Dr. Elliott does a wonderful job and is my chiropractor of choice. Several years ago I injured my back and there are some days when it's hard to even walk. On days like that I go over to Dr. Elliott ASAP! His treatments provide such relief that I will even take off of work if it's the only way I can see him. Dr Poehlman's practice is ran very professionally and he does amazing work. The receptionist Leah, keeps things organized and friendly, so overall a very pleasant group to work with. I came to Dr Elliott with a mid/upper back pain that had developed for a while and kept coming back on and off, most likely due to an injury at work. Come to find out I actually had a misaligned rib that was causing the pain to shoot up my back and I even felt it in my arm. For several weeks Dr Elliott and I worked on getting my back fixed through constant adjustments and other therapies and I can genuinely say I have felt a huge improvement as time went on and I never get weird back pain flare ups anymore. One thing I like is that Dr Elliott goes into a lot of detail about where the pain you are feeling comes from, and what can be done to help your body heal. Highly recommended

I am a middle aged athletic guy who hasn't felt close to 100% in almost 20 years. Thanks to Dr. Elliott I am almost there and am sure I will be soon! He and Leah his receptionist make it a very welcoming and friendly environment. Dr. Elliott is also great at explaining what is going on and is a good listener. If you have any pains or just want to be proactive, he is the man to see!

I learned of Dr Poehlman and his practice through Google and I can honestly say that I am very happy with my experience here. I'm 3 weeks into treatment and my flexibility and alignment have both vastly improved. Dr Poehlman approach is simple yet effective. Follow the plans and you'll see results. The staff is super kind and pleasant to deal with(Leah at the front desk). So far I'm quite impressed and would recommend his treatment to anyone seeking relief from back pain.

For a year before I retired my hip was so painful, I could barely walk or stand. During that time I saw two orthopedic surgeons and a physiatrist who kept giving me steroid injections. Finally, my PCP recommended I see a chiropractor. I went to Dr. Mark, who examined the hip, how I walked etc. and started a treatment plan three times a week. I did this for 6 weeks and kept feeling better and better-no more hip OR knee pain. Now, two years later, I'm walking 3 miles a day, five times a week without any pain. I maintain my back, hip, and knee health by receiving treatment once or twice a month. I've not had any issues since. I can't thank Dr. Mark enough for a pain free retirement!!

I have done some very physically hard jobs for all these years and currently work for Amazon , I walk between 15 to 17 miles a day and move these metal carts into trucks. Wonderful people! They work miracles here! I have had terrible pain for months in my neck and after 3 weeks with Dr. Poehlman, I sleep longer, have no pain, and can work out again without worrying about injury or worse pain. In the short time I’ve been coming to see Dr. Poehlman my back issues have subsided insanely fast. Other doctors I’ve worked with in the past seemed to merely give advice and have you treat yourself. Dr. Poehlman listens, advises and treats the issues and concerns of his patients as if they were his own back problems. My main concern was being swayed to take the surgical route were as Dr. Poehlman made it very clear that would be a last ditch effort and so far everything he’s done and has instructed me to do has made the prospects of any invasive procedure a very, very distant possibility. Very laidback atmosphere and approach to treatment. Highly recommened.

I visited the Poehlman Chiropractic office after straining my back. I was in constant pain while sitting or standing. I had never been to a chiropractor before and I was hesitant; however Dr. Poehlman and staff were very welcoming and patient. After I told Dr. Poehlman about having to work with my back injury he insisted that I borrow his personal back brace. Aside from this the visits are always quick however I never felt like I was being rushed out the door. Dr. Poehlman was very patient yet direct with my questions and made sure I didn't leave until all my questions were answered. Above all of that, the appointments fixed my back and I'm back to near 100% after only 3 visits. I strongly suggest this office to anyone in need of chiropractic services.

I started seeing Dr. Poehlman for lower back pain that I’ve had for over 10 years. I thought my pain was something I was going to have to accept as part of “getting older”. Months ago it got so bad that it was interfering with a passion of mine - Barre exercise class. That’s when I made the decision to try visiting a chiropractor for relief. I found Dr. Poehlman online after scouring reviews and I’m so glad I did! Dr. Poehlman and the rest of his office are A++! After sticking to a routine schedule of visits, I’m happy to say my pain is mostly gone! I can exercise without fear that I’m going to hurt myself and all around couldn’t be happier! A monthly visit to Dr. Poehlman will be part of my regular health maintenance. If you’re on the fence - give it a try! You won’t be disappointed with the care you receive!

I hurt my back and was in a-lot of pain in my lower back. I was recommended to dr. Mark . I went to my first appointment and the lady at the desk is and very nice lady that actually cares about people. Then i seen dr. Mark and i was very happy in his very confident and optimistic approach. I went 3 times and what a difference i am back to normal. I highly recommend anyone to go to dr. Mark if you have pain and want it gone you will be very happy. My experience is in my opinion one of the finest around. My insurance dont cover but the fees are not terribly expensive.

Over the years I have been to several different chiropractors practicing several different methods of chiropractic medicine. I was hesitant coming to Dr. Poehlman, however those concerns were quickly eliminated. I found his treatments to be exactly what was needed to bring relief to my neck pain. Dr. Poehlman also encourages a healthy diet and exercise to further complement his chiropractic treatments. A review would not be complete without mentioning the friendly and extremely helpful office staff who courteously guide you through all paperwork and transactions necessary. It is wonderful to find another gem in Catonsville!

ON THE MOVE

I have been having chronic back pain on and off for years. I suffer from disc space narrowing at the L4-L5 region and also L5-S1. I was lost and thought there was no hope for any recovery. However, I decided to give one more try and I am so glad that I did. Visiting Dr. Poehlman’s office (which made me feel very welcomed from the beginning) has changed my life completely. I am more than halfway through my treatment and I don’t feel the pain at all. Mornings are better, I always feel comfortable jogging and playing with my son. Thank you Dr. Poehlman.

Dr. Mark made a huge impact on my life. I recently had a lower back injury from powerlifting (I got greedy on a lift) that made it difficult for me to even get up from a sitting position. I couldn’t touch my toes without being in agony, and I began to feel like I wouldn’t be active for a LONG time. I came to his office 3 times a week and within two weeks I was completely pain free. On top of that, my hormones became regulated through the supplements he suggested to me, I’ve been sleeping MUCH better, I don’t have stress or neck headaches anymore, and my overall posture and health have improved. Now that the crisis is over, I’ll be coming back twice a month for maintenance. In addition, Elliot, another chiro at the office, offered suggestions for mobility exercises while I’m recovering that are helping a whole lot. I couldn’t recommend this office more, very clean, professional, and even better- NO MEDICINE OR SURGERY. 10/10 would come back.
