I went into this store for the first time to pick up an electronic device for someone. I'm not a talkative type, but one of the staff, Thomas, was so communicative and receptive. On that first visit, he was able to discern that my phone batteries were swollen and had to be replaced ASAP. I was in a haste but the genuine concern about my ticking time bomb of a phone made me realize that he did not just want to get another customer. He understood the urgent need to replace my batteries. Not to mention, I received the best discount ever in my life. Literally!!! That act of kindness made my entire day. This is one of the most competent electronic repair shops in Fargo with genuine skillful workers. And you don't get to meet "genuine" everyday trust me.

I-Care Repair is now my First Choice! My one August Saturday afternoon chore was to get advice to replace my hand-me-down phone chargers and stockpile cords. I had driven to Best Buy but didn’t want to deal with the parking, walking, and long lines. At I-Care Repair, I trust their product choices, got a parking spot across from the store and Thomas helped me right away. While figuring out the model of my I-phone, I showed him an annoying pop-up. Joking, I hired him to fix it. Well, Thomas successfully located the source and eliminated the malware I’d accidentally downloaded when I opened a Facebook link—all while happily helping a steady stream of walk-in customers. And he explained everything in words I understood. I bought two bricks and two cables. Two months later and I haven’t seen that pop-up. I give iCare Repair five stars.

These people are a tremendous FM resource which I have used a number of times in the past few years. In particular Mark who rebuilt an aging high end PC - breathing in new life and extending it's useful service period by years. When my MacBook suddenly stopped working, I quickly Googled “MacBook repair near me” and icare popped up as the top option. After reading the reviews I decided to make my way to the store. It was a Monday at 6:30 pm. I was greeted by a super friendly gentleman who very helpful, informative, and walked me through my options for repair. I left my computer there at 6:45 pm on Monday evening. At around noon the next day I got a call informing me that they had discovered the problem with my computer (bad battery), had the part on hand, and informing me of the cost and asking if I would like to proceed. An hour later I had a perfectly working computer with clear instructions on how to charge and calibrate the battery to ensure I got the best life out of it moving forward. I am so glad I found this place, they were a lifesaver and so kind during the process.

Story time: I had one of the hinges on my fairly expensive laptop give out only a year or so after purchase. I went to Best Buy where I had bought it and they said it would be rouhgly $700 repair with a 2-4 week repair time. I looked around some more and found ICare. Only a weekend and a $50 labor fee later my laptop was back with a functional hinge. I has been a well over a month now, and the repaired (not replaced) hinge shows no signs of damage. These guys truly want the best for you and your device and they provide quick service compared to larger companies like Best Buy. 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

The team at iCare Electronic Repair are professional, prompt, and honest. I brought in a waterlogged iPhone, and they laid out exactly what was wrong, what they needed to do to fix it, and the cost. The process was entirely transparent. In the end we decided to replace the phone instead of fixing it. I hope that I do not need to do any repair on my devices anytime soon, but if I do, I know where to go. Cannot recommend this place enough. The staff were informative and communicative. I got a Pixel 6 screen replaced there, and read that many people reported that after having their screen replaced their fingerprint scanner would no longer work. iCare was able to replace my screen and the fingerprint scanner still works perfectly! And they were the cheapest price in town. This is the only place I'll go to get my phone repaired.

Really great customer service. I worked with Mark and he was exceptional. He fixed my iPhone X camera and even let me know about other issues that I might have in my phone. I went in for a $125 camera fix, but it turned out to be a $25 fix, and Mark made me aware of that. Loved the honesty because anyone could’ve fixed the phone and not let me know that I owed way less money than I was expecting. Second Review: Fast forward a few years from my original review, and I find my next iPhone needing a new battery like my old one did. I didn't hesitate to call Matt and his team at iCare Repair in Fargo to get it fixed! I dropped it off in the morning with a 2-hour quote on time needed to replace the battery and was able to pick up my phone all good as new by noon! Highly recommend iCare Electronic Repair for your technology repair needs! I had my iPhone battery and Mac Book Pro battery both replaced by iCare Electronic Repair in the last month. I just happened to be near their store and my phone battery had been terrible lately, so I popped in to see if they had any thoughts on replacing the battery vs. a new phone. They were able to swap out my battery and in under 2 hours I was back picking up my device! The battery now lasts well over a day like it did when it was a new phone. The Mac Book Pro battery had to be ordered in and took about a week to receive, at which time we were having storm upon storm and other poor weather and road conditions, and I couldn't get there quickly to have them change it out. They were patient in my scheduling conflicts and worked with me to get my machine fixed up in short order when I did finally get there. Both devices were cleaned well and checkout was a breeze! I also received a diagnostics report on both devices showing everything was working- a nice side bonus that I didn't ask for but good peace of mind that my older equipment is functioning well! ICare Repair was recommended to me by a few trustworthy friends, and I highly recommend them for all of your electronic product needs!

Update: I dumped coffee on my laptop and the shop got it working beautifully in a few days. They are the best. I went in on a Saturday morning to have my cracked 5s screen replaced, and I was incredibly impressed with the service I received. Upon seeing the phone, the man helping me diagnosed another issue that I had been having with a sensor and offered to repair it for a discounted rate when he worked on the screen. They were clear about the time frame for looking at the machine, called to explain the problem, which they had already fixed and charged me only $50.00. I love these guys. Can't say enough about how pleased my wife and I have been with their service and honesty. My wife brought in an iPhone that was no longer functioning right. Sprint store told us we needed a new phone. iCare took a quick look at it and noticed the case was not seated properly. Popped it back into place and everything worked fine. No charge. Then I brought in my phone as it was having a lot of trouble recharging. Thought I needed a new charging hub and battery. They took a quick look and pulled out a piece of fuzz deep in the charging hub, which totally fixed the problem. Told me no charge. That integrity bought our loyalty wholesale. So we have been happy to bring them our cracked screens and a handful of other iPhone and iPad repairs, all with great results and reasonable price. Am considering bringing in a couple of old malfunctioning laptops, and know I'll get a straight answer. Highly recommend them.

