Dr. Adkins is the most thorough chiropractor I’ve ever been to. He understands that a complete healing means treating the person holistically so he asks a lot of questions about different areas of your life before deciding on a treatment plan. He truly cares about the recovery of his patients and follows up to make sure you’re doing ok and answers additional questions. His staff is professional and courteous, his office is beautiful, modern, and easily accessible, and his intelligent, jovial demeanor is charismatic and inspires a lot of confidence. I had previously been to 2 other chiropractors with an issue in my hip. Dr Adkins was the only one who watched me walk (several times!) to figure out what was going on in my hip! He spent more time with me to figure things out. His time spent with me was a message to me that he really cared to help me! The staff was very friendly, professional and also very caring. The skill of ART is very helpful for musculoskeletal issues and it's only offered in this clinic. I would recommend this clinic to anyone and everyone! Start here first!

Dr. Best is a wealth of knowledge and he will get you back in good working condition in no time. He's not one to present a sales pitch and make you think you need more treatment than you actually do. I love his humble yet very knowledgeable approach to caring for his patients. I see other healthcare professionals try to make a fast dollar by recommending unnecessary things. You will be able to tell immediately, Dr. Best will care for you over the long term and treat you like family rather than attempting to make a fast buck. He is also very involved in the community and sponsors multiple events promoting exercise and health.

Dr. Best is AWESOME! I went to him after a bad car accident and I am sure glad I did. He had me feeling significantly better after my first visit and with a much improved range of motion. He used the Active Release Technique on me and what a difference that has made, truly night and day difference compared to some other chiropractors I have visited in Anchorage. Dr. Best took time to answer specific questions I asked, about what exercises and stretches he would recommend I do to speed my recovery process, and he explained in terms I would understand, and even demonstrated the stretches for me. Been seeing Dr. Adkins for years. He has magic hands for back, neck and other body injuries. Recently hopped in on crutches due to maybe a sprained ankle, super painful. He and Brian used ART just enough so at least I could stand on it and get a little more motion to it. All healed up now and back to my active life. I should have reviewed them years ago. I cannot even count the amount of injuries and pains they have helped get me recovered from. Office staff is awesome too.

I didn't go to Anchorage, Alaska to get treatment but while in Kailua Kona after getting a bad crink in my neck talking to someone on a plane for 5.5 hours straight from LAX... I was happy to have met Dr. Joel Adkins who is a doctor in this group. This could have ruined my trip, but my husband knew to bring me straight to the ART tent. I believe in what these professionals do, especially in trying to keep up with my husband... I know ART works. I am not the type of person to follow instructions and stretch and take care of myself as I should, nor even know what was wrong. I just knew I was stiff and hurt and my range of motion gone. Dr. Akins nailed the sources of what was ailing me where my problem areas were. He even identified some other areas while working on my immediate concern that completely made sense with some of my "humanoid" habits. He knew how to get me back to 99%. I will leave the 1% to the tenderness of where these professionals need to reach those muscles that are causing the problems. The relief and healing ratio, blows the trade off away. I am not a triathlete, I do not play one on TV, however, I am married to one and I know ART and this doctor is good.
