I needed an upgrade on my phone they looked at our account and helped me get a great phone for a little price with all the sales perck. And i didn't even know the sale was going on. Drew was super helpful and knowledgeable about their products. I definitely recommend this location
We got Drew and he fixed our phones in less than 15 minutes. I spent over 4 hours on the phone with Verizon customer service and kept getting people in training or people that would transfer me. I wish we just went to Drew cause he fixes problems ASAP. Great customer service and skills!
Gabe greeted us immediately and assessed our issues, the waiting time was not long at all and they were really busy. I felt bad because there were people coming in before closing and they had to stay after work to help them, when it can take up to 30 minutes to fix an issue with a phone. Gabe and Drew stayed and worked, they are the best!
They also have free wifi so you can still use your phone while you wait.
Not bad. I was impressed by the efficiency of the rep, but they definitely will not budge on pricing or making the customer feel like they had a world class customer service experience. When I worked in cell phone retail, there were ALWAYS things you could give the customer to sweeten the deal. There was NO focus on that at all. It was more implied that if you didn't like it, you could go somewhere else, ya plebe. Not an overall negative experience, but it could have been better
I bought a new phone online and ran in to an issue trying to transfer the sim and activation, it was super frustrating dealing with customer service and also sales people at another location downtown. Came here and Ben was willing to help and had a great attitude, it was easy to dial back my frustration while working with him. He never tried to sell me anything extra and it felt like he was doing way more than he was probably expected to get my phone back online. Great customer service, I'm grateful I stopped at this location and was able to get this resolved.
I went into this Verizon because I had not had a good experience at the Verizon in Arizona when I moved from Sugar House. The agent, Jen, was so courteous, professional, and knowledgeable that I came away knowing once again why I am a Verizon customer. I wish more businesses had people like her. Thank you so much, Jen.

We wanted to get new phones this year and decided to make the switch from T-Mobile to Verizon. The salesman there named Gabe was very helpful and gave us all the info and support we needed to switch over and leave with 4 new phones.
Never have I ever had such professional and efficient service at a Verizon location. I had an issue with my bill and a credit not being applied, I walked in and the store manager Jose addressed me immediately and helped me completely resolve the issue with the Loyalty Team.
My time at Verizon yesterday getting a new phone was the best experience I have had here. Tyler was super efficient, helpful, and got me in and out so quickly I was confused why I was done so fast. And that is totally awesome I didn't have to sit and wait forever! He asked me what I wanted, he got me into a plan that had a better package and wasn't trying to talk me into things I didn't need. This restored my faith in that store again! So happy!
The store is spacious and clean, and I was greeted promptly upon entering and put in the queue. It didn’t take more than 20 minutes for a representative to come and help me, even though they were pretty busy. Gabe was awesome! He found plenty of options for me which fit my criteria. We had an excellent conversation, and he even walked me to the door on my way out. Excellent customer service! Thank you!
My experience with this store has been amazing! I went into the store with a very difficult issue with my Verizon account. The manager Yasmine helped me to find a solution. She was determined to fix this issue and was very kind and professional about handling my unique problem. Once my issue was resolved, I was one happy customer. Thank you Yasmine and your crew for helping me.
The wait here is absurd, but Luis was great and able to fix my problem. He went above and beyond to get me taken care of. I was also impressed at how one of the managers handled an irate customer.
This is not a knock on this store, but Verizon's customer support online and over the phone is nothing short of infuriating. The wait time on the phone is ridiculous, and all the agents I've spoken with have been completely unhelpful. First my numbers didn't port (which Luis was able to solve--Thanks, Luis!), and now they have shorted me one of my rebates. No one seems to understand what to do. I have never dealt with worse customer service representatives on Verizon's chat lines and over the phone.
The first salesman was snippet and told me there is nothing they could do there. It would be about an hour to get someone to look at my phone. After I stood there for 15 minutes. Another salesman, Benjamin took my phone and had it restored in 5 minutes Benjamin was wonderful
Having been back and forth with a Verizon authorized retailer called Vectra (which apparently operate and do business differently) I finally got the help I needed at this Verizon location. At Vectra, I was being billed DOUBLE for my phone bill and every time I went in they kept saying it wasn’t their fault even though that is the location I ‘activated’ my phone. Long story short, I am pleased with the help provided. From the comments here, I can see it can get busy with absurd wait lines. I got lucky and got helped in less than 10 minutes. Really depends on the day and time. Thank you!
An extremely professional and customer oriented shop. I came in to fix an IPAD issue, and Jamie helped me get it done! Not only did he solve my problem, but also took the time to remove the bubbles from my IPAD! Now that is customer service. He was polite, thorough and very encouraging. Great staff and management.
Had to do an exchange for an online order. The host at the front door was there to immediately greet me and get me on the waiting list. The store followed all of the covid protocols and seemed safe and clean. Aaron helped me with the exchange, he was quick and professional and even helped me get the bubble out from my screen protector that I could not get out. I also want to give Aaron a shout out for going the extra step to help the customer before me who was an elderly man, he walked him to the door, held the door open for him and told him if he had any issues to come back and see him. My parents are older so I always appreciate when people are kind and patient with seniors! Great customer service Aaron!
Thank you Aaron. I have had a 12 month long issue with my bill for a phone. The first I stopped in I was told it was to soon and to wait three months, another time, after a lengthy visit is was supposedly fix. I waited another month with no results.
Finally, today Aaron was able to submit the required forms/information to correct the issue. I am truly impressed with how knowledgeable, courteous, efficient, and friendly Aaron is. My experience at the actual Verizon store, and with Aaron in particular, is the reason I prefer a "brick and mortar" store over online help. Thank you again for your help.
Make an appointment online to avoid waiting. This location is following COVID-19 precautions, limiting the number of customers in the store. Face mask protocols are being followed and I saw the employees clean the stations between new customers. I got great service and was in and out with what I needed in about a half hour. Keep up the good work!
Devin at Verizon Sugar house location did a great job, configuring my two Verizon phones to become hotspot and Bluetooth tethering capable & compatible with my Apple MacBook pro devices, diagnosing the Wi-Fi issues and solving them. I really appreciate it!

