The one thing I appreciate the most is how transparent the entire staff is. Whether it’s scheduling, X-rays, or at home exercises, I leave feeling like all my questions are answered. I just began going to ASSC and I have had nothing short of an amazing experience. From the cleanliness of the office, the well prepared and educated staff, to the impressive doctors - I have always felt in great care. When I first arrived, Anna led the tour and gave me a great overview of the office. I was then taken by Aminat to begin my massage. They were so incredibly helpful as it was my time going to a chiropractor. It was so amazing that I kept going back and genuinely looked forward to the treatment I was going to get each time. The staff deserves an applaud for their professionalism and dedication to their work and patients. You must stop by if you can!

I did not expect the results to be so instant but it truly has already made a difference and I’ve only been going for 3 weeks. Great Staff. All very welcoming. Went in with reoccurring low back pain and within a few visits was ~80% better. Would have given 5 stars but it does feel very rushed and assembly line-esque with the same initial treatments and adjustments done to essentially every patient. With that being said, they are good at what they do and have a system that works. Will return.

I want to thank Advanced Spine & Sports Care for the help I received in November 2022. I had four therapy sessions there, and I was quite impressed by the efficiency and friendliness of the team. The service is perfectly organized: the patient is greeted at the door and quickly checked in, and then taken immediate care of at all stages of treatment so that there is no time wasted waiting. The open floor plan and the alertness of the staff make sure that one is always looked after. I was treated by Dr. Leibovitz who was very professional, knowledgeable, and patient. She evaluated my condition, we discussed the treatment at length, and she answered all my questions. And then the actual treatment was great and it helped. The pain in my neck subsided and now I am much better. At the end of my treatment a rehab specialist Dan Hartney recommended and demonstrated a set of exercises that I find very helpful. If you're looking for a chiropractor, you've found it. ASSC is more than just a quick crack-crack-crack adjustment, then on your way until you're in bad shape again. I came in for a pinched nerve with severe neck and shoulder pain, and they didn't just fix the symptoms. Their tailored care plan (including PT and clinical massage, which they offer *in house*) has helped target underlying issues that would have kick started the issue all over again. I'm pain free and standing noticeably straighter. Plus, everyone's just super kind and accommodating. That may not seem like a necessity in a chiropractor, but you'll certainly be grateful for it when you're calling in the morning you have an appointment to reschedule because your cat's sick. I certainly was. I couldn't be more thankful to the folks at ASSC! 12/10 would recommend!

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. The staff and specialists here helped me fix some back pain that kept flaring up. You are strongly encouraged to enter an extended program to make sure everything is properly fixed (rather than just a spot fix and sending you on your way), but I found this is definitely the way to go. This was my first time at a chiropractor and it was a terrific experience! I was a little nervous, but Anna walked me through the experience and the paperwork before I came in, making it very easy. I got a little tour of the office and then I discussed my pain and activity with Dr. Schey and she talked me through how the rest of the visit would go. I was able to get an x-ray of my neck, where I’ve been having pain. Dr. Schey and I looked at the X-ray together and she gave me at-home treatments I can do. The rolling tables treatment was my favorite, but I liked the adjustment and the stimming as well. Each step was optional and was well-explained ahead of time. And I got a free hat!

When I started at ASSC in Feb. 2022, my lower back was in constant pain; there were days where I could barely make it out of bed, let alone go out into the world to do any of the activities I enjoy. After 11 months of treatment, my back now feels better than it has in years! Through regular chiro and PT appointments—as well as at home recommendations and exercises—the constant ache of pain is gone, which has done wonders for both my physical and mental well being. Dr Jason has a great establishment here. He is an excellent chiropractor , as are Dr Schey and Dr Rachel . Marcy and everyone always help keep the office business in order.. Adjustments are key to a great body balance!. I wish that I could get one daily ! Gigi gives the best massage in the city! Book early, she is amazing and thorough!! The staff is very personable and friendly, fun , responsible and engaging . The physical therapists , Lee and Dan, are always challenging and I enjoy feeling stronger at the ends of my visits . Everyone is so kind and positive! I've never been to such a full-service chiropractor/physical therapist/massage/etc office as Advanced Spine! I've been lucky enough to meet all three doctors and they're all incredibly knowledgeable and qualified. I plan to continue my treatment beyond the initial consult and first 3 sessions. 4 stars because the treatment isn't cheap. Still, I believe they're genuinely fixing the issues with my spine and not just adjusting me when I ask (like many other chiropractors in the area that I've been to).

