Airlink is my goto for used phones and repairs. I have been using Airlink's for my phone needs since my second phone. Screen repairs and over the years used phone. I always get good advice and speedy quality work. The owner is great, he is always happy to help. I recommend Airlink to my clients when ever I see a broken screen on their phones.

When I tripped and fell while holding my phone, I immediately knew it was totally broken. I was definitely a little panicked, not knowing where to even start, but once I walked into AirLink, I was immediately put at ease. Never have I received such kind service from anyone. Got a phone for a what felt like a steal, 30 day warranty if there was anything wrong with it. The owner Minh was super nice and extremely helpful, even replacing the screen of my old phone temporarily so I could transfer my data to the new one. Next time catastrophe strikes, I won't freak out, I'll know where exactly where to go.

My phone fell out of my pocket while I was riding my bike and then a car ran over it. The screen was shattered. I thought for sure it meant that I would need a new phone but my daughter suggested that I go to the Airlink store on SE 19th Ave. in Portland, OR. Minh, the proprietor, said that there was no visible life in it but, in his experience, it would probably work. He offered to repair it and, if it still didn't work, he would not charge me. I went back the next day and it worked!!! He was right. Needless to say, I was so grateful that I did not have to buy a new phone. Minh is a gracious, generous and kind person. I highly recommend his store.

Minh is one in a million. It took me a second to write this review, because he did such a good job I wanted to sit down and write something that did him justice. He was incredibly courteous over the phone when I asked for a quote and contacted all his suppliers to get me the best deal, he reached back out in about 30 minutes with a quote for $290 to replace my cracked S20 Ultra 5G Black Screen. When I had asked this of the bigger retailers before, who quoted me around the same price range or more, they said they couldn't even get my screen in to replace it. On top of that these bigger retailers weren't willing to let me keep my old screen as a backup due to some contract (it still functions, but one more hit and it's toast). Minh is a wizard and removed everything completely intact for me to keep as a backup just in case. Not only is his location one of the most convenient in Portland, but he got the job done 10 minutes earlier than he promised and took my unlock code (after asking my consent) over the phone to make sure everything functioned properly. I could not recommend someone more. Minh thoroughly answered and solved any issues I had, he and his team are true professionals. Pics of my old well-preserved screen are in this post.

I had a broken iphone. Minh was very helpful with advice on whether to fix it or get a new one. While I was trying to decide the phone froze up completely. I needed to replace the phone and somehow Minh was able to transfer all my data from my old frozen phone to the new one. His prices are very reasonable. I seriously can’t say enough about how good this spot is. I’ve gone to him to replace a charging port, 2 batteries, a screen, fix a home button, and something else I can’t remember. Once, whatever hardware he put in was defective, so he took one out of a new phone to make sure I had one that worked for a road trip. And rushed the job so I wouldn’t have to leave any later! He’s quick, inexpensive, does great work, doesn’t try and sell you anything you don’t need, and is all around a cool guy. 5 stars isn’t enough. Airlink is the spot if you need your phone fixed.

After purchasing a new mobile device yet maintaining the same phone plan, I was not able to send or receive mms (images, files, group messages) via text. After unsuccessfully attempting to have the issue resolved over the phone with my carrier's customer service representatives, I finally went to Airlink and the problem was rapidly identified and fixed! I was especially impressed the gentleman's friendliness and professionalism. He also assured me, upon taking my cell phone, that he wouldn't charge me for his time or labor unless he was able to solve the problem.

I smashed my iphone (again) this morning. The touch screen stopped responding so I had no choice but to get the screen replaced. I was intimidated by how much it might cost and how long it might take, but it was less than $100 and took less than an hour. When I came back to pick it up, the owner greeted me with my first name, which I think is a simple, yet significant friendly gesture. My phone was brand new again, and he even gave me a screen protector for free. Thank you so much! I will definitely be back next time I do something stupid to my phone.

This place is legit. Minh is awesome and took great care of me. He was honest, knowledgeable and very kind. He actually went out of his way to help me recover my photos and videos from my Galaxy Note 2 that had gotten soaked on Splash Mountain at Disneyland since the phone had been damaged beyond repair. He even stayed after hours to make sure I had everything I needed off the phone and that I was completely satisfied. I would definitely recommend this place 100%.

