I’ve used this business for a couple screen repairs and some other repairs to iPads, etc. I’ve always been satisfied with the service and product. One of the screens I replaced developed a big black spot a few months after installation. They stood behind their product and replaced it without any fuss and completed the work in less than an hour. I hope to not need any more repairs but if I do, I will continue to use them.

I'm very impressed with the way the technician Nick was able to find a problem that prevented our iPhone from opening. We thought the family photos were lost forever because something had got stuck in the dev ice and nothing we did got it to work , so we set it aside for a few years , and had taken it to a couple places and no one could solve the issue. He was very knowledgable and explained the way to take care of it if it happens again. Then we decided to get a new screen because the old one was cracked and he replaced it in a really short amount of time. Thank you so much.

Update: Didn’t receive the best service last time I went through. Both guys got pretty sassy up front. Don’t know if it’s stress from them moving or what. Also, I guess they’re mailing checks instead of giving them at the POS when selling your phone to them. Would be nice if they updated and included there policy online. They treated me like I was “sketchy” even though I’m properly dressed and don’t look like I live on the corner of the street. Old: These guys seem very reasonable with buying and selling prices. Very polite experience with good communication. I’ll definitely return to an honest business like them.

Shattered my screen on my week old new Motorola OneAce5g phone they were the only place I was able to find to replace the whole screen cheaper than any other place! Instead of paying $200-$300 I paid $130! The only thing that sucked was it was going to take 2 hours to fix and I wasn't able to get there with enough time for it to be done and get it back before they closed so I had to wait till the next day to pick it up! It definitely wasn't fun not having a phone for just about 24 hours but it was worth it because they did an awesome job and it looked brand new again! I will definitely go back if I need anymore repairs done! The staff were very nice and knowledgeable! Definitely pleased with the overall experience!

I needed to repair a cracked screen on my 6s+ before I had to send it in for a trade-in so I was a little wary on how much the cost would be. Scott was super helpful and offers 3 different price points that fit based on your needs and time. The cost was affordable and he even checked the phone for any problems before I had to send it to the carrier as a second opinion if the value of my trade in was changed upon receipt. He even informed me on the issues the Xs Max had when it first came out since I have one as a heads up. Definitely recommend and always support your local businesses!

I called last Saturday and the store was closed. I was surprised to receive a phone call from them Monday morning. Cassie followed up the missed call. She was very helpful and polite. Today, I brought my iPhone 6 to fix the LCD and both John and Scott were very nice. John took care of the iPhone super quick, in less than 15 minutes was ready with lifetime warranty! I have been going here for years and always have a great experience at this store. Scott and the rest of the staff are prompt, helpful and always professional. I recommend them to my family and friends and trust them with all our family's devices. The only thing you should know is that if you want it done in 15 min you do have to pay $20 more. I think that is typical with repair places so I generally opt for the 1 hr option and either run errands or eat a burrito next door.

My phone battery was no longer holding a charge. The battery was dead. Sprint store repair wanted it left all day, drop off early and pick up by 6pm, and a price of $175. I brought my Iphone to Hypertech to have the severely fractured back glass case replaced. The replacement aftermarket case was flawless and looked great and the price was beyond fair. Unfortunately that evening I experienced issues with my phone. I brought it back a couple of times because the problem was “intermittent”. Having owned my own repair shop for 25 years I had grown to hate the word intermittent. I also know that no matter your care and training mistakes happen. This is the time a business with integrity rises to the top and makes the customer better than whole. This is exactly what Bob Brennan the owner did.They purchased a used Iphone X in perfect condition. They then put a brand new battery in it(my old phone was at 80%) and delivered it to my house where Scott reprogrammed it. Would I do business with Hypertech again? Of course I would and did. They have my wife’s phone now.

I was quoted over $120 at a different repair shop over the phone, and Angel (the employee I worked with) had the part in stock so it was a fraction of the price to fix. Most Current Review updated 12/22/20: These are great people to work with. Their extensive experience and helpful knowledge with electronic products is quite evident. The prices for performing equipment repairs and battery replacements are very reasonable. Also, many services such as a battery replacement can be performed while you wait. It's reassuring to know that Helpertech is available to support my tech needs. From Previous Review: I visited the Eagan, MN location today to replace the battery on my iPhone. The holding capacity had diminished and required constant charging. The cost was $29.00 plus tax. It only took about 5 minutes and I was on my way. Unlike the Apple Store, no appointment or waiting is required for immediate service. I also learned something today from Scott at Helpertech: My iPhone screen was bulging outward and it has been for quite sometime. Scott explained that is a telltale sign of a failing battery that is expanding in size and pushes up on the screen. I thought I had somehow previously bent the phone housing, which made the screen pop-out. Besides Scott, I have also worked with Jayme, Cassie and Brett for repairing other tech equipment, as well as purchasing lightning cords, an iMac and other equipment. They stand behind their work and provide prices that are very reasonable, especially when compared to other facilities.

