Excellent business! I went in just now because my iPad charger was blocked and I could figure out if it was damaged or was a simple fix. The gentleman at the front was able to quickly identify what was wrong and repair it on the spot. No extensive check in process or waivers, just great customer service and basic kindness. I’ve been putting it off for months. They were also able to save all my photos and data for a very low fee two years ago when my phone broke in half while rock climbing. I can’t thank the guys at Bad Apple enough. My IPhone X screen stopped working and took it in for a screen replacement which was done within a couple of hours. After repair, we realized that there was a secondary problem with the motherboard that was terminal. The screen on my phone was falling any time that it was held past the vertical axis. I had talked to other repair shops and the cellular service provider, and all told me to buy a new phone. I like my current phone, it does what I need and want. I had seen the Sugarhouse location and thought I might as well try them, even though my phone isn't an IPhone. I walk in and was greeted immediately. I explained the issue and within 15 minutes they had fixed my phone. They were quick, professional, and they didn't charge me a fortune. I know that I will return there if I ever have an issue with my phone or laptop. I would suggest that you start there and save your time and money.

I had a phone screen replaced at a different store. A bunch of debris had gotten into the selfie camera after the repair so I took it to this shop. They were concerned about taking the screen off because it is so thin it could break. So instead of just going for it they handed me back my phone and ordered in a replacement screen. They received the screen and had me come into have them do the cleaning and the screen did break so they needed to replace it. This is all under a warranty and I was so happy to get my phone back with a crystal clear selfie Cam and a brand new screen. I was very happy with their communication and explain things to me without making me feel stupid. I will be back thank you again

My iPhone hadn't been charging properly, even though I had cleaned out the charging port with a toothpick. I took the phone into Bad Apple Sugarhouse expecting to pay about $50 to get the charging port repaired, but I was pleasantly surprised when Dan Kemp was able to solve the problem by doing a better cleaning of the port. The phone charges with no problem now and it only cost me $0.00 for the cleaning. I couldn't recommend these people more highly. Dan Kemp was very competent and pleasant to talk with. They are lucky to have him as an employee.

Fantastic experience here tonight. Had a dead screen and no back up of the phone. Neither AT&T nor another "name brand" phone repair store would help me except new phone/screen for $200+. Cameron rapidly understood the situation and was able to transfer all my data off the old phone and wipe it for me without selling me a new screen. I assumed I’d be paying for an entirely new charging port which is expensive, but Dan at Bad Apple was able to use his tools to get the piece of metal that was stuck inside the charging port out! These guys are awesome! I’ve had them fix multiple devices and they’re always the best priced and do quick, quality work. Today I gave them an iPhone to fix the sleep and volume buttons. When I went to pick up the phone they informed me that the wiring was simply loose and fixed it for free! They could have easily charged me full price or even a discounted price, but chose to be honest and create a loyal customer instead. I won’t take my devices anywhere else. I was originally quoted over $100 at other cell phone repair shops, a couple of them not even having the correct parts to do the picture transfer that I needed done on my busted iPhone 6S (Screen shattered and completely disconnected from the actual phone.) I called Bad Apple and they quoted me a fraction of that over the phone. They were the obvious choice. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. There were a couple people ahead of me, so I waited about an hour. SO worth the wait, though. I finally got the pictures back from a busted phone that I had taken to several other places over a weeks time with no success. I also had one of the employees put on a tempered glass screen protector- he did a perfect job. I wish I would have grabbed the staffs names so I could be more specific, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place, nonetheless.

Honestly, 2 years ago the 4th south location did me a solid and that made me want to come back. Now, I want to give credit to Collin. Collin, and the 2 others that were there at the time, Kristen and Josh, we're all very nice and very helpful. I came in for a repair and after speaking with Collin for a bit, I decided to go ahead and replace my phone and get a used one there. This company is fantastic with customers, and I truly appreciate the honesty I received from everyone there. Thank you all so much... great service and a very respectful crew in that store for sure. I was helped by a younger guy at the front desk and he was extremely helpful and fixed both of my problems no charge! The microphone was unclear so he explained that it was actually the top microphone that needed cleaned (I originally came in to have the bottom ones replaced) The mic is now crystal clear. And then the vibrate on my phone would make a bunch of racket, so he popped the screen off and the screws were just loose! It’s like I have a new phone now! Thanks guys! Will definitely return.

