My daughter broke my laptop monitor almost off my laptop. The entire bottom of the screen was out while the casing for the monitor was stuck open. They were able to fix my laptop for half the price of replacing it! Everything looks and works perfect! I had taken the laptop to another place closer to home first and was told it was a lost cause but I wasn't ready to let it go. Give this location a try they were amazing and I had the laptop back in no time flat!

We have had a couple of incidents with phones getting moisture inside recently, and both times UBreakIFix in the Redmill Commons location put them on their dehydrator for a couple of days at no charge. In one case the phone couldn't be salvaged so we had to replace it, in the other case it was salvaged. Their friendly helpful service and willingness to put our phones on the dehydrator for no charge impressed us and we can highly recommend them. L. Eide, Virginia Beach

I have been in this location several times, but this time I showed up crying from a terrible experience elsewhere with my new android. Mike stepped right up and helped put my mind at ease and literally had my phone set up in no time. It took a bit to upload from old phone to new and he treated every customer that came in the store efficiently and never made anyone feel rushed, especially me. I have never had such amazing customer service anywhere!!!! I will never go anywhere else when I have a problem with my phone. I also watched several people come in for black ice liquid glass and I bought some as well. I will be sending my grandchildren in to have their phones covered, and will recommend this place everytime. Thank you for being a place that stands out with excellent customer service everytime I have been in, especially today!! Mike is a true asset to your company!!!!!

This is the place to go. They are Google pixel certified so it was a given I had to use them when my battery went out on my pixel. I have to admit that I was incredibly nervous, because of the high chance of the the screen breaking in the process. I really did not want to pressure them by giving them a time limit, so I let them have the phone and really take their time, however the turnaround time was still great. Crazy to say, I feel like they were really nervous about breaking the screen themselves, which showed me that they really truly care about their work. However, we all felt a sense of relief when the screen did not break. I am absolutely amazed by their competence, knowledge, expertise and amazing customer service. Thank you so much and I will certainly bring my other pixel in.

Went in with a Note 10+ with charging issues. I thought the whole port would need to be replaced. They said they'd do a cleaning of the port and go from there. About 10 minutes later they bring me my phone and it charges like new and there was no charge for the cleaning! Great experience.

I stopped in to see what could be done about my phone - the charger plug seemed loose and would slip out often. The fellow at the store thought a quick clean with some solutions would fix it up, and like magic, he came back out and the problem was gone! I asked to pay, and he said that service is free. That was awesome, I got great service and some good advice on if I should get insurance on my next phone. Many thanks!

First time visiting uBreakiFix and Mike couldn’t have been more polite, professional, and helpful! I had tried multiple attempts to update my MacBook Air to Monterey, and even though it indicated it was going through the process, it never did. The computer acted more sluggish and a black screen would appear, there was no acknowledgement of my fingerprint login, and after multiple restarts, shutdowns, and subsequent Apple notifications that problems were detected with the option to report it but to a seemingly black hole…I had had enough. Oh, and then often used streaming services like Netflix and Amazon were would acknowledge my login, but froze and wouldn’t play anything, while others like HBOMax and Hulu worked just fine. I don’t know what Mike did, but he fixed the issues, installed the Monterey update, and because the diagnostics he ran came back with no issues, his efforts were free of charge. Comms between us were very efficient with multiple emails verifying my drop off/their receipt of my computer, and that the issue was being worked. Mike promptly called me and left a vm when the problems were resolved. And…my streaming services are back to working normally. Great first time experience! Highly recommend going here for your computer issues.

I was freaking out because I cracked my phone screen and was going to buy a new phone but my lovely girlfriend pointed me in the direction of finding a phone repair place. Enter uBreakiFix. I called them up and the person, Mike, helped calm me down and walk me through the process of what kind of phone I had, logistical data, etc. The person running the front was very kind and helpful as well! I had to leave the phone there overnight since I had to go to work and just now got the phone back with a brand new screen looking much better than before. NOTE: For anyone considering going here, they can only accept cash payments up to $25! Everything else has to be paid by card. I went in with the amount necessary in cash to be safe and was told the above information. Great place to come to not just for phones and definitely reasonably priced!

I couldn’t be any more appreciative of the professionalism of the Team at the RedMill UBREAKIFIX site. Chad led a 2-day effort to fox my daughter’s iPhone 11 which, unfortunately, had been irreparably damaged by an unrelated shop in Portsmouth during their repair attempt. Although initially charged for a repair of the casing, and after hours of attempting to fix the internals, the Team determined that the motherboard was damages beyond repair and refunded my money. Exceptional service! I hope not to need repair services again, but if I do, I’ll definitely return to this location!

Took my Samsung S7 Edge in for its second new screen (courtesy of a 4 year old who likes to drop test things). Staff was kind, friendly, and extremely helpful. My phone developed a network issue (Sprint) immediately after and they worked tirelessly to ensure my phone was fixed properly. They even called me back in after service to make sure it was done properly. Great customer service. I'll be back (but hopefully my kid will stop dropping my phone!).

