I had been putting up with a bad iPhone 8+ screen for years. When it got warm in the car, for example, it would go bananas and phantom touches would open apps and call random people. I finally dropped it in the Spring, and although there were cracks everywhere, the screen was still functional (as long as it stayed below a certain temperature). But it got progressively worse until I just had to get it fixed toward the end of the summer. I made an appointment at the U Break I Fix off of Lynnhaven Parkway. Upon arriving, I was told it would be days before they could look at my phone. (Hint: if you can't keep a customer appointment, you notify them in advance so as not to waste their time. Additional hint: Guess who I'm reviewing next?) I called iPhone Repair VB almost on a lark and asked if they could fit me in. The gentleman who answered the phone was very polite, and invited me to bring the phone by. The price to replace the screen was $79, which I thought was more than fair. They didn't charge a bench fee, and the repair was done in less than 2 hours. The girl running the front desk was friendly and professional in demeanor, explained the repair process thoroughly, and overall did a great job. Excellent experience, overall. Thank you!

Amazing customer service! They have installed multiple screen protectors on my Samsung phones with no charge and without purchasing them from here as they don't carry samsung products. My daughter recently broke off the charger in her iPad, dropped it off to them and they removed the tiny charger piece that was left in the phone free of charge! Won't go anywhere else for our Apple products!!

THESE GUYS ARE BEYOND GENUINE!! I would like to start by saying I cracked my iPhone X screen first thing in the morning I called when they open and they told me to come on up and they would take care me in a Jiff. The staff was very very knowledgeable and explain everything I wanted to know in extreme detail. Long story short they fixed my screen that was completely shattered on my iPhone X and it works perfectly. Price is comparable/ reasonable to Apple only difference is you don’t have to wait two weeks from Apple for an appointment or stand around for three hours while they are repair. Update: 10/30/18 Had a minor issue with the function of my iPhone X I took it back they fixd it with no questions asked and said they were here to help in anyway they can these guys are awesome. !!! THANKS !!

I looked this place up went to it and I was in and out in about 45 minutes. Joel was super fast and highly professional. My screen replacement was $109 plus tax with tax it was $115. Needless to say I canceled my order on my insurance. I’m exceptionally satisfied

Incredibly helpful. Needed a replacement for a cracked rear housing on an iPhone (why do they still make these things out of glass?!). Repair was quick and looked great, but ran into trouble with the camera operation in the weeks following the swap. After some troubleshooting by me and them, the team took it back in and replaced the housing with another unit. I appreciated the extra effort and care. Highly recommend.

Two words: AMAZINGLY FAST. This little repair store next to the animal hospital is worth going to if you're impatient like me. I came here at 12:30 and left around 12:50! The front screen of my iPhone 5 had cracks & some missing glass. I walked into friendly service and was taken care of right away. The guy working there told me 45 minutes, but finished in 20 minutes. Not only was the front screen of my phone good as new(maybe even better than the original), he put on a new screen protector(no charge) Their website says front screen repair for the iPhone 5 to be $85, plus tax he rang me up for $90. I told him I printed their $10 off coupon and before I could get it from my wallet he told me to hang onto it for future use. Including the discount, I paid $80. :-) Their prices beat any other repair places and are true to their word about taking less than an hour to fix your phone. + I'm thinking of coming back if I upgrade to change the color of my phone. I brought my iPad mini here after the screen was completely destroyed by either my five-year-old or my overzealous black lab. The verdict is still out on who the real culprit was. 😂 While I knew the screen could be replaced, I never thought it would be the same as it was when new. I have heard stories about people getting screens replaced, only to have dust trapped under the glass or a touchscreen that isn’t “quite as responsive” as it used to be. My replacement screen was perfectly fitted and functions just like when it was brand new. These guys are masters at their craft. They use top quality replacement parts and really know what they are doing. As if all of this wasn’t amazing enough, my repair was completed in less than 24 hours. Whether you’re local or just here on vacation, I’d trust these guys with your phone or tablet. They do great work, and I’ll definitely be back the next time (not if, but when) one of my devices gets broken.

AMAZING! I will never trust anyone else with the repair of a phone again! This guy not only fixed a problem caused by another cell phone repair shop, but he did it in record time. Incidentally, when I arrived at the shop to pick it up, another maskless and shirtless customer was screaming at the owner because he didn't have the $62 required to pick it up. This man never lost his cool and remained professional the entire me, despite the fact that the customer was threatening to fight him. The phone looks amazing and works perfectly. Had an iPhone 6S that the only problem was a very, very short battery life. This place replaced the battery and it fees new again! I waited so long because I didn’t want to have to go for a few days without my phone due to using it for my morning alarm clock. I waited until I had a day off the next day because I thought the process would take a few days. I dropped it off and it only took 2 hours! So happy with their service and it was only like 40 bucks. What a steal

The screen on my iPhone 5 cracked about a week before my new iPhone 6 Plus arrived. (I had already set up the $200 rebate that was being offered for trading in my phone in good condition.) I called several places (and drove to several other places) and was not thrilled with the prices or the attitudes of the associates at the other stores/kiosks. When I called iPhone Repair VB, they were very personable and that I could bring the phone in and it would be ready in an hour. True to their word, we dropped off the phone and picked it up an hour later...good as new. (Don't forget to print the coupon on their website for $10 off!) Highly recommended!