I had purchased a laptop from Helpertech recently, and although at first use it appeared to work properly, I soon encountered a couple problems with it. I spoke with a gal by the name of Cassie, who had told me that the manager/owner (cannot remember which) had left for the day, and that to receive a complete refund for the item (because it was still under warranty) I would have turn in the laptop and wait until at least the next day. I explained how I had used the laptop for work, and needed to submit materials the following morning. Cassie then called the individual at home, and issued me a full refund within minutes. This is the kind of customer service you can't top. There is a reason why Helpertech is rated 4.8 stars with over 400 reviews. Thank you again.

Scott at Helpertech was super friendly and knowledgeable, I've have my Iphone 6 screen fixed here and he was able to fix my broken screen in just 15 minutes! They are always prompt and helpful here. I had a busted battery that I had taken to Apple and they were ready to charge me $ 230 because I had my phone previously fixed by a "third party" and they didn't repair apple products that were repaired elsewhere. My phone is bent , after the dog went after it , but they replaced a demolished screen and my 6 plus still works . 3 years later , I show with a bad battery ( I’ve done that twice before ) don’t leave it plugged over night, not only did they replace the battery , but the screen as well ......never asked them to do that , but they did due to a cracked screen at no charge . Just the charge for battery . I do not even live nearby, takes 25 to drive there , but still the same knowledgeable people running it and well worth my time . My iPhone 6 was switching into Headphone mode. This occurred erratically and without my doing anything to cause it to happen. This resulted in my not to be able to hear anyone on my phone (as I was not using a headphone or earbuds when it would happen), although my caller could hear me. This caused many problems. It also meant I couldn’t hear Siri or GPS instructions. Critical! Scott solved the problem and did so quickly. It was fixed the day I brought it in and within an hour. Scott is easy to work with, courteous, quick and thorough. Helpertech warranties their work for 90 days and they stand by that warranty. Because of the age of my phone and how much it has been used and abused, another issue popped up after Scott fixed the “Headphone Mode” problem. As soon as I called Scott he said to bring the phone in, which I did and he fixed the secondary problem immediately. I highly recommend Helpertech and Scott in particular.

Took my Samsung Note 4 to have the charge port replaced. New port worked fine, but they broke the screen in the repair process. 1 week wait to order a new screen (they did not charge me for the screen). Phone put back together and got no reception. Took it back and they replaced charge port again (antenna is attached to charge port). Broke the screen in the process again, 1 week wait for new screen. Phone put back together and volume buttons and softkeys do not work properly (phone has reception but immediately falls to zero when making a call). Took phone back to have reassembled, broke screen in process, 1 week wait for new screen. Total of 4 weeks without a phone. Now I have one that cannot make or receive calls indoors due to poor/limited reception. Hardware blames provide, provider blames hardware. Now I have a 5.4 inch tablet. Waiting it out until upgrade in August. Having said that, the staff is EXCELLENT! Very knowledgeable and attentive techs. Kept in contact with me every step of the way. The problem is that they do not stock Samsung parts. Also, the Note 4 is like 3 years old now so I can understand why they wouldn't keep parts on hand. If you have an iPhone however, this is the place to take it. Choose between new and used parts, lifetime warranty, 15 minutes service since parts are well stocked, lots of freebies with purchase. The young lady who worked on my phone was friendly, professional, and devastatingly good looking (not that that has anything to do with service). Overall, I highly recommend this place if you have an Apple product of any kind. Otherwise, be prepared to wait for parts to ship.

I originally started off at gophermod and as much as I dont like throwing people under the bus I have had numerous issues at gophermod from previous experiences ( Nice people though at gophermod). From my original conversation with Helper Tech on the phone, it was great. The confidence from the begining was there from start to finish. I needed numerous things done on my phone that they put great attention to. I wont lie, I was loosing confidence till I came into this store and we went over a couple of options. We crashed through the doors on Scott at 545pm yesterday (they close at 600pm) on a snowy MN day. He never batted an eye, he took a look at our phone (iPhone 8) with a pretty much demolished screen and after a short inspection said "I can take care of that; it will take about 15 minutes. And it did, 15 minutes. After taking a look, he also asked if there were battery life issues (which there were) because the battery was expanding; he took care of that too (all in 15 minutes!). He then answered our questions and patiently worked with us as we picked out a few accessories (you get 'free stuff' with your repair!). Never once did I feel rushed or pressed even though we were pushing past the 600pm closing time. I think this was the 4th repair we've had done at the Eagan location, and I have no reason to go anywhere else! Thanks Again, Scott, for a job well done!
