absolutely amazing! fast, same day fix for shattered screen. broke it 8 am, brought it in at 11am picked it up at 2 30pm. great guys back there, very honest too. one time a cable just disconnected when I thought it was the whole screen system broke. charged me like 20-30 bucks for it? I've been there multiple times and couldn't say enough good things about them.

I actually started at a ubreakIfix in Gurnee, IL while on vacation with my grandkids. They were fantastic there but I couldn't leave my phone for more than 1 to 2 days and wouldn't be there for the parts to arrive so they could transfer my information to the new phone. My phone was so damaged I actually had to purchase another phone When I got home I went to my phone provider who who told me to go told me to go to ubreakifix! I was so excited and happy to see that there was one in my own town. They were wonderful. I've only ever had one other issue with a phone and took it to another provider. They were not nearly as helpful as friendly and as knowledgeable as the guys here! I just love them. Thank you for all your help!!!! I will recommend them to anyone else looking for a great place to get a phone repaired.

I had an issue with finding the right replacement charger for my laptop that ended up being something bigger. The clerk at Best Buy recommended Ubreak Ifix. Antonio was awesome! He was kind and patient and gave me excellent recommendations. But I'm not very tech savvy and came back the same day to ask him to help me further. He welcomed me back and was once again very thorough in his explanations and patient with my questions. He explained exactly what was going on with my laptop, went online, and found extra things that could help. He even went over and above by helping me transfer files from my laptop so that I didn't lose anything just in case. I couldn't have asked for better service! Excellent customer interaction and service; pricing for repairs is very reasonable and they have generous policies for repeat repairs. I've taken in my laptop to them whenever I've had issues, and they have commendable speed when it comes to diagnosing the issue and courteously explain what's up in layman's terms or give you a clear status report and somewhat reliable time estimate (depending on the repair) if you just call and ask. Each employee I've dealt with is kind, patient and respectful, and the managerial staff and ownership I've met do an excellent job repping their brand and running a tight ship. It's a small branch, so you may have to wait in line for a minute when you come in, but it's rarely an exceptionally long wait and always worth it. All in all, I would recommend their services to anyone.

I have the Galaxy Fold 3. I had it for 2 weeks and after closing the screen heard a crunch. Opened the phone to see that the screen was cracked right down the middle. Samsung sent me to this location to have the device looked at. These guys pulled some strings for me and got it covered under the warranty. Now this is not the most common phone on the market due to price but somehow they managed to have the parts in stock and I had the phone back 4 hours later with no cost to me. These guys were quick, efficient and professional. I would trust them to fix anything.

We dropped an iPad off on Saturday to get a new screen, which we were told May take several weeks to fix. They texted on Wednesday and said it was done (4 days). Yay! I picked it up and noticed there was a gold colored ribbon cable pinched between the outer screen glass and inner screen. They promptly took it to the back and fixed it! Yay! As I went home happy to get my Sons tablet back, I picked up a new Zagg Invisible Shield screen protector for it at Best Buy. I peeled the protector film off the new screen and immediately noticed 2 fingerprints on the inside of the screen glass between the display and outer glass just replaced…. Not 100% happy about the job done for $180, but it works….

Amazing customer service from both the owner and the staff. They even gave me a loaner phone to use while my phone was being repaired, since it was going to take a few days to fix. Prices are very reasonable as well. They use genuine OEM parts, not some third-party knock off. Highly recommended.

Honestly? Great. Kermit is one of the coolest guys I’ve ever met, and he was vibin with us in the store to some 80s music. Only took about an hour and we were outta there lickity shplit. Would deffo come again, and certainly will if I break anything AGAIN. These guys make the experience a fun time, and even though I was just chillin there, it wasn’t a problem at all.

Had a screen break on my Note 10+. AT&T sent us here for the warranty fix. Unfortunately, it was all of an hour drive for us from our home and this was the closest option. We were quite concerned that there was no appointment required and we'd end up stuck having to leave it and pick it up a different day or leave without getting the work done bc they were out of screens for my phone. Fortunately, we had none of those issues! Quick stop in. Efficient, friendly staff to check us in, was done within the two hours we were quoted. Phone looks and works great. It was during the covid-19 restricted time that I took my computer in to have it fixed had to wait outside because only one person at a time could enter the store. But the phone service that I got prior to that and after I left my computer there, I was called very quickly after I got home and given an estimate after they had a chance to find out what parts I needed and it was even less than I had anticipated. Within a week I had my computer back and so far it seems to be doing well. I haven't put it through very many tests at all yet but I'm very pleased so far and they've given me a good trial period to bring it back if I have any problems with it so I think that the company does a good business and treats their customers very well and if I have problems I'll be happy to take it back to them. I am grateful to them for replacing my battery and screen on my surface 4 Pro and saving me from having to buy a new computer.

