Voyage Family Chiropractic is just that FAMILY! They are so friendly and truly care about your well-being. The staff and Dr. Dusty are awesome. When I started with my treatment I wasn’t sure it would help. I have had 3 cervical spine surgeries and I also have bulging discs in my lower back. I followed the protocol that Dr. Dusty gave me and before I knew it I was doing So much better and doing things I didn’t think I would be able to do. Walking and hiking more than 4 miles and long trips as well without the pain I once had. Give them a try!! The activator method is the way to go!! If they could help me, there’s a really good chance they can help you too!!

Voyage Chiropractic is the best! We moved from Atlanta where some of the best chiropractors around are in practice. It took going through 5 chiropractors in Birmingham before finding Voyage. They were an answer to our prayers. His technique is the most effective for sustaining adjustments. The goal is to get you better, not keep you coming forever. Once your recovered from whatever led you to chiropractic care, maintenance is easy at Voyage!!

I moved to Birmingham 8 months pregnant with SI joint pain I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. After visiting three other chiropractors in the area, I limped into Dr. Knickrehm's office feeling pretty hopeless. He exclusively uses the Activator method, which I honestly thought would never work. Well, I was proven dead wrong, and I walked out of his office pain free for the first time in months. His adjustments are precise and effective! He's not jumping all over you, pulling you this way and that. I felt so incredibly safe getting adjusted while pregnant. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with their mobility. In addition to being one of the best at what he does, his office offers little to no wait times, reasonable pricing, and the friendliest staff.

I came to Voyage Family Chiropractic with severe pain in my hip and down my leg and unable to sleep and sit for long periods of time. I had been told the only way to get relief was with an epidural and physical therapy. I chose chiropractic care instead. After coming to Voyage for a couple of months, my pain is GONE! Literally gone! Dr Dusty is amazing and has such a heart to see people healed from pain instead of just masking the issue.

Skeptic to convert. I was just about to get a spinal block bc my pain was so bad I couldn’t sleep and could barely walk. I met Dusty and he convinced me to give him a chance. Keep in mind I had back surgery 19 years ago and am all too familiar with back pain. I got to his office and checks the alignment of my feet, pulls out this tiny gun thing, and makes some very precise pokes on my spine. I wasn’t all better the first day, but the last two months I have gone from constant pain to pain free and able to throw my kids in the air again. Dusty is a quirky, fun guy you can’t help but love and he cares deeply about his patients. I can’t recommend his services enough.

I’ve been using voyage myself for about a year with great success. But what inspired me to write this review is the way they treated my 13 year old son. He recently was evaluated and adjusted for maintenance. Not only did they identify a few things that could potentially be problems down the line they gave him multiple suggestions to prevent common problems they see in teens and young adults. If you are looking for a friendly chiropractor with great customer service look no further.

I have had a great experience at Voyage Family Chiropractic! Dr. Knickrehm is very welcoming and makes the adjustments very comfortable. I have been going for over a year and he has helped me tremendously with back pain from working at a desk all day and has also been incredibly helpful with managing my back and hip pain through pregnancy. I have been seeing Dr. K for roughly a year. Shortly after I started seeing Dr. K I strained my low back from lifting and he was able to help alleviate pain until I was able to get in to see my ortho. He was then able to work in tangent with my PT to help with any lingering pain or muscle stiffness/tightness. He is very flexible w/ scheduling and does not hesitate to work me in if I start having low back pain or a feeling of being "off". He is very personable, friendly, and passionate about what he does. His front desk staff are sweet, funny, and caring ladies. 10/10 would recommend him for anyone looking for a chiropractor. I was hesitant before now about chiropractors but he is not your normal joint cracking chiropractor. I firmly believe in his activator method and my body thanks him for all his hard work.

I originally started seeing Dr. Knickrehm for back and neck pain related to a previous car accident. I had seen other chiropractors who believe in the twist and pull method and would feel like I was in even more pain after leaving the clinic. I have seen positive results and have had less pain since starting the care plan provided by Voyage Family Chiropractic. He explained the process to me and why it was so important to follow the plan provided. Not only is Dr. Knickrehm amazing he has an amazing staff that truly cares about their patients. I have since had another injury and they immediately took action to make sure I was getting the best care. I could not say enough good things about this team and the care they provide. Dr. Knickrehm has changed my life & I am not kidding. I used to have severe neck & back pain which caused migraines several times a week. I started care at Voyage and my migraines and pain are completely gone. I had tried everything prior to chiropractic care & nothing worked. I wish I would have come to them sooner. Could not recommend more! (Also the friendly staff is a HUGE plus. I look forward to my appointments every other week.)

I came to Dr. Knickrehm after 3 days of not being able to move. Turned out I had fractured two vertebrae's in my spine. We did X Ray's and he walked me through exactly what his plan was and what my part of that plan would be. After a few adjustments and a lot of stretching I began to feel a lot better. I was back to 100% in a lot less time than I anticipated and I think Dr. Knickrehm and Voyage are deserving of a huge thank you for that. I still am going once a month and will continue to for the forseeable future. The staff is excellent. Appointments are always on time and they treat you like family. I highly recommend!

Since seeing him I haven’t had to use any walking assistance . I Can sit / stand more than 10 minutes without bursting into tears n my legs giving out . Also he is super patient so if you’re nervous and become talkative. He will talk to you and talk you through it .And he accepts tricare so that’s a huge plus added