Great diagnosis, quick response times, unbeatable pricing, and top of all, great domain knowledge. Minh was an absolute delight to work with. I had a Google Nexus 6 that wouldn't charge. I took it to Minh. He said he'd charge $20 to identify whether it was an issue with the battery or the charging port as those are the most common issues. A day and a half later, he said they were both broken. But he only needed to fix the battery, as there charging port was too tiny to solder. He offered a wireless charging pad as an alternative. On the day of picking it up, he allowed me to try my own wireless charger and just charged me for fixing the battery. Total cost: $70! I was expecting a couple of hundred at least.

My fairly-new $600 Motorola smartphone had a completely shattered glass face, and my carrier's insurance deductible was $150 if I wanted to send it in for a replacement. Because the glass face was busted, I could not "unlock" the phone to access or backup any of my data. Instead of replacing it, I called Airlink based on a recommendation from a friend, and Minh had the phone fully repaired and ready for pickup in a couple days (he said he had a backlog of orders to process, but 2 days is certainly a shorter wait than what I was expecting :-). His fee was less than a hundred bucks, which is cheaper than any quote I got from internet-based phone repair companies and cheaper than my insurance deductible, and his repair work was Guaranteed for months. It was much better than an insurance replacement, in my opinion, because my phone still had all its data/profiles intact. I would highly recommend Airlink in Portland to anyone with phone damage.

This wireless store is definitely the best I have been to in the Portland area. Smaller business like this one I rate on a few things, the most important is how fare they are. I come here because the owner of the store can make the impossible happen. I have used Airlink for many years now and there is no one as fare as they are. I go here for all my cell phone related problems. The place does everything - from selling imported phones to repairing them. I also know that other mobile phone businesses subcontract their work (e.g. repairs and unlocking) to Airlink because they cannot do it in-house. Best of all, Airlink is the only company in town that I know of that does not charge you (including labor cost) unless they perform the service and fix the issue as promised.

Answer their phones, Return phone calls ( hence their Voicemail is FULL and Cannot accept new messages) and frankly feel like they just decided to NOT work on my phone after leading me to understand that things will be just fine and they knew what was wrong. Love it. I understand there are only about 3 shops from Salem to Vancouver that do the level of repairs Minh does at AirLink Wireless. There are many shops that repair small electronic devices like cellular telephones, but many send the more complicated and difficult repairs to Minh. One shop sent a phone I had for repair to Minh and another time they had me take a phone that needed repair to Minh. He told me that Minh does good work and Minh would take care of me. Both times the repairs the other shop tried to make and could not, but Minh successfully made the repair on each telephone.

My name is Andrew, For the last 4+ years I've utilized the Excellent Hardware and Software support from Mihn & Thomas here at Airlink. Initianall, My handset was an HTC HD2 on T-Mobile network. The operating system Windows Mobile, I wanted to convert to Android. I came to Airlink, and the next day it was done. That job cost me only $40. On another occosaion, I needed to unlock the Network Carrier and phone function on my Samsung Galaxy Tab. I wanted to change my Tablet from T-Mobile to AT&T. Again, I came to Mihn & Thomas at Airlink and just like tha, problem solved. And recently, I needed to unlock My AT&T Samsung Infuse 4G so I could use it on Simple Mobile network. I said it once, and I'll say it again. The guys at Airlink can fix any and all of your phone problems, Hardware and Software. My name is Andrew, And That's The Truth!!!

I came to Oregon from overseas and purchased a 30-day SIM card plan (unlimited calling / unlimited texting / unlimited international texting) from Airlink (US$40) to use for the month I would be staying in Portland. Unfortunately, at Airlink I found out that the tri-band phone I brought with me would not work in the USA (as the US has gone to quad-band). ML, the owner of Airlink, immediately pulled a flip-phone off the shelf and offered it to me free of charge for the duration of my stay. For a US$20 deposit, he gave me the phone and charger to use, asking that I drop it off before I left town. Now THAT is customer service! Thank you ML.