Normally I dont write reviews, but I just wanted every one to know what a super great experience I had when I visited the Bad Apple on 723 East 2100 South. I had a LG V10 that had the dreaded Boot Loop problem. I couldn't get into my phone and since I own a business lost nearly 5000 contacts which I had collected over 10 years. So Fernando the manager who is a real genius, took the time to research how others had dealt with the issue. Needless to say he found a way to get it working for about 5 minutes, which was enough time to retrieve my contacts. Fernando was great to work with, had a lot of patience and empathized with me, since he had the same issue. So if any one is out looking for a great company and a great friendly person to work with I would highly recommend Fernando and this store. They are fast and efficient and do a great job. Thanks. Normally don't leave reviews, but had to since the guy working wouldn't let me pay him. My phone wouldn't charge, knew it had to do with the port. AT&T just wanted me to buy a new phone, I knew simply mac would charge way too much. Tried cleaning it myself with no luck. The guy working pulled so much dirt out and then just hung out and chatted with me while we waited for it to charge. Good as new now, and all for free. My brother recommended them after they replaced his battery and I'll recommend them to anyone with an out of warranty phone. Really friendly worker.

My son and I have used Bad Apple services over the years and have always walked in with a problem and walked out happy. They provide fast, professional service at a reasonable price. Last Monday I walked in with my iPhone 6 that had recently developed a mind of its own and was typing gibberish instead of what I wanted typed. Would highly recommend! Went in to replace my charging port on my 6s. Figured I had damaged the port when replacing the screen myself a day earlier. Upon returning, the employee , Cal , informed me that I had mistakenly reattached one of the battery components the wrong way. Cal fixed the issue at no cost! I had cracked my IPhone 6 Plus screen and I was in a real somber mood. As soon as I walked in the Bad Apple Store, the service guy was real friendly and put my apprehension to rest. He worked on my phone right away and half hour later my phone was good as new. He also suggested to use a tempered glass screen protector on my phone to help protect it from future damage. I agreed and was surprised that they had the cheapest deal in town for that accessory with a lifetime guarantee that is taken care of in that store (every other store has that same accessory for almost double the price with no guarantees included). So overall great service with a competitive price - what else can you ask for.

Wow! What a great experience. I went into Bad Apple today, heart broken about my phone being broken. I was greeted by a wonderful employee by the name of Josh! He told me not to worry and everything would be okay, even though the screen on my phone was unusable and shattered. I came here to get my screen repaired and not only was it simple, but it actually felt good. The staff made me feel very welcome and didn't waste any time getting to work on my device. I mentioned a failing charging port and despite thinking it was on it's way out, the staff here was able to clean the port rather than replace it. I was having trouble getting my Iphone 6 to charge up so my first thought was to take it to T-mobile where I bought the phone. Since it wasn't under warranty they suggested I take it to an Apple store. This wasn't very convenient at that moment given the late hour, the distance I'd have to travel and the uncertainty of whether it was a major or minor problem. Since Bad Apple was just across the street in Sugar House I decided to see if they could help. Within 5 minutes Cal had cleaned out my charging port with some special tools he had, and like magic the phone was charging properly again. He didn't even charge me anything for the service. I was amazed as I would have been happy to pay a fair fee to restore the phone to working order. What a great experience! I would definitely give them my business in the future. I brought an iPhone 7 in seeking a replacement for a cracked glass front panel. The display & touchscreen underneath remained fully functional, but the employees said it all needed to be replaced since it comes as a package. I appreciated the new glass panel, but the replacement screen is not completely on-par with the original screen. The new screen's colors are less vibrant, the new touchscreen will sometimes "press" a certain spot on the screen repeatedly when fingerprints accumulate, and there are intermittent issues with certain spots of the screen (keyboard region) becoming unresponsive to touch. The phone works well 90% of the time, but occasionally these intermittent problems become very disruptive and difficult to fix.

