This team is great. I came in a few months ago and had issues with my iPhone loosing connection to my CarPlay. I thought I'd need a new lightning port and brought it in for diagnosis. 5 minutes later along with a firm handshake they cleaned out my phone and had no problems since. I came in last week for a new battery on my iPhone 11. Since I came in near closing time they said they'll send me an email the next day when I can pick it up. They delivered on time and walked through everything with me to make sure it all worked (mic, speaker, camera, etc...) 10 outta 10 would recommend

I went in to get my son’s phone fixed. He happened to break off the tip of the charger and it got stuck inside the port. The guy tried to get it out, but was not able to. He said he could fix it by replacing the port, but he would need to fix it the next day. It cost about $100. I told him to go ahead. I got a phone call the next day by a guy named Joey. He said that he tried to pull out the tip and was successful. He refunded me all the money. I highly recommend this place.

Great staff, great services. I would 100% recommend this place. Sucks having to get your phone fixed. But they are quick, and understanding.. I would definitely go here to fix future products. I went to Gophermods because my iPhone XR charging port had grown increasingly unreliable and was getting to where I wasn't sure each time that I could get it to take and start charging. I walked in and said I need a repair, replacement, or cleaning. Owen took a look and determined that I could get by with a cleaning. He went ahead and started cleaning it. A couple of minutes later he came back, plugged it in and verified it now worked, and then handed it back to me. I asked how much and he said that cleaning was no charge. They easily could have told me it needed a replacement and charged a few hundred dollars. Thanks Gophermods and Owen for treating me more than fairly and for simply and quickly solving my problem!

Working from a description and MacBook Pro error text, the Gophermods tech correctly diagnosed my issue via email. At the same time, I was told the part was available from vendor stock, when it would be shipped and received, and how long my device would be in shop. When it was ready, I was notified immediately via. During pickup, the rep stepped through functionality testing with me and fully explained the manufacturer's one-year parts warranty. My device was unfortunately unable to be repaired but Gopher Mods was wonderful to work with. They responded quickly when I initially reached out and also had great communication throughout the duration of their services. I was initially charged $29 for a diagnostic assessment of my device, and quoted at up to $168 if my device were to be repaired, which the diagnostic fee would also be deducted from the total. When I went to pick my device up, I knew it hadn’t been able to be repaired (it had sustained significant water damage) but I still expected to be charged something...nope, the $29 I originally paid was all! I would definitely recommend Gopher Mods!

Couldn’t have been easier or quicker. I stopped in to have an iPhone 8 Plus screen replaced simply for trade-in, expecting a bit of a hassle I suppose. Instead, we were greeted quickly and pleasantly, given a reasonable wait time (90 mins), and off we went. To my surprise, we were called about 45 mins later saying the phone was ready! When I came in to pick up the phone, Emma helped me and was incredibly polished and knowledgeable when walking me through the post-install process, and was delightful. We’ll definitely use Gophermods again.

I shattered my iPhone screen about 1 hr before they closed and brought my phone over immediately. While I left them with just about 45 minutes to fix it and they normally require an hour, the associate took on the job anyways and got it back to me just before close. Great quality work at a fair price with great customer service as well. Hopefully I don’t need to use their services often but if I do it’s good having them nearby!

When I got there the guy immediately checked it and determined it just needed cleaning so 2 minutes in the back and he had it done for me for no charge. My experience with Gophermods has been amazing. I am a returning customer! My PS3 went out this summer, and for a cheap price they were able to repair it no problem! Also, I had dropped my phone in the toilet and it had water damage, and a purple screen, I thought the phone was done for. I received a phone call from Gophermods shortly after it's arrival telling me that nothing was wrong with the phone! It was a miracle! They kept it overnight to test it to make sure. They could have easily told me they fixed it and sent it back and taken the money, but they didn't! They gave me a total refund! Brought my phone in because my samsung s8 had a swollen battery. The tech was very fast and very knowledgeable. I called a few different places and they all want over 100. I brought it in spur of the moment and was under 60. I would highly recommend everyone to go there for phone repairs. Was also told about the year warranty. Bonus!

It might have been a little more expensive than some other places but I've only heard good things about gophermods. 10/10 would recommend! I chose gophermods because they gave me the best estimate (both price wise and detail wise). I asked for estimates from several companies and while some included the price, others gave me numbers to call or no details about the actual repair. Gophermods gave me a price estimate, locations and hours, time frames and also a warning that it might cost more if my lcd was broken. I went in the next day and the service was so friendly. Kai explained everything perfectly, checked me out and gave me a receipt and time estimate. I was quoted up to 3 days which was in my opinion a really great turnover time especially given the price. I was very pleasantly surprised when I got a call later that afternoon that it was ready! When I came to get my device they did a full inspection of the device with me to show functionality. Even on parts they didn’t fix. As a clutz I’ve repaired plenty of screens before, this was by far the superior experience of them all! I highly recommend gophermods!