My husband and I came in to the store to upgrade my phone and to add my husband to my plan. Aaron was the associate that helped us and he was so helpful. He walked us through the entire process and what all our options were. He also offered us several promotions that we took advantage of. He explained the process and was very in depth about everything and made sure we were getting what we wanted and needed. We were very impressed with him and appreciated all his help. He was very personable and had great customer service skills. When we come back to Verizon we will definitely be asking for him again! Thank you Aaron for all your help!
I came into your store to upgrade my phone recently and worked with Aaron. I usually dread going through this process but my experience with Aaron was the best I've ever had at a Verizon store. He was friendly, helpful and fast. I didn't feel like I had to constantly decline sales pitches about other products and services I wasn't interested in (which is what I've come to expect). His only focus was helping us with the phone upgrade and was professional and personable throughout our whole interaction with him. He also made sure to follow all Covid protocols, even sanitizing any phone I wanted to look at before I touched it and making sure hand sanitizer was offered when we had to sign for the new phone on his iPad. Aaron is a huge asset to your store, I would work with him every time I come in if I could!
First, this might be the biggest Verizon store Ive ever seen. Second, its really busy - I did have to wait around 10 minutes to work with an associate after they took my name at the door. However, the associate was knowledgeable, polite and worked to get me an early upgrade to replace my stolen phone. I read the other reviews - did not have a pushy associate trying to get me to buy things. Overall, great experience.
Where do I begin? I had an unforgettable experience in this store. Not only was I greeted by Bridgette who smiled and made me feel warmly welcome, I also didn't have any wait time. Blair assisted us with our phone upgrade with exceptional customer service and sincere hospitality. Anyways, I didn't feel pressured or upsold. It was just a casual, FUN conversation. I was made aware of every option I had with the fabulous promotions they are currently offering. This was the best experience I've had with Verizon. Aaron came over after our transaction to ensure we left with all of our needs met. The team at the Sugarhouse Verizon are clearly experts who love their jobs and it resonates with the customer. The manager has clearly done an amazing job building the best Verizon team there is!
Aaron was fabulous! I'm a techtard and he didn't make fun of me at all! He was very helpful and patient and helped me get a phone that served my purpose and didn't try and make me upgrade to some crazy expensive phone that was beyond my needs. I highly recommend him and Verizon in general. I was greeted at the door and he helped me set up my new phone and took extra time with me making sure I downloaded all my pictures. Great customer service!
After reading reviews about this'll store I was nervous that it was going to be a bad experience. However, it wasn't bad at all. Cade greeted us with a smile as we walked in. He was extremely patient and very knowledgeable about the products. It was a pleasant experience switching to Verizon and buying two new phones. Give them a chance and you may be pleasantly surprised.
Update: I went in to switch my phones out and worked with Derrick. He was awesome. He helped switch my phone over, set up the necessary accounts and helped me pick out a new Tablet. So far I have been very impressed with the employees!

