This review is for Dr. Mark Stutman under whose care I have been for the past 3 weeks for a total of 6 sessions this far, at his 1736 Eastern Avenue, Baltimore location. I chose to go here because he has stellar reviews here on Google! The scheduling of appointments and verification of my medical insurance coverage was very easy and quick, courtesy of Ms. Yureny. The doctors' assistant, Ms. Berenice is also always a pleasure to work with. FYI - all members of the care team at this location are fluent in both Spanish & English. Dr. Stutman is a pragmatic individual who does not overpromise and under-deliver - he instead instills reasonable expectations about what benefits might accrue from sessions under his care. From my interaction with him, he comes across as very humble, humanitarian and humorous. Even more importantly, I find him to be a very effective and efficient chiropractor. I explain why beow: I have had chronic low back ache for more than 2 decades now. His clinic has a wide array of equipment - massage chairs, traction bed, electrical TENS and ultrasound therapy, stretching machine, and Human Touch iJoy Rides. Apart from these, you may also benefit from dry needling, chiropractic adjustment at the hands of the good doctor. I have never been to any other physiotherapy or chiropractic clinic with such a vast array of treatment types under one roof. For my specific case, I was recommended some time on each of these, and my low back pain has reduced very significantly, in such a short time - it almost feels like a divine miracle! Obviously, your need for each of these types of treatment may vary depending on your specific needs. I am usually petrified of needles, but I can barely feel it when these very thin needles are inserted or removed from my low back! But the doctor did not force me to get this done, when I expressed my fear initially. But out of my own volition I choose to try it out once, he was equally happy to start me off gently to ease my fear. The clinic has never been too crowded or too empty, and COVID-19 protocols are followed even though we seem to be near the end of this pandemic. Equipment are wiped down thoroughly and regularly, and mask requirements are followed by both patients and medical staff. The only minor challenge, that has nothing to do with the clinic per se, is getting parking close by. As someone with a packed schedule, I need to always remind myself to arrive around 10-15 minutes early to find free parking around the block, or even paid parking right on Eastern Ave. It is a busy city after all! I whole heartedly and unreservedly give Dr. Stutman and his clinic a 11 on 10 rating (you read that right), and 2 thumbs up!

I had a trip to go abroad on April 4th and had a scheduled colonoscopy the week before leaving. It was routine and the colonoscopy went fine ...except the next day after the anesthesia wore off, I developed back pains that kept getting worse so that by the third day I was wracked in pain and could hardly move. I called an orthopedist and the earliest appointment they had was days after I was supposed to leave. As a last chance effort I decided to call Dr Stutman. He knew how urgent it was and he did every procedure in the book including needling (a form of acupuncture) He worked my back well and although he told me I might ache the next day I was up and about and he really saved me. He said the anesthesia so relaxed my back that when it wore off the back muscles did not regain their tone, they were like deflated balloons. It took his hands on approach to get me back in shape. If I had gone to an orthopedist, I would still be waiting for MRIs and other tests before they would even know what to do. Dr Stutman not only saved my back he saved my trip. I was able to get on the plane and fly and not lose this opportunity.. I cannot thank him enough !

This place has been great thus far especially during the covid era. They have very superior customer service. The staff are always checking on you and cleaning the areas after EVERY use. The most important thing next to all of this is that they listen!!! If you're looking for a place that isn't congested and very clean, definitely use their service. I see Dr Bushwick at the Charles St. office and he is a very perceptive and intuitive person as well as knowledgeable and up-to-date in his field. He was able to locate the precise spot in my back and with his first treatments I began to experience significant relief that I had not experienced with others I had been to see.