My iPhone screen was coming unattached to the rest of the phone. Hard to describe what was happening. I originally took it into the Apple Store. After waiting to talk with someone, they looked at it and told me I would need to make an appointment in 2 days and come back and then they would be able diagnose it and tell me a price. So I did. However, I never came back for the appointment. I called bad apple and talked to Josh. I explained what was happening and he told me to come over and he would take a look. Just over the phone he thought he knew was wrong. I thought, 'why not I'll give them a try.' I go into the store, Josh looks at my phone and within 10 seconds he says 'I can fix this.' It took him about 3 minutes to put more super glue under the screen, and boom goes the dynamite my phone was fixed. Josh at Bad Apple was a lot of help. I would definitely use their service again.

The provider directed me to Bad Apple thinking I may need a new charging port. When I went to Bad Apple they said one moment and they checked my phone. There were no issues with the port. I dropped my I phone 4 with a really busted screen into the tub. And being dumb, I quickly dried it off with a towel and continued to use it for about 5 minuets until it shut down. As I was googling how to do the rice trick, I read that you should absolutely not try and use the phone after it was submerged in water. So My chances of getting it restored kept getting smaller and smaller. Anyway, After about 72 hours in rice, the phone wouldn't do anything so I took it into Bad Apple on 2100 south 7th east (after hearing about it on x96) Colin helped me out and was super kind. He told me he would check it out and let me know in a couple of hours. He called after about 30 min and told me he had it up and running. I was so excited! I was visiting slc and I smashed my phone in the car door. it was a mess! Case bent, SIM card tray bent and not seating, screen unusable and smashed to a million pieces. I couldent get a new phone at att so I was lead to bad apple. Cameron had me swapped out with a new screen, was able to bent the case back and load the sim, and he even helped me out with a new speaker and proximity sensor since mine were toast. If you, say, hit the phone with a 40lbs sledgehammer, the phone would be....Beyond saving. I have been here before, my girlfriend bought a phone from them, and has had no issues, on top of that, the screen protector she got from them has saved her phone twice, and they replaced it for only $5 each time.

My iPhone 6 Plus started acting up yesterday. Cody was eager to help. Found some slight water damage around the home button. He gladly backed up my data (which I'd been too lazy to do) and then performed an admittedly risky procedure by disconnecting the battery in order to power the phone down. The long and the short of it is they refused to let me pay. Too bad more businesses aren't in the business of grooming customers in this fashion instead of the default or forced sale. Excellent customer service. I was greeted immediately. There worked tenaciously with great enthusiasm trying to trouble shoot a problem with my SIM card that we could not figure out for a second. They actually stayed an extra hour after closing trying and successfully resolving the problem. I brought my unresponsive broken phone to Apple Store at Fashion Place Mall and they told me they couldn't fix it (with no real examination of the problem) and could only give us theories of why the phone was broken. Apple Store advised us to swap it for a different one for 299 bucks. I then brought it to Bad Apple. They not only were able to diagnose the problem really fast (dead battery), but they also fixed the problem in 10 mins at a very low cost. The phone is working like new again. I took my iPhone 5s in to have the screen replaced because of it responding erratically to my scrolling motions. When "my phone" wouldn't turn back on after installing the new screen, the guy helping me indicated that Bad Apple was going to make it right either by getting me a loaner phone until it was fixed or a new phone since it broke while in their care. After working on it for a few more hours, they realized my phone had actually gotten mixed up with someone else's phone. They were extremely apologetic, but the entire situation was just comical to me. To make up for their mistake and since they weren't sure replacing the screen would correct the problem, they replaced my screen for free with an actual Apple screen they had on hand. So happy with this store. I took my LG G3 into the south jordan location to get a new screen and lcd. Well when I got it back from them it still was not working. They no longer had the parts so I ended up bringing it to this one along with my grandpas ipad he desperately needed fixed. The guy there was very friendly when we took it in and dropped it off. I was unable to pick it up today due to being home with my sick daughter. My grandma brought it to me with a case on the back they put on there since my daughter destroyed the back of my phone totally fixed and working like a champ.