This is a review on this location itself. Good, knowledgeable staff. I knew exactly what I wanted to have done, and they were quickly able to help me switch my carrier to Verizon. They did not try to upsell me as soon as I made it clear I had my own phone and wasn't interested in another. My only complaint is that it took about 20 minutes for them to get to me, but overall it was a quick and relatively painless process to get everything taken care of.
Best store ever not taking my business to another Verizon. I had terrible experiences at the verizon on 3rd west ( victra) store not Costco location. Well I left a lovely review about that store. I would like to shoot out the Manager forgot her name. Cute lil blondie who took the time to listen to me and helped me within 10 min no problem got a phone sent to me overnight with no problems. Great customer service from the experience I just had. Never going to another store for any other issue I have. No matter the wait.
I'm surprised this store has less than 4.5 stars. I have visited this store at least 4 times the past year and have received wonderful 5 star service and support each time. I bought 2 phones and accessories and were delighted with the set up. Recently, I went into the store because I cracked my screen protector and was assisted by Thomas who was super caring and professional. I do recommend going here
Aaron DeCol at the Sugarhouse store is FANTASTIC! I had a huge account & billing problem (going on 5 months) and he took great care of me!! It took awhile to get it all sorted out but he was kind, patient, and understanding. Aaron is a great credit to Verizon - they are lucky to have such a talented employee!! Jem Keller
I have had mostly good experiences here. Just come in with the expectation that you will probably spend more time here than you expected. It’s just the nature of phones, they take a long time to set up. We also had a time where a rep added phone insurance to our plan without verbally telling us about it. I would have probably gotten it anyways, (and that’s why I’m keeping it 4 stars), but I just don’t like the fact that he did that without asking.
Aaron was incredible, damaged screen, he pulled up all available options and set an account and appointment up for me to get it fixed. Phone was fixed less than 24 hours later thanks to Ausioron and Aaron's help. Next time you stop in ask for Aaron, you're guaranteed the best customer service, Stay Smooth homie, appreciate you!
I was very hesitant to go into this store after reading all the bad reviews on Google, but I'm really glad I did. I worked with this gentleman named Cade, who was very friendly and very helpful. I knew what I wanted before I went in and he exceeded all my expectations. There were no hidden fees that people mentioned online, and the discounts I would have received online were still given. He recommended a few accessories and I picked out his suggested phone case while declining some other protection items. After some small talk he was to quick to pickup on the fact that I did not need my international plan anymore and he got that removed for me without me having to call the Verizon customer service number as I intended to later. This guy deserves no less than 5 stars.
I have no idea what these previous negative reviews are about. I walked into the location with a new device (which I had purchased outside of the store) as I had dropped my previous device in a river. The staff were very polite and attended to me almost immediately on a busy friday afternoon. I want to thank Miguel for his professionalism and helpful attitude in getting me activated promptly and efficiently. Another sales member then helped me continue to move all my old contacts onto my new device. They didn't try to sell me ANYTHING or push any sort of sleazy sales onto me. I must be going to a different store? It's worth noting this is one of only a few true Verizon corporate locations in SLC. Many of the others are actually franchise owned, and likely to shove extra fees down your throat. I will definitely be back here next time for my wireless needs.
I walked into AT&T and was turned down by a sales rep who was assertive enough to help me. I’m glad he did. I went and talked to Aaron and he was super helpful getting my existing accounts from AT&T and T-Mobile over to Verizon. He set me up with a wireless charger and cases that I preferred. This guy is the man! Thanks for the great experience Aaron!
I came in today to get my kids phones fixed. The phones haven't worked properly since we got them. Alondra Martinez was so pleasant and helpful and immediately knew what to do to fix the phones. Of all the times I've been in this store she is by far the best customer service I've received. I love my Verizon service and I was so grateful for such an easy fix. Thanks Alondra!!
In general I like the store and the people who work there. On the other hand, I bought a "Hum" device for my car. I tried it and felt it didn't do much more than my auto insurance already does. Much to my dismay, when I tried to return it and stop the monthly charges I was informed there was a $110 fee for breaking the contract. No one mentioned this fee when I purchased it. Don't waste your money!
I switched from an iPhone to the newest Samsung note at this location. Aaron and pablo spent total over 2 hours helping get all my stuff transferred over. They are the best and so patient! One of the best experiences there with then. Others in the store came and talked with me too to help us all past the time also.
I was recently at this location shopping for a new phone and it was a great experience. The set up is nice and the staff was very attentive and professional from the moment I walked in. Carlos, José, and Blair gave me outstanding customer service and answered the many questions I had while I made up my mind between devices. Also, they went above and beyond to make sure I got the best deals. Highly recommend it!
We typically have not had great experiences here with the personnel who need to acquire a few people skills. BUT, on our last visit we were helped by Aaron who did an outstanding job!
He was very personable and helpful, easy to understand, not pushy. No attitude or techno blah show-off; he listened and let us explain exactly what we wanted. I had no problem asking questions without being belittled or made to feel like an idiot. He even laughed with us, not AT us, about my stubborn husband's flip phone!

