I was given a full explanation of my MRI and treatment. Today’s appointment was my first initial visit but I also started on my treatment. I felt comfortable explaining what pain and discomfort I’ve been experiencing without any doubt I usually get from medical doctors. I usually feel doctors don’t believe me. I didn’t feel rushed to get in and get out. The employees were also pleasant and patient at the front desk. I was able to meet with both doctors, father and son. Hi-tech equipment was used for my condition as I’ve got two bulging disc’s that don’t allow me to do my daily activities. I thank my sister-in-law and brother-in-law for referring me.

I enjoy seeing Dr. Derek Atchley because he really listens to me as a patient. He really takes his time on listening to your concerns and work out whatever area may be in pain. His staff is also very friendly and efficient. I never seem to wait more than 10 minutes from my scheduled appointment time. What I also enjoy is his honesty on the frequency of visits it may take to see results. At first I was going 1-2 times a week when I first started seeing Dr. Atchley in 2018 and when I was not able to continue my care the staff and Dr. Atchley was so nice on getting home back in without hesitation or judgement in 2021. If your looking for an honest chiropractor without all the pressure I would recommend Dr Atchley hands down.

Dr. Derek Atchley has been a god-send to myself and my family. I was recommended to him around 4.5 years ago while I was pregnant with twins. I was having trouble walking, sleeping, sitting... (basically being human) etc. He saved my pregnancy and my quality of life which made it possible for me to carry them to full term 37+1. I believe they were born full term and healthy because of my weekly visits. I also suffer from chronic migraine and he is the one and only person that can knock my migraine out in just a five min visit. This man is extremely knowledgeable and amazing at what he does. He’s been seeing our boys since they were just days old till just today, they’re four years old now. Dr. Derek also works on my adult daughter weekly after suffering a back injury in a car accident; also my husband, my teenage daughter and even my three month old grandson. His staff is very professional and friendly. They know us by name and make us feel right at home. The office staff refuses to wear facemasks in spite of state regulations, The ladies tare very clear that they are not going to wear masks. Unfortunately, this has really shaded my experience. I have gotten to the point where I dread going in because of this. I’m not sure why such a capable and well respected practice would blatantly ignore mandates. What it feels like is they really don’t care about the safety of their clients.

I've been out of line for about a month. I got a hold of Dr Ashley and he figured out that my knee was the problem, go figure...so He adjusted it and my back where my sciatic nerve and back pain literally having me almost in tears. After doctor Atchley adjusted me the pain went away almost immediately, my muscle feels a little weak because it was jacked up for that long but the initial excruciating and uncomfortable pain I was experiencing is gone. Dr Derek Atchley makes you feel super comfortable with everything by letting you know what is going on and how each thing he does might help you improve in certain areas. One thing that I have noticed is my focus and alertness has gotten so much better and it’s something I have struggled with since I was a preteen. I have basically gotten off my prescribed adderall that I take for my adhd which I love! It’s a freeing feeling knowing you don’t have to rely on a drug to make you feel like things are working right. Coming from Phoenix, first, let me say that my top priority was to find a chiropractor in ABQ that went to Palmer College. Love the Palmer methods. I have had back issues for over 20 years, and Dr. Derek did a great job with my adjustments and use of e-stim. This was the first time meeting him and I really liked how he educated me on the spine and techniques use to align the spine etc (which some of that I already knew). He is very knowledgeable and has a very relaxed attitude, which I like a lot. My first adjustment helped tremendously. I would absolutely recommend going to see him, if you have back issues or want to have a certain amount of preventative care for your back and neck. I'm pretty picky with who I want to touch my back and neck...that's a lot of trust to give someone.

I have been seeing Dr. Derek Atchley for several years. When I first saw him I had major mobility issues due to neck and back pain. I had been through years of physical therapy, medication therapy and had rejected recommendations for surgery. I have connective tissue disease with ongoing joint instability but through regular adjustments and lifestyle recommendations he keeps me moving and mostly pain free. On top of that, he is genuinely interested in his patients and their wellbeing beyond the confines of his office. His staff is exceptional and I can't imagine seeing anyone else.
