his patients feel like guests. Incidentally, he also helped my daughter work out a 2-year ongoing pain in her side that 4 other doctors hadn't been able to help her with!!! Working with Dr. Dave Shapiro has been absolutely necessary for my sports performance. I'm competing in a weightlifting competition soon and wanted to improve my health on all angles. One of my first appointments with him came just in time when I hurt my back and in the middle of a work out. I came in barely able to move or even breathe comfortably and left his office feeling at least 70% better! Now, I see him 2-3 times a week and, immediately after our session, I feel less tension in my muscles and better energy. Crazy how that works, right? My husband and I both go to Doctor Dave. He won't tell you that his way is the only way, or that he can cure anything, as many other chiropractors had told me. He is reasonable and open to finding the right healing path for each patient. He won't guilt you into anything, either. He understands the limitations of time and money, and works with you to make sure you're getting what you want. I also feel very safe with him - his adjustments are never scary. For me, I recognize how important the spine is, and that while knees and shoulders can be replaced, the spine cannot. I was committed to fixing the imbalances and have seen great improvement since starting with Dr. Dave. I look forward to my appointments with him all day because they leave me feeling so good! I fell down and had severe upper back pain, especially at night when I was lying down flat. I wasn't sleeping much due to the pain and I was gradually getting more tired every day. I'm a young 26 year old male in excellent health and I though my back would simply get better with time. My general practitioner just gave me some pain pills. However, after suffering with back pain for 4-weeks, I decided I need some expert help!. It only took two visit and less than 1-week with Shapiro Chiropractic for me to finally start feeling better. When I first started my care, I was in a great deal of daily pain doing, what I thought, was all the "right" things such as practicing yoga and getting massages to ease my body discomfort. After discovering the structural alignment that was causing my daily unease we set up a care plan to bring me back to me! I am happy to report that I am on my way! Outstanding Chiropractor! I've been to 'chiros' on and off since I was 24 and I gotta say Dr Shapiro is top notch.. He's thorough, explains the procedures, the why and the how's well. I get my back and neck adjusted by him pretty regularly, which has greatly reduced a lot of my discomfort. He even effectively adjusts my big toe which I broke at the age of 21. It healed incorrectly with bones spurs and is now arthritic. And he's quite friendly and personable too; ya know, some of them can be rather morose.

I feel very blessed to have found Dr. Shapiro. I have been struggling with a C 5-6 herniation for 15 years. I have been able to manage my symptoms fairly well with traction, exercise and ice, but during flare-ups I am flat on my back for 2-3 days and very limited for weeks after. Nearly all of the Chiropractors I have been to wouldn't touch my neck, and surgery was recommended. I found a couple of talented "quacks" over the years who were willing to adjust me, but told me that my symptoms and issues were psycho-somatic. I recently suffered the worst flare-up I have had in a decade, right before my wedding. I went to Dr. Shapiro desperate, just looking for some form of relief so that I wouldn't have to wear a neck collar when I walked down the aisle. I had accepted the probability of needing surgery soon. Not only was he able to get my symptoms under control, he was able to assess the level of my degeneration and devise a plan of care to halt further damage. I feel fantastic. I even shoveled show without ANY increase in symptoms. Praise God for Dr. Shapiro.

I was someone who had never seen a chiropractor before. I've sat at a desk for over 20 years (tech person) and although I'm an active healthy person my job has taken a toll on my spine, neck, shoulders and lower back. I am not one to habitually write reviews, but sometimes it is absolutely deserved... and Dr Shapiro (and his staff) merit this five star review. I have always had off and on back "issues", of which I attributed to playing hard physical sports. Back in February 2016, I started with severe/debilitating muscle spams... a more appropriate description would be seizing pain that left me on the floor in tears (literally). I tried physical therapy for several weeks with, unfortunately, no relief. I am a mother to two young active kids, and this debilitating pain (and the emotional frustration that comes with it), was taking away my ability to me their Mama. It broke my heart to overhear my daughter ask my husband "Is Mama ever going to be able to hold us again?". A month passed, and then a friend of mine introduced me to Dr Shapiro. To be honest, I was initially skeptical, but at this point I was willing to try anything. I started with a few adjustments and then transferred into his care program. It is now August, and *throughout* this time that I have been with Dr Shapiro, I have been and *am* a fully functioning Mama (pain free). Best part? I get to hold / pick up / play with my kids all day long :)
