I am a connoisseur of chiropractors (not by my choice, but because of my unfortunate spine) and the elder Dr. Ross is probably one of the best, if not the absolute best chiropractors I have been to in the US (and I've used them in 8 states and counting.) Dr. Ross literally checked out and read off his analysis of every vertebrae to his assistant and then formulated a care plan for my trouble areas. When I left after 30 minutes, I had my range of motion back and was good to go. Highly recommend Dr. Ross and his friendly staff.

I've had great sessions with Dr. Blue. Due to medical issues, I have been going in for adjustments and massages weekly for past 6 months or so. I book my massages 3-4 weeks in advance because I need them on certain days (Fri or Sat) and they cancelled on me 3 weeks in a row due to various reasons and cannot reschedule me on the days that I can go. After 3rd consecutive week on them canceling on me, I was aching all over and had enough. What is the point of booking weeks in advance? Maybe they need better massage booking system? Sorry you lost my business after this.

Highly recommended. After the alignment, I don’t have lower back pain. As a matter of fact, its been 2 days since I came from the clinic, i didn’t take Ibuprofen to help me get through my work. I also felt like I got extra more 1/2 inch of my height. Dr. Ross extensively assesses every level of my vertebral bone. Good thing I took Ibuprofen before coming to the clinic,so the spinal manipulation is easy on me. The CMA also is knowledgeable and skillful, and the frontdesk staffs are friendly and accomodating. Schedule your massage with Tambria. I have had many. many massges in the past. Nothing compared to the incredible massage I received from Tambria..targeting several areas of concern . My neck and shoulders have been problematic for decades. Immediately after my targeted deep tissue massage not only did I have an amazing increase of my range of motion but over the next several days I continued to experience improvement! Was in a car accident and chose to visit this place for treatment and boy was it a great idea. The doctors here are incredible! The staff is amazing. Really get to know you. You’re a part of the family when you get treated there. Dr. Blue & Dr Ross are so amazingly informative. They broke everything down for me when explaining what was going on with my body and set up an amazing treatment plan to get me as close to 100% as possible. When I went in there for the first time, I couldn’t turn my head to the left, my neck was a painful stressed disaster, now I think it basically rotates 360 degrees lol. (Compared to before) The staff (Ashlee, Cynthia, Justina and Kirsten?) were so fun and nice and always made sure I was maintaining my exercises and had the right gear to feel better. The standout approach to my treatment was my most regular masseuse, Heather A., she listened to my body, she listened for my pain and my stresses. She created a beautiful balance and my body is so thankful. Her massages were always soooo relaxing, she and her room always smelled wonderful and the ambiance with the oils and the rubs were calming and enjoyable to the Max. Also it’s a great plus that she sings like an angel and it’s like being sung lullabies to sleep. Dr. Ross is such a kind, caring doctor. He makes sure to listen to what you tell him, he is sure to answer all your questions and he was willing to share his diagnosis, treatment plan and after care with my primary care physician. I know that takes time to do but he knew how important is was for my to have all my care providers on the same page so my docs can all work together to best benefit my care. Heather is the best massage therapist in AK! At least for me she is. Heather changed my world when I started seeing her. I did not realize just how mean and nasty I had become after years of terrible chronic pain in my shoulder. I had been to lots of massage therapist and had a feel good massage that I forgot about by the time I got to my car. Heather did not give me a feel good massage but a deep tissue massage with her elbow deep into the muscles of my shoulder. After twice a week massages for 2-3 months I had about 70% less pain and my attitude became my nice, caring self again. I am now at about 75% less pain and see Heather twice a month. I strongly recommend Excellence In Health to each and every one.