I can't say enough nice things about AS&SC! They made making an appointment easy and I was seen so quickly. I was given a welcome gift with a card signed by the staff and a well-made beanie for those chilly days. I saw so much diversity in the staff and patients there which solidified my choice in chiropractors. I was suffering from a hamstring injury when I started at Advanced Spine and Sports Care. I was struggling run and workout at the level I wanted to because of the chronic pain. After a few weeks of appointments I feel markedly better and on the mend. I was even able to run my 10k race as planned and PR! I came in for a consultation with the hopes to heal my tennis elbow I’ve had for a year. Within seconds of walking through the front door I was welcomed with open arms. Dr. Schey and the whole team has taken care of me for the last 5 weeks. It has been easy to book appointments. They are also very knowledgeable and answer any questions or concerns I have. Update: Over the last couple months my tennis elbow is healing and feels so much better now. This is very important to me because I love weight training and I am not as restricted to movement and weight as I was prior to coming here. Update: It has been about 7-8 months since I’ve been working with my friends at ASSC. I am a bodybuilder so working out is a big part of my life. I am happy to say that my tennis elbow is now completely gone. I am no longer restricted at the gym. Symmetry is also a large part of bodybuilding. I’ve noticed I don’t have to tweak my body as much as I used to when I go up in my poses which is amazing! Many at ASSC have given me the tools and resources needed to help me maintain a healthy body. I highly recommend ASSC to anyone whether it is an adjustment or a massage. They will take care of you.

I am actually grateful it happened because they taught me the importance of regular exercise and self care. I was pain free in a few days. From my first contact at the office with Ame I felt welcome and concern for my discomfort. I have had ongoing moderate and sometimes severe back pain for several years and tried two previous chiropractors and one other insurance provided physical therapist with only temporary relief but no lasting pain improvement. I was ready for something different and having noticed a sign on the outside of the building about spinal decompression made me give this office a try. And I couldn't be happier. While I still have some level of pain there is definite improvement, but above all, everyone in the office truly has an interest in getting me lasting results. And I mean everyone.: doctors and staff. The level of customer service is unrivaled. The office is busy, however at every appointment I am greeted with a friendly smile and your treatment starts on time. Brandon and Stefany were incredibly helpful and engaging at my spinal decompression sessions and Dan in physical therapy has structured a program for me that is getting positive results. HIs attention to detail and level of expertise is fantastic. No one wants to be a forever patient but if there was a place where it was necessary this would be it!

I’m normally not one to write such a LONG review, but in this case, it’s 100% necessary and DESERVING of one. When I was 21 I was hit by a car while crossing the street. Thankfully I walked away with a few bruises, scrapes, and some major soreness. The intensity of the impact should’ve left me a lot worse than I was. That being the case, The Dr’s told me I might not feel it now, but give it 10 years…. and boy were they right! During the height of the pandemic, it started in my neck. Soreness, immobility of my neck, migraines. I finally started looking for chiropractor’s in the area, and based on the reviews, I booked a consultation. From the moment I first spoke to them on the phone, to present day, I have never experienced a health care office like this one. From the friendly welcoming staff, to the way everyone knows and remembers what’s going on in my personal life and why I’m there in the first place, it is truly like going to see my friends at this point. Friends who are helping me get relief :) Aside from just having a great staff, they are all extremely knowledgeable about what each other offer, and being able to direct you to Try trigger point, or maybe incorporating a massage into your alignments. In terms of my treatment I’ve moved a lot faster than the timeline they laid out. I can feel the clicking in my neck move with every session, which means it’s healing (trust me I asked if that’s a good thing!) But everything from the alignments, the trigger point, the massage, and suggestions & exercises to do in between and at home has been superb! I haven’t started PT yet, but I can only imagine it will continue to strengthen what brought me there in the first place. It’s been about 2 months, and as I sit here and write this, I can’t believe the difference in how my neck feels now versus then. I’m actually having quite the epiphany writing this all out. If you’re looking for a chiropractic service, please do yourself a favor and go see my friends here. They will make you feel warm and welcome, and start fixing you up on your very first visit. I couldn’t be happier to write this review, especially if it helps anyone else out there find the relief that I’ve gotten.