Although it took about 2 months to get my son's laptop back because of the repairs done to it, this place was great to work with. The laptop had a cracked screen and it is a touch screen so parts weren't on hand. Then that was related and it had another issue with it and they called me to discuss how to proceed. They communicated well with me on the updates to how the repairs were going. They didn't charge me for one solution they thought was going to work but that solution wasn't the problem so they didn't charge for the part. Great friendly service. I will use again if ever there is a need again

Class act all around. Set up an appointment, was given a confirmation call the same day. Went in to fix the charging port on my Pixel 2XL. The very professional service tech took it in the back for maybe 5 minutes, told me my port was just dirty and didn't need a replacement. Cleaned it for no charge, and I was out the door in less than 10 minutes. Use these guys for all electronic repair.

I've been having charging problems on my pixel 2 for the past year or so, have to prop it up just right to charge. I finally had enough of it and called "uBreakiFix" to see what it would cost to replace the port and if they had any in stock. I went in and saw Patrick who discovered I didn't need a new port after all- that it was just built up with debris. He was not surprised since I work in a warehouse. I asked what I owe him and he said nothing, I was shocked and very pleased. He cleaned it for me in less than five minutes. He could have easily said it needed a new port or just cleaned it and charged the port cost- I'm glad there are professional people still around. I applaud his integrity!

These guys were great. My wife recently upgraded her IPhone 5 to a 7 and with in a month dropped it n broke the screen. She went to another company and had it replaced for $150 with no guarantees or warranty. Two months later, wife’s phone was dropped again and no longer worked. These guys fixed it for a lot less and then sold us a different screen protector with a warranty. I thought my wife had insurance on the phone but for some reason she didn’t. I will definitely tell others about this place. Oh and I brought my phone in an hr before closing and they had it fixed in 45 minutes. These guys rock. My wife stated she had to pay extra to have the phone repaired in an hr....... thank you guys so much!!!!!!

They are very honest. I took my son’s Nintendo switch to get the screen replaced and the charging port reinstalled. They were honest and called me up to say the screen was not broken, it was the screen protector. I thought that was pretty nice because that cost $100.00.

I am a truck driver and my phone screened just died..blanked out but phone still worked. I called these guys because they are well priced because they are a Samsung dealer and they have been good to me in the past. They literally squeezed me in and got it done just before they closed. (I originally posed this on Facebook, but wanted to make sure it was on google too!) Thank you so much for replacing the screen on my iPhone 7 Plus today! I have never had issues with my screen in the almost 4 years that I’ve had it until last night when I grabbed my phone out of my purse the screen was black with bars through it. I went to my local Verizon store first and all they wanted to tell me was that my phone is obsolete anyway and I should just upgrade. (I like my phone, and don’t want to. Lol) When I walked in the ubreakifix store today the associates were very polite and personable, they quickly assessed what they needed to do and got me a quote. While assuring me that it was a simple fix and well worth doing, because besides fact that the screen went out, it’s still a perfect phone. I also mentioned that I have always had an issue with the ear speaker since I got the phone and they ended up fixing that for me too and at 50% off! I am SO THANKFUL for their expertise, fair prices, and friendliness! I highly recommend their store for any issues you may have with your devices! 👍🏻

Contacted a different cell phone repair company and they blew me off. UBreakIFix was the only company willing to work on my phone. Their customer service was out of this world. The owner is very down to Earth and customer-focused. They communicated well throughout the repair and took better care of my phone than I do on a typical day. Will be using them again even though we have to travel through a few cities to get there. Good people, good service and good results. Without them, I'd be in the process of replacing my $400+ phone right now.