Received a flyer in the mail. Called them up and initially set up an appointment for my daughter at 1st. Once I arrived the front desk told me, if I wanted I could be seen too. That was a pleasant surprise because I wasn't sure due to my insurance. Everything they did for me as well as for my daughter was exceptional! This was some 3 wks later after the car accident that my daughter and I were involved in. Wow 👏 I'm nothing, but grateful and relieved to everyone involved today. Everyone from the front desk to the medical staff was an awesome experience. My daughter and I felt quite a difference after today's initial visit. I've been going to EIH for several years now and I'm extremely happy with the treatments and service I get at this clinic. This office is a well-oiled machine--the staff is very efficient and friendly, I never have to ask twice for anything. I can usually get right in for an appointment and they are very good at staying on time. The medical assistants are very knowledgeable in treatment and the massage staff are all probably the best in Anchorage! I recently started having severe pain down my right leg. I was being treated by Dr. Ross. After a couple weeks, we decided I needed to be referred to a neurosurgeon. This is what I love about this clinic, they are confident in what they do and know when they need to refer you along. I highly recommend this clinic to everyone!

She is absolutely incredible. She has a warm demeanor and is very pleasant when she greets me. We briefly address my aches and pains and then she gets right to work. She knows that I am always cold so she always has the heater blanket on for me when I arrive which I appreciate and find to be a very personable touch. Debbie focuses on the areas of my body that need the most attention and then gives me a full body massage which is a nice balance. I was lucky enough to be paired with Heather Elizabeth for my massage, I would not have minded being paired with a man or a woman but Heather Elizabeth was so incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. Went to Excellence in Health after a slip and fall walking the dog. Received a thorough evaluation and few therapeutic massages to help recover from the fall. All of the appointments ran on time, communication from the office was clear and timely, and the staff from the doctor to the therapist have been helpful in getting me back to 100%. Update: I have been seeing Heather Arkell, one of the LMTs there, for my massage therapy treatments and she has been very helpful. Among her strengths, Ms. Arkell is always on time for appointments, communicates with me clearly and always checks to make sure I am making progress towards my goal of returning to my pre-slip and fall status.

I was paralyzed from the waist down by spinal cord injury and went to physical therapy for three months with no result except to what I feel made me worse. I found a coupon on groupon and decided to give massage therapy a try. To my amazement Megan on my first visit gave me use of my ankle for the first time in 4 months. To say I am ecstatic by this result is an understatement. I went again for my second visit and I have use of my left knee. Pretty awesome for only two visits. I first saw Dr. Ross and his team back in 2018. July to be specific. I was a wreck. I had lost faith in medicine and doctors. I was just going through the motions that the VA was putting me through. Please understand that I am not writing this in a knee-jerk response to the alleviation of pain. I still hurt due to the very nature of my poor health. Dr. Ross has been the longest practitioner that I have stayed with to date. Now to explain why. It is his commitment and the commitment of his entire staff to stay with me for the long haul. To help me with getting through each day. Even when the depression that accompanies with pain gets to be too much. Both Dr. Ross' are very attuned to my needs. The ladies who do my TENZ treatment are professional and always a joy to work with. This place tries to make you feel like your family. That you matter as person and for what you do to make a living. They always ask and evaluate how their treatment helps me get through the job day to day. Today, my pain levels are sitting below a five. Only a few of you would understand what that means. The pain would rack through me in the past, every time my feet hit the floor. The headaches that I had when I first saw them were leveling me to the floor. I was easily at level 8 daily. Do you see what I mean? I have been as low as a two these days. That's what matters. I will always recommend Excellence in Health to anyone who's suffering from chronic pain.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ross's for over 10 years. Some may say why is it taking so long to see a chiropractor? Do you take your care for one check up/tune up and then you're done? I have what's called cervical facet syndrome (look it up) and compression fractures. One and done doesn't cut it. I go for an adjustment and a massage monthly, sometimes more often when the issues are worse. These injuries don't go away, but with the treatments offered, I can do almost all that I've done in the past. I've had many massages by many people, but Deb is the best for my neck issues. Yes, sometimes I feel worse for a day or so after the treatment, but that's the toxins being released...it goes away. If you are looking for great care, I highly recommend this clinic. I've also seen Dr. Tipikin when Dr. Ross is out. He's great too!

This clinic is a wonderfully caring place. They address you by name, really listen to why you are there, and try their best to fix the problem. Everyone explains in detail what the plan is and ask my advice & my thoughts on how to proceed. I enjoy my visit every time.