Advanced Spine & Sports Care has given me the ability to run when I thought my days of running were behind me. When I attempted to exercise, it would end in shin splints regardless of stretching, strength training and duration of rest. My shin splints became so unbearable, I was unable to walk short distances without excruciating pain. After some research, I found Advanced Spine & Sports Care. Upon arrival I knew this would transcend the type of care I have received in the past; this was an experience rather than a visit to the doctor. The attention to detail is exceptional - from a card signed by each of the staff members to an efficient check-in process. At my first visit the doctor listened intently and provided thoughts on my injury. After reviewing my x-rays he laid out my path to wellness clearly - from what would be done to complete cost for treatment. After a few visits, I am able to run small distances without pain. I am able to walk without discomfort. I recommend Advanced Spine & Sports Care highly.

I came here after having chronic migraines (between 1-3 headaches a day) and after just a few visits, the ASSC team had put together a full treatment plan for me. Fast forward two weeks and the headaches have subsided significantly! I went from getting 12-15 per week to only having 4-6 in the same amount of time. I first went here a little over two months ago for a wrist injury where I couldn't put any weight on it. What an amazing experience from the moment I walked through the door to my exit. They gave me a nice little gift and card, walked me through the facility explaining all their capabilities, their community outreach, and events. Dr. Schey patiently listened to my health history and what my recovery goals were and assuring me that they would work with me and my insurance to make sure those goals were met without overwhelming me financially. I got x-rays my first visit and had a follow up the next day with detailed explanations of my spinal health and what they could do for me. The whole time I was there I saw numerous other clients come in and out, all met with a very friendly, communal vibe that made me feel like I was in a place that very much cared about each person and each patient was happy to be there. I've had tight stiffness in my neck, and my back around my shoulders have been in pain to the point where it was intolerable. I am a professional baseball player and it is at the utmost importance that I can be as flexible and mobile as I can. Now I am half way through my program here and my neck is back to normal (only took 2 weeks for that to heal) and my shoulder pain is now gone. I’ve been meaning to write this review for over a year. Advanced Spine and Sports Care is fabulous. I can’t even say “ They Treat You Like Family” because they legit treat me better than my family (sorry ma). I woke up with terrible neck pain and one of my friends suggested Advanced Spine and Sports Care. Marcy answered the phone and I immediately fell in love with her. She was SO sweet and personable ( hard to find in Chicago). I walked in two hours later, had a consultation with Dr. Shey, we talked about our favorite Peloton instructor( Tunde, obvi), she created a perfect program for me and it was a done deal. I started the program and after just 2 weeks my neck started feeling better. And don’t even get me started on their massages, magical. All the employees are amazing and so helpful and actually love their job ( which is rare). Not to mention their music choices are always on point.