Very pleased with the service, cost, and professionalism of these guys. I Brought a broken phone with me on vacation to get fixed. These guys were awesome. First: I needed a new charging port for my iPhone SE, the guy at the counter looked at it, picked at the port with a tool and viola...it worked with no repair or cost needed. Second: I dropped off a old iPhone 5C (our spare family phone) for a screen and charging port repair. They finished in 45 mins for about $80.

I went here a few weeks ago and I was shocked at he results of my phone. My screen was severly cracked and the top right of the screen would not work whatsoever. I came here expecting ridicuously high prices and slow service. But mine was quick and easy, and a decent price! I have never cracked a screen on any of my devices before ever so upon cracking my screen on my new iphone 8plus I completely freaked out and did not know what to do. This place had amazing reviews and ratings so I decided to give them a try on fixing my screen and OMGOSH i am glad I did! No appt needed like Apple and way cheaper than what Apple quoted me on! I waited lil over 30 mins for them to fix my screen so i got my device the same day as opposed to Apple who quoted days i would get it back. With my line of work having no phone is not an option. They even put on a new glass screen protector for me and recommended a way more protective case. It was awesome experience here they fixed what I needed in a timely and affordable manner. These guys are so friendly and honest. I will be recommending to other people and returning when needed

Update: 11/27/17 James couldn’t fix the problem because I already got a replacement phone but her refunded my purchase saying he wants 100% satisfaction. I have to give him a 5. I brought in my iPhone w a cracked screen. The next day, my phone battery wouldn’t keep charged. When I called they said the screen had nothing to do with the battery, but I had no problems prior to the repair. and now, less than 60 days later, my glass screen popped out! I have to get a new phone. Can never recommend their service to anyone. Learned a lesson!

I went there on Dec 11 2018 to get my iphone repaired. I thought I needed a new charge port. The guy looked in it, saw a bunch of schmeg, cleaned it out on the spot, tested it, and said "You're good to go". I offered to pay him but he wouldn't take anything. I am very impressed. If I ever do need a repair, this is the place I'll go.

I can't believe how well my iPad Air 2 came out. I had a bad crack in the screen and the body was a little bent. When they repaired it for about $150+ tax, they called me back within 2hrs (was expecting 5hrs or so). Picked it up and it felt like it was brand new! The home button was flush like it was never broken. Great place and very friendly staff.

I would recommend this shop even for Android holders esp Galaxy phones. Very fast service and friendly staff... We went there last July and I broke my LCD screen, went to this shop eventhough they are mainly for iphones and asked if they can fix my screen, they said yes and I just have to wait 1 day since they will order the parts and end of story, I got my phone back on time and it's working perfectly fine. I brought in my galaxy s4 to get the charger port fixed and I am somewhat skeptical about this company especially after getting an estimate of ~40USD and not getting a fix/retrieval date. Within minutes of my slamming the phone in the door of the car, while on duty as a chaplain,VBPD, they took the shattered and mangled phone and gave it new life! I was horrified at the thought of going to my phone service carrier or to the ‘mall’....This could have taken days- Which was not an option as I was on duty I needed the phone,$$$ and a few choice words that I am not allowed to say anymore. My iPhone got wet and stopped working. Thought about the iphone store, but the wait is always looooong. So I tried these guys. I was plesently surprised that I was able to walk in and talk to someone without waiting. Matt took my phone and opened it back in their shop. He brought it back out and showed me where the water got to. Said that he would trouble shoot it to see if it was repairable. I left and he called in about an hour. The phone is terminal, but he at least got it working enough to get my data off of it and use the functions that were working. Then, since he didn't do any "repairs" ...no charge. Wow. Dont see that kind of service often. I found a new place for phone repairs. If you have a phone problem, go there. You can trust them.

I went into iPhone Repair VB to have my iPhone 6S+'s glass replaced. The Associate inspected my phone, and discovered it was just the protective screen that was cracked. They offered two replacements; the $10 generic, and the $25 name brand. I went with the $10 variety. I also purchased a replacement Otter Box; my original Otter Box was getting all torn up. The Otter Box was cheaper than buying it from Verizon. I was extremely happy with this visit, and I highly recommend iPhone Repair VB if you need your phone serviced.

A couple of weeks before, my son dropped the iPhone and the glass shattered. I went to the chesapeake location and matt greeted me with a smile. Matt looked into the issue and asked for 1 hr to fix. Lo and behold, my iPhone is up and running within an hour. Matt is super smart and he knows the job he is doing. A couple of weeks later, suddenly the display went black and took it back to matt. he fixed it within minutes and he also recommended other options for my iPad. This is one stop shop for iPhone repair, very nominal, there is a groupon deal as well. Overall I love it..

The best use of a Groupon ever - dropped my iPad on a convention hall metal chair frame and cracked the screen around the power button. Little bits of glass fell off. My WiFi had never been great. It all still worked, but the glass was not safe. Flipped through Groupons and found IPhone repair. He pleasantly took $30 off the repair, and I had my iPad back like new in a few days, and he fixed the WiFi so that it works better than ever. Recommend going here with or without a Groupon. Very reasonable, quick, and pleasant.

Iphone 7 no longer charges....I'm on vacation, I have a lot of data inside for my work.. I have an old iphone 5 that helps me out but I don't know the passwords for all of them. apps then it's difficult. I see this store with very long opening hours. The guy is a pro, in about 5 minutes the iphone is up and running with temporary parts. Water damage even if the iphone is said to be water resistant. Charging port and battery changed the next morning for the modest sum of US$106. I know that in Quebec I would have paid no less than $300 and Apple would have replaced it for me at $6-700. Do not hesitate Quebecers on vacation at VB, an honest, fast and hyper-professional company. Thanks!