The parking lot for this strip mall is horrible and honestly makes me never want to go there, but that part isn’t Verizon’s fault.
5 STARS for T.J.!!! He was not high-pressure, knew what he was doing, turned me around in less than ten minutes and made my service work after the people on the phones, chat and email were frustrating, to say the least. T.J. turned this situation around.
I came in to get a new SIM card for my pre-paid phone, something T.J. was not going to make any money from. He never made me feel like I was a burden, of course he offered me options but when I said I didn't want to upgrade my service he was very helpful and stopped trying to upsell me. I think he understood that if I need something from Verizon in the future I will come to him. You should too.
I can understand that not everyone has a great experience at a cell phone stores, the business model is not designed around the customer and Verizon seems better at compartmentalization than good service. Having said that, I have had a really bad experience just trying to become a pre-paid Verizon customer and T.J. made my last stop in that painful journey a great ending! Where the people on the phones told me several different versions of what was possible, T.J. knew exactly how to solve my problem! He has a bright future and it's probably not at Verizon :)
Regarding Verizon, what can you say? Despite the bad customer service on their Customer Service call-in lines, they have superior coverage and some of the best LTE/4G speeds. While T-mobile chokes as soon as you get outside the city limits, Verizon actually works in a lot of remote places.
Greeted at the door by Aaron. Readily got to work on my issue. Friendly, professional. Able to diagnose my problem, did a soft reboot and phone is working perfectly. Very pleased with this store, Aarons help and how quickly issue was resolved. Thanks
Pablo helped me place an order for a new phone, order went through, but shipping address was wrong. It was quite an ordeal getting the address changed with customer service over the phone but Pablo Was very patient and communicated with customer service on my behalf and advocated in the best interest of having my package arrive to the correct address.
The store was very clean and although they were short staffed, the staff communicated that fact so there weren't any surprises. All of the customers received the proper attention. I was very satisfied with my experience.
I really like the customer service I recieve every time I come in to this verizon. They take your name and when it's your turn they sit and answer all my questions and dont try to rush me out the door if I'm not buying a new phone like other cell phone places . Great variety of accessories as well
TJ was extremely helpful, informative, quick and kind. I went in to switch from T-Mobile to Verizon and my first experience in this store was much better than what I've ever gotten at a T-Mobile store. Already happy I made the switch! :)
Damon Stump is the kindest, most knowledgeable agent we have ever had the pleasure of working with. He sincerely listens and genuinely attempts to exhaust all options when we have a problem, and sets plans and expectations for the future. We will never work with anyone else and will stay with Verizon, even though it is a more expensive option, because of the stellar service we receive from Damon at this location. Clint was awesome. After my girl friend had a major ordeal trying to order her iPhone 8+ Clint was able to save the day and get everything up and running. Glad to know they've got smart people willing to help at that store. Thank you.
Great experience, the waits are long because their sales staff is more helpful then all other cell phone stores I’ve been to. Things went smoothe yet again on my second visit within six months.
I went in to get a device change and an associate named Jonathon helped me. It turned out that the phone I brought in wasn't compatible with Verizon, but Jonathon went above and beyond trying to get it to work for me. He was friendly, competent and professional and I sincerely appreciated the effort he put in to trying to help me.
The manager himself spent nearly two hours taking care of a problem that I have had with my phone. He was so patient and kind, I will always do business with him. We was incredible!!
I was only in the store 5 min which is unusual for this location. Usually they are slammed. They overnighted my replacement phone and it was a painless process. Don't bother with the 3rd party dealers, go to the real VZW store here.
Four stars are only for Travis Dixon who was immediately responsive, patient, and pleasant when I needed help with my new Galaxy S7. (He could have "shut down" like his co-worker who approached me at the same time, then heard me say I wasn't buying.) These folks work on commission--not a good business model.
I always have a good experience here but today was an exception, Aaron was extremely helpful and professional offering honest advice with super low pressure. Such a great experience buying a new phone.

My representative Wade (Phillip) was such a great help! We had a rough start but he turned the whole experience around. I left with my new phone & a new person I will use as my "go to". After getting not so correct information the first time from a different rep & not having such a good experience, I was hesitant but I am glad I ended up with Wade! Ask for him!

Quick and friendly service. I struggle to apply screen protectors and they installed my screen protector for me. They even offered to install any other future screen protectors, even if they were purchased elsewhere.

Thank you CHANCE! We went in to complete our trade-in from a different provider and Chance was quick and helpful! One of the promotions wasn’t showing up correctly so he promised to call the next day to confirm he fixed it. We just assumed we’d need to follow up because no one ever calls, but the next day he called me in the morning confirming he fixed the issue.