I drove by this place a couple months ago and decided to check them out as I was unhappy with my previous chiropractor. I'm glad I did! The staff is friendly and prompt. Advanced Spine and Sports Care provides the most efficient and effective treatment right from the start. All staff are extremely friendly and address your needs from the moment you attend your first consultation. The office also is flexible with scheduling your appointments (which is essential when unpredicted injuries happen). I really hurt my lower back and couldn’t walk for a few days so went in for a consultation and within a few days they diagnosed the issue and worked on me and I was walking within a week with no pain (and have had minimal since). This office is also great as it has a family feel! I highly recommend this office to anyone, especially since the consultation is free for referrals (and mine was still only $37 because found them without a referral).

This is a great chiropractor facility. The staff and doctors address the root of your pain. I've been coming here since 2017 to address my back, shoulders, neck, and migraines. While the doctors offer adjustments, they also provide massages and physical therapy to help strengthen weak areas. The staff and doctors really care about each individual. You can tell that each employee loves working there and is invested in staying at this practice. The doctors, personal trainer, massage therapists, and the remaining professionals are trained and qualified to address a patient's needs. Additionally, they attend MANY training courses throughout the year to hone and finesse the practice. Depending on your plan, you may have to come multiple times a week. As time intensive as this may be for some individuals, I noticed positive results and less pain. This facility is now part of my everyday routine. Side note: There's three free parking spots in the back, for the patients. (On Saturdays, the nearby church allows the chiropractic patients to park in their parking lot.)

I've been visiting Dr. Schey and team since way BEFORE Advanced Spine & Sports Care landed in their Lakeview location. I had a bulging disc in my lower back in 2013 and was told during the fall of 2018 that I had bulging discs in my neck and shoulder (both sides) although one particular side always gave me much more pain than the other. I had been in chronic pain since last year, having to take pain pills for relief, seeing two different physical therapists and one other chiropractor... they was not able to help me. I learned about Advanced Spine and Sports and found them to be pleasant, caring, concerned and very professional. They will go above and beyond help you, and I feel like whenever I am there for treatment and care that I am in very capable and professional hands. I have been going for about a month so far, I have been doing my recommended exercises at home, drinking more water and eating more fruits and vegetables... they are concerned about your overall health. I have noticed some positive improvements already, some days are better than others. I’ve been coming into Advanced Spine and Spirts Care for around two years. Originally I needed a chiropractor for continued care after my allotment ran out at a chain chiro practice. The doctors are all very thorough and I’ve been able to notice a difference in the curvature of my spine in their X-rays. I feel great too. I also needed to have exceptional posture for a role in a film. I only had two months to get there but their physical therapy regimen got me prepared and once the trailer dropped I had old friends commenting my posture specifically. Which after a few weeks of treatment, has already helped me tremendously! When they ask how you are feeling, they genuinely care and want to help alleviate your pain. I love that it's not just an 90 second adjustment, but part of a comprehensive treatment plan. You start out on a table that preps your body for the adjustment, they then use a STIM machine with a heating pad on the area of your body that is acting up that day, and they also offer massage therapy which I do every week. I have Fibromyalgia and a Spinal condition, which they are now treating as well - and with the help of everyone in their office and all the work they do, I have more good days than ever. I also want to say that that STAFF IF INCREDIBLE. In this day and age, it's rare I find myself happy with customer service, but at Advanced Spine & Sports Care, each member of their team is so welcoming and exceptionally kind. Advanced Spine & Sports Care far exceeded my initial expectations. I’m not going to lie, at first, I was very skeptical about starting chiropractic care. I’ve heard my share of horror stories. I got very scared a few months back that I was close to being sidelined. Primarily runners knee related issues. However, since coming in and starting my treatment plan, I haven’t felt better. ASSC is superb! Overall, my performance running has improved significantly compared to when I started. I had significant runners knee related issues that would have eventually sidelined me during my next marathon training plan. The first thing that was discussed was my training plan and Dr Ingham reviewed it. Dr Ingham, Dr Stellar and Scott Boeckh have been a tremendous help the past month or so. Whenever I call or enter the building, my positive experiences begin with receptionists (Marcy and Amy) who are extremely warm, caring, and professional. Excellent services continue with physical therapists and extremely skilled chiropractors. During a recent visit (this Saturday) at ASSC, I had a consult with Dr. Erin Schey. After more than six months of undergoing exams and imaging, and various exploratory procedures with primary care physician, internist, neurologists and orthopedic surgeon, I've not been given a clear explanation of what's causing my balance problem but have been recommended to do the following: undergo more tests, take medication for pain (even though I don't experience pain with my balance problems) and consider undergoing surgery. I am so glad that I met with Dr. Schey. She had X-rays taken and clearly explained the source of the problem. Moreover, she recommended treatment that is not invasive. I felt so much better after engaging in the consultation with Dr. Schey. I highly recommend others in need of treatment for neck, back, and balance problems go to Advanced Spine & Sports Care. The customer service at this place is great, they entice you with a free gift and a Groupon. How-ever if you aren't going to a Chiropractor for free tea, chargers, or friendly people and you you are actually going to fix your back then I do not recommend this place. I have gone to many different chiropractors, due to constantly moving, this one the Dr. spends very little time with you (about 30 sec) they do not look at your chart or specialize your treatment in any way. Three generic twists, for two to three cracks, and your on your way. You might get some results with this but the lack of specialization to your needs can be dangerous and will definitely be slower than necessary.