They are Google certified and Samsung certified for repairs, they helped me to Home Reset my Samsung phone for free because it was not performing updates anymore. I was very impressed with the service I received from this company. The screen of my iPhone 8 Plus had been badly cracked, and I figured I’d have to wait to get it fixed- given the current Covid19 restrictions on house calls. So I was happy to find out otherwise, and very pleased when Austin- a polite, friendly, and professional technician- showed up at my door in a mask and gloves. He took my phone and quickly fixed the screen in his mobile unit while I waited in my home. The results were absolutely perfect, like having a new phone again! Changing my tune here. This store was fantastic. The people working were very helpful even though I kept having an issue with my PS4, they helped me through it. The only bad thing I can say, which isn't even their fault, is the corporate office needs to update their website about what is actually possible to do. Other than that, would highly recommend this place to anyone with technological issues.

The light sensor went out in my samsung galaxy s8 and sprint would take 5 to 10 days to fix it, but these guys fixed it in 2 hours for the same price, gave me a new battery and gave a new screen (mine had a crack). They said it was so expensive because my camera was cracked & my pixels were not fully functioning and I couldn’t even unlock my phone or load everything onto a computer first. & they each said to get the cracked camera fixed it would take a while because it was a send out part. Needless to say, I thought I was going to have to replace my phone and lose all of my photos and data. I scheduled an appointment online to replace my pixel 5a phone screen. I was told that the repair was estimated at $137.79 and I could get $10 off with an in-store offer code. The store called me to say that the repair would take 2 hours and I could drop it off before my appointment if desired. I dropped the phone off a half hour before my appointment. They said the actual estimated cost was $160, and it would not be ready until the next day. After 24 hours, I called in to check the status, they said the phone had been done, but they didn't have my passcode. They did not call or email me prior to this. When I picked it up, it was $159.99 for the repair (as expected) but they had no idea about the $10 off code and would not redeem it. Repair seems ok so far, but there is a lot of glue around the edges of the phone. This is weird because the pixel 5a screen comes with adhesive pre-applied. They should not have had to use extra glue. UPDATE: I called customer service and they are wiling to give me back the difference in cost as well as a free screen protector. Upped the rating from 2 to 4.

Everyone here was very friendly and courteous. I was super nervous getting my I phone 8 plus fixed by someone other than the Apple store but the price was right at ubreakifix. They were able to help me as a “walk in” and gave me an hour and a half wait time. The phone was ready when I got back to pick it up. I took it home and went about my day. Then I did a “selfie video” on an app I was using and my picture looked like I was in a foggy room. I was super nervous that I got scammed. I also noticed that my screen was darker and I needed to turn my background light up in order to see my phone. Therefore, my battery was dying faster. I waited a day and figured it was my own fault for going to a store other than Apple. I decided to give them a call and asked if I could bring it in for ubreakifix to look it over. They were so nice, courteous, and happy to help. He said he would look at it and see if a part was missing. It took only a minute and he was back. He said he would fix it and to come back in and hour. I waited in my car and he even came out to get me. Everything looks great! I’m not sure what he had to do, but I heard them talk about putting an additional part on free of charge. I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 because I had to go twice. Otherwise, great service!

Ive never written a review, but after my experience here I feel compelled to leave a negative review. I dropped a laptop off about a week and a half ago. They called me last week and gave me the repair cost and tell me its going to take a week to order parts, I accepted. I emailed them a little while after that, to which I never got a reply. Eight days later with no word I call them to see how the repair is going and they say they have been waiting to hear from me, so they never started the repair process. Now I have to wait all over again. The miscommunication upsets me, and it seems like you would reach out to a customer that you thought you hadnt heard from. Only place to get OEM parts and repairs for Samsung and Google phones. They will keep the water/dust resistance for your device. Other places don’t do that and one splash could mean a damaged phone. Repair was quick and easy. Would definitely go there again.

My iPhone 6 has been resurrected for a 2nd time thanks to uBreakiFix. -water damage 2 years ago -2 days in rice revived it -used flawlessly for 2 years -screen died last week -Genius Repair quoted $85 for a screen, then said they couldn't even get it to turn on "because of the [water] corrosion"; recommended a $100 water-damage-repair ($50 if it doesn't work, $100 if it does) -uBreakiFix (Centerpointe) said they'd try to power it up and back up my data; $30 (labor) if it works, $0 if not -uBreakiFix powered it up, cleaned the corrosion, gave me the option to back up my data in store without new parts or replace the screen for $65 because "all it needs is a new screen" -lesson #1: always use your waterproof bag near water; don't think that "it'll be fine" because you never know what can happen -lesson #2: don't trust apps to automatically back up your data; Google Photos didn't back up any photos for 3 months -lesson #3: get a 2nd opinion because that's cheaper than +$500 for a new phone THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!