Edit II: The owner reached out to me and was super understand and kind. They fixed my phone and did a great job! Thanks so much for great customer service. This is the UBreakIFix that I know and love. I called ahead of time to make sure that they could fix my iPhone screen because it was a long drive for me. She told me it would be an hour and I could come right in and offered me a price of $130. I got to the store the next day and they told me the price would be 20 more dollars but they honored my price. Then the worker proceeded to tell me that they were out of stock of the part. Super bummed. Edit: I changed my stars from a 1/5 to a 3/5 because the owner called me and apologized. He offered to fix the phone at a lower price as well. I wish that I would have been able to speak to him before and that workers would have had better communication. He was very kind.

Ryan is the nicest and honest manager, I have ever had the privilege of working with. He was caring, honest, and beyond helpful. I had multiple people tell me I had lost all of my files, when my phone crashed. He made sure, not only would he be able to get a backup of my files, but transferred everything (as it was!) over to my new device. I was in a bind, and he could have easily taken advantage of my situation, but he did not! No price gouging, and even told me his personal, the best and cheapest, option to do it! Just stopped in to have my husband's phone fixed since it was charging on and off. They were super helpful and quick. Cleaned all the dust out in the charging port and it's good as new. Didn't charge us either. Will be taking our phones in again if and when we have another issue.

Went here as opposed to using my insurance as the cost was about the same as my deductible, but turn around was same day. There was an unfortunate accident during the repair where the cable to my menu button was damaged. They had the part shipped overnight and gave me a discount. Then, the tech went way above and beyond to set me up with a loaner phone, as I need my device for work, even going to the sprint store with me to get the loaner activated correctly. Ryan S. you are a 10 star tech in my book! You put 200% effort into customer satisfaction.

I have insurance protection on my phone but I returned to this business because my own phone carrier said the phone was bent and couldn’t be repaired. Very good and fast and painless. Cesar G even priced match. My mom stepped on my iPhone XS and made a hairline crack across the top which messed with the Face ID aspect. I did not have it in a protective life proof or otter case. Cesar said it would take an hour. Left my phone and walked next door for my sons hair appt. which was done in 30min. Checked on Cesar and my phone was ready :) Face ID is back and works good as new! Highly recommend!

Excellent customer service!! My phone "died" last Tuesday, Edwin @ AT&T sent me to you guys & I left it with Chad during my lunch around 1 pm. I honestly thought my Samsung Galaxy S6 was a goner & I'd have to buy a new phone. Andrew & Joshua were excellent help! I brought in my wet Macbook air that Apple had just told me was a total loss and that replacing the parts would be $800. Not only that, they said that my drive was too damaged and that I had lost all my files. I called uBreakiFix in a last attempt to save my laptop. They offered me a free Water Damage Repair Diagnostic and told me if they didn't fix the problem there would be no charge. I handed them my laptop and they told me to expect a phone call 24-48 hours with an update. 5 hours later they called me and told me my laptop was fully functional and that all my files were fine! They explained the process and were really helpful answering my questions. Thanks guys! Fully recommend!

Brought my LG-XPower in to get the screen fixed. The screen is beautiful, looks brand new! But the speaker was not working (headphones worked fine) so I brought it nack the next day and they fixed free of charge in under 30 minutes! And not even close to expensive! The people were nice and did everything I asked. I shattered my Gold, Iphone 7 screen so I wanted to get a black screen to switch it up. The screen itself gives off a tint compared to other phones so I view pictures and colors differently on my phone. It is almost washed out of color. I talked to a tech. guy and he was going to send me to a different location but I live so far out! Guess I will just have to deal with it :( $111 wasted .

I have an iPad 6, and the screen got cracked. I took it here, they said it would be a day or so as they didn’t have the screen in stock. The estimate was $137. That’s all fine, I guess-annoying because on Groupon there are discounts for about half price for slightly older iPad.. The customer service was ok. I picked it up a few days later. I use this iPad for work and depend on it. Imagine my frustration and annoyance when there is a huge dead spot AND a piece of hair. Your only job is to replace screens. I understand human error... however these error does seem like it would taken into account to prevent issues. I did take it back and they promptly replaced it under their warranty. We do have choices for services like this, and next time I will go elsewhere.

I had a problem with my track pad on my MacBook Pro and I read the reviews, nothing but good things, right? Well, I did the free diagnosis and the new battery that they said I needed to fix the problem. I get home and my computer makes this growling sound and within 15 mins it's goes dead with a full battery.. I call them and they tell me to bring it back in, so I did. Whoever was working that day looked at it and changed some settings on it, that they could have just told me to do over the phone, and sent me on my way.. 'there should be all fixed now'.. I get back home and the same thing happens.. so I call them again and they tell me to bring it back in, it turns out they gave me a bad battery, after me paying almost $200 bucks and the commutes from downtown Norfolk, I was so fed up, but in the receipt it's states their are no refunds so they were GOING to fix the problem one way or another. Finally, my computer is not the same computer it was before, I've had it since 2009 and it's never had any type of work done until I put it in these guys hands.. also, my sound is not nearly as loud anymore. Smh. Will NOT be going back..

I brought my son’s iPhone 5 per Red Mill Verizon’s recommendation. Verizon switched out SIM cards and assumed that my son’s phone wasn’t working due to a bad attena. UBreakiFix did the same thing and determined the phone wasn’t broke at all and was working fine. Thanks for the recommendation Verizon and thanks for troubleshooting my son’s phone for free UBreakiFix. I’m glad u guys aren’t like car shops where they charge u over $69 just to troubleshoot.