Gopher mods is incredible. My phone got dunked in a pool and they were able to check it out with a turnaround of a day (I dropped it off at the office). My phone was beyond repair and even though they probably spent a couple hours disassembling it, checking it out and testing, they didn't charge me a cent. Dropped a phone and the LCD cracked and was bleeding blue all over the screen. Stopped into GopherMods in St. Anthony and was greeted by someone who recognized my problem and helped me right away. I have one of those old iPhone SE's that suddenly started losing battery power the second I unplugged it from charging. I didn't even know you could get that battery replaced, but when I learned it was possible, I took it to Gophermods. The staff was professional, affable, and straightforward regarding the repair. I brought in a Pixel 3 XL with a cracked screen and they repaired as good as new. The back glass got cracked during the screen replacement but I want to point out they handled it perfectly. Things happen and all too often consumers feel the need to lash out over minor things. I want to praise them for resolving it the way they did. I came in to get the screen of my iPhone 5s repaired (after dropping and shattering it - whoops) and was assisted promptly. The technician I met with was great - he let me know they'd be happy to check the phone in but that my particular model had some peculiarities which would make the repair quite expensive. He recommended a relatively inexpensive solution even though it meant the company would lose the repair job. When I got up this morning my cell phone appeared to be dead. I have driven by gophermods phone repair numerous times. I received friendly excellent service. Cameron reset my software and all was well. No charge. I will be telling my friends what a wonder service this is. The area where I live (1/2 mile away from store) is basically for seniors. We all know seniors need a lot of help with their phones.

I usually prefer apple for all of my devices, however when I cracked my iphone xs max I wanted a cheaper and more convenient way to fix my phone . I broke the LCD screen on my Samsum Galaxy SII and thought I'd get it professionally repaired rather than do it myself. Gophermods made the entire process remarkably simple, affordable and very quick. The website was very easy to use, place the order, and complete the checkout. I took my Samsung Galaxy S4 in to the shop to get a new screen protector because my old one (from Verizon Wireless) was peeling and had a few bubbles. The service was great because I was helped right away and was on way out in no time. They didn't make me buy a 3-pack of screen protectors like Verizon. My Galaxy S4 was seemingly irreparable when it would not boot properly. Anyone who thinks quality and personal service are vestiges of the past needs to visit Gophermods. I had an issue with my phone that the manufacturer said could not be fixed and, more importantly, was not covered under warranty. Their (the manufacturer's) suggestion was to purchase a new phone at an "amazingly discounted" price. I stopped off at Gophermods the following day and within 10 minutes they had the phone back up and running. The cost? Let's just say I saved myself $329. I urge anyone who has an issue with their smart phone, iPad, etc., to give these guys a call before assuming yours is a lost cause. I'm definitely a Gmod believer.

I found Gopher Mods online the day after my PS3 developed the YLOD. Their prices were comparative to all the other companies I found online and they included the shipping back. I also like they offered a shipping label for me to ship the unit to them. Their Website was informative and I was impressed with their services and level of detail explaining what’s wrong. I also called their facility for ease of mind and to verify they were who they said they were. The service rep was very informative and helpful with all the questions I asked. I shipped the unit on Tuesday and had it back the following Tuesday and most of the time was taken up just getting the unit there and back (I live in Ohio). I also liked that they sent me an email letting me know when they received it and when they shipped it. They also gave me a FedEx tracking # so I knew when it would be at my door. My son jumped in the pool with his new LG Nexus 4 phone in his pocket - Oh no! He jumped back out, but the phone had been submerged. Tried drying it out in rice. When he tried to turn the phone on, the flashing red light seemed like an OK sign. We thought there was an internal short and did not want to risk opening the phone ourselves (this phone has a non replaceable battery) so we sent it to Gophermods, whose site explicitly promised to fix water damage to this model phone. After waiting for more than a week I sent them an email - they replied that "Looks like we gave you a call last week and notified you that we were unable to restore your phone. It was significantly water damaged and damaged beyond repair. We cleaned the entire phone, installed a new screen and battery but it still didn't fix the phone." I requested they return the phone. The screws are now stripped and the sim card slot is cracked - I would still like to try to fix the phone but they have damaged it physically. I definitely do not recommend them. I would post a picture of the damage they caused if I could. Had I read a review like this I could have saved time and money and possibly my son's phone. Update: I added a star, since it isn't their fault the phone could not be fixed. It is their fault, however, that they promise to fix all water damage. Gophermods sent me a picture of the inside of the phone after I posted this review - it seems chlorinated pool water can cause a lot of damage. Perhaps they might want to put a caution on their site so we have more realistic expectations.

I wen to the St. Anthony store. It seems most go there for phones and tablets. I went to have diagnostic on my computer. They did a fantastic job. They told me that the problem was with the slow hard drive which can not be fixed without replacing the hard drive. They also fixed two annoying but livable problems -- Google issue and a game not working.