I've seen four different chiropractors since my early twenties due to lower back pain that has resolved and then recurred some years later. Drs. Aho and Ingham are my current chiropractors. I'm surprised to see any negative reviews here because the care that I have received from them has always been exemplary, and has been the best of any chiropractors I've seen. I assume that the nature of chiropractic care may be misunderstood by some reviewers, and that the desire for an instant and permanent cure for back pain may be unrealistic. In my experience, my visits have immediately provided improvement in my pain and range of motion. It took several visits for the pain to go away entirely, and it got better with each visit. I've also had repetitive stress pain in my "mousing arm" from working on a computer all day, and they were able to resolve that in just a few visits. The physical therapist and massage therapist are also highly knowledgeable and skilled, and have been extremely helpful in my rehabilitation. And all the staff, therapists, and doctors have always been very friendly. For anyone seeking chiropractic care, I recommend this place highly.

In my early twenties, when I was dancing professionally, I suffered a dance injury that was excruciatingly painful throughout my lower back and pelvis. I was introduced to Dr. Ingham through a mutual friend and began seeing him for treatment. I had never seen a chiropractor before so I was not sure what to expect. After several treatments and making some changes with how I live my daily life - sleep, standing and walking patterns - the pain subsided and I began to feel literally more aligned. His work helped me to be a better and stronger dancer. That was 13 years ago. Since then, Dr. Ingham has seen me through several ankle sprains, muscle strains, two car accidents, and a host of other things. I have seen his practice grow and move over the years. Dr Ingham, however, has remained the same actively interested and caring Doctor for me. Some reviewers here were upset that he seems rushed when treating patients. He is undoubtedly a busy man, however, if you have a concern or question about something - your body, the process, or anything else - all you need to do is tell him or ask him. I've asked him countless questions over the years and had lengthy conversations. When he sees that I am concerned, his focus is only on me- the patient in front of him. Now, I see Dr Ingham every 8 weeks for maintenance. When I am feeling great I will move my appointment out. When I suddenly need him, he is available immediately. I can always count on him and his staff to get me in whenever necessary. This is comforting as it is not the case with medical doctors! As with anything, however, we as patients have to be willing to take some responsibility for our own health, as well, and do what it takes to help the treatments along. If Dr Ingham gives you homework or suggests you try some small lifestyle changes you should try those things. That's when you'll start seeing the benefits of his chiropractic.

I went to Chicago Spine & Sports Care after Dr. Ingham gave a presentation at the firm where I work. He handed out cards for a free full evaluation, x-rays included. Everyone at CSSC is freakn amazing!! I had x-rays done and then Dr. Ingham explained in detail what was going on. He also explained the insurance/payment process.