We brought it in under their warranty and got it replaced again no charge. After another week the problem came back. We took it in a second time and the technician kindly refunded all our money. I thought maybe if they replaced the glass, I could make do with a damaged display for another year. They were able to replace the glass and display in an hour and make my phone like new. When my PS3 "fatty" 80gb bit the dust last month with a blu-ray laser malfunction which was the second time it has happened since owning this system from the beginning. I knew I didn't want to send it back to Sony for repair, so my search led me to Gophermods. I brought my very badly damaged iPhone5 in on Saturday to see if it was even repairable. (dropped twice off a car in a few days and was run over - long story). Anyway I left for a few hours and when I came back they explained they had issues with the displays working properly and then showed me exactly what wasn't right. I appreciated the honesty and willingness to point out it wasn't perfect (a few discolored lines in display) as well as underststanding not wanting to pay for a replacement display that wasn't perfect. He then offered to put on a screen from someone elses broken phone temporarily to compare and offered to do so for no charge since it was damaged. The damaged screen had 1 crack with a few offshoots at the end but it didn't have the bar issue and the phone worked now! It will hold me over until I can get back when they get some more displays in stock and hoping one of those will work better. I was very happy with the honesty, same day service, and ability to come up with a work around that could get the phone working after being so badly damaged.

I can't say enough about GopherMods. Last year after my original 60GB PS3 initially failed, I contacted Sony support to see what my options were. Basically, since the backwards compatible PS3s are in such high demand, to repair or have a refurbished one sent to me would cost about $150 and take 6-8 weeks once they received it. I searched online and found GopherMods and they were able to repair my PS3 for $70 and some reasonable shipping charges and better yet, I had it back within a week. The repair lasted just over a year, and now that its failed again, they'll take it back and repair it labor free! These guys are AWESOME and I can't say enough about their timely customer service and quality of work. Once you've overheated your game console, its never the same, but these guys will be the only ones I trust with my future repairs. Keep it up, GopherMods!

Fast, friendly service. I dropped my iPad on the tile floor shattering the glass screen. Strangely enough it had survived a couple of previous drops on the hardwood floors. Anyway, the glass looked like a spiderweb. Thankfully the only thing wrong with the iPad was the glass as I needed google maps to find the store, lol. I dropped the iPad off late on a Thursday afternoon, the clerk examined it, did a couple of tests and told me it would be ready in 24 to 48 hours after checking to see if they had the glass in stock. In less than 24 hours I received a call that it was ready. He walked me through a few test operations to show that nothing else was wrong. It's been a couple of weeks and still working fine. Knock on wood that i never need their services again but if I do, I'll return.

Our PS3 Slim started intermittantly being unable to read blu-ray movies or games. Call them up, and described the issue, and they knew exactly what was going on. They advised me, if I was okay with it, to hold off a few weeks, due to some quality issues they were having with replacement parts. After a couple weeks, I checked back, and the said they were set. Dropped it off at the office, less than 24 hours later, I had it back, working like new. Spot on customer service, friendly staff, and honest people.

Bottom line: They didn't fix my Wii. They didn't meet their advertised 24-48 hour turn around from console receipt to return shipping. They didn't communicate what was going on and forced me to call several times to work out the situation. Pros: They were respectful of my input and quickly refunded my money (except for shipping, $9.99) when I said I didn't want to mess with the warranty process. After opening my Wii to inspect their work, I noticed the replacement laser module had damage to the flat wire harness. This damage was not present on the original removed part sent back with the Wii. Perhaps this damage happened at their facility or in shipping, regardless I still can't read any discs.

I had an i pad2 with a destroyed screen and multiple dents and bends in the casing and these guys were able to replace the screen and fix some of the casing defects with no problem and it was ready in 2 days for a reasonable fee He also took a look at my iphone 4s with a greyed out/broken wifi slider. Guys at the Apple store told me there was nothing i could do and i just had to buy a new phone. Gopher Mod guys told me the truth about how IOs 8 messed up 4s phones ( which the Apple store guys failed to mention) and tried swapping out antennas to try to get it functioning. I ordered a replacement Retina LCD screen online...The DIY replacement went great, until an hour afterwards and the screen was back in the same state it was in, and I was out $60 for the screen, not wanting to risk another shoddy LCD, I brought it to Gophermods, with their Summer discount I had a new screen for only $130, so even with my previous $60 screen from online, I was still $100 cheaper than if I'd brought it to an Apple Store...Great work guys!

Fantastic experience. I went in expecting to have to spend 70+ dollars to fix my charging port on my old but beloved iPhone SE, gave it to Tony, he said that there was a bit of a broken charger stuck in the port. He takes it to the back, comes back two minutes later and it's totally fixed. Fantastic, as I expected to spend a while there waiting for the repair.