We had a Note 20 Ultra brand new have it's screen damaged, I called around town, and what I was looking for when calling around was not so much the lowest price, more so a business that was knowledgeable and could get the repair done perfectly. Well, iCare repair not only has an amazing knowledgable staff but they also clearly have a passion for technology! Couldn't recommend this business enough. I discovered iCare online. I read their reviews and knew right away that they were the kind of people I wanted to do business with. I was having problems updating my Phantom 4pro drone. Believe me when I tell you that I tried everything, and then some. Well, the good people over at iCare tried everything, and then some, and then some, and then some some more, and got my bird updated. I was asked to fly my drone as soon as possible and if I have any problems whatsoever, to bring it back right away. I dropped it off the next day and it was ready in about an hour. For around $80, I got peace of mind and the best part is I didn't have to set foot in the dreaded Verizon store!

Also, I had been having battery troubles along with the shattered screen (unrelated), and they just charged me for the cost of the part, since they were already going in to fix the screen. Took my phone in for the $29 battery replacement. The store was clean and well staffed. The staff (Rebecca especially) was all very nice, welcoming and helpful. They gave an approximate turn around of 3 hours (higher than normal due to being busy with replacement batteries) and I got a call just a little over 2 hours that it was done. I picked it up with no problems and again the staff was extremely nice and easy to work with. I'll definitely use them for any future phone needs!

It was less expensive than using Apple service and even less than paying for applecare plus service for it. I had a fresh brand new spotless screen installed in under 2 hours. The called me the day the price dropped for the iPhone 7 screens. They fixed the screen in just a few hours. They did a great job the edges were flush just like out the box, we bought a case and they threw in a free glass screen protector, and installed it. A few days later the screen started acting funny. Phone screen cracked and I didn't have all my info uploaded to a cloud or on my SD card. I went in and they were able to get all my data off the phone after they had to put a replacement screen on first to get into the phone. The way the phone was disassembled and reassembled it looked like it just came out of the box. Not like replacement phones I've gotten in the past that have had the back plates a little crooked and didn't work quite right. I'm very happy with the service they provide and would recommend going here instead of waisting money on phone insurance through your carrier.

I went to Icare a few weeks ago and received fantastic service. I had dropped my mac air had caused a loose connection with the hardware that I personally couldn't fix so I brought it in. They were very friendly and funny and it made my experience that much better. Not only did they fix the loose connection as soon as they could, but they cleaned up a large amount of liquid damage for me that was done years ago and I had thought had been taken care of. Then, as I took it home I had some network issues and they were very patient with me as we tried to figure out the problem over the phone. If I ever have any more issues I will definitely be going back.

I had gotten my battery and charging port on my iPhone 6 replaced by them. When my charging port stopped working I went to them and got my charging port and old battery replaced. It was done within a day. Everything was great at first. But then after about 3 months I started to notice some bright spots on my screen. I later learned that these were caused by a bad replacement battery that was blemishing and applying pressure to my screen. After 4 months, the new charging port started to fail and at 5 months it didn’t work at all. Cleaning it didn’t help. My problems weren’t under their short warranty period, so I was out of luck. Maybe I just had really bad luck, that’s why I put 3 stars.

I took my iPad to iCare to get the screen and battery replaced. Once I got my iPad back, I realized I was having some minor issues with the touch response of the display but decided to let it go until the problems eventually started getting worse. I called iCare and was told to bring it back in and they would take a look at it. Before I could get it back to iCare, the new battery went bad and swelled up to twice its original size, which also pushed the screen partially out of the iPad...turned out my display issues were really a symptom of a bad going battery. I took it back in and was told they would take care of it. When I went back later that day they had replaced the battery under warranty, but I found that the LCD had a hairline fracture that ran diagonally across the screen. I asked why the screen hadn't also been replaced and was told that they would only cover the battery and that I would have to talk to the manager, Matt, about the screen. I wasn't happy with this resolution, so left the iPad with them and called and spoke with Matt the next morning and he said that they would take care of the screen. When I picked up the iPad later that day, everything was properly repaired. I'm giving a 4-star review instead of a 5-star review due to the multiple visits and follow up with management that was required to get my iPad repaired to my satisfaction, but ultimately the repair was done correctly and my iPad is like new again.

I have had iCare Wireless Repair replace shattered screens on 2 iPhone 5c's. One was in July 2015 and November 2015. Both times I called ahead to check their prices and if they would be able to do same day repair. Each time they had the screen in stock and were able to repair the screens within 2 hours. The technician explained the time frame due to how many techs were available and how many phones were waiting ahead of mine. Very practical. The phones still work great and the price was the best in town. Technicians were helpful and knowledgeable. Only complaint would be this: when I had the phone screen fixed in July, they talked me into adding a screen protector, one that they would install. It was not worth the money at all. (I can compare this service "apples to apples" with the Wireless Cart at West Acres Mall where I also had an iPhone 5c screen replaced also. Still trying to get them to get it right. I wish I would have taken this phone to iCare Wireless repair). December update: I took another iPhone 5c to be repaired at iCare. The one that another place refused to fix correctly, but at least gave me a refund after several phone calls...see above review. Anyway, thanks to iCare, that phone is working perfectly. iCare fixed the screen and also the headphone jack. Regarding the headphone jacke: The tech called me and stated that the headphone jack was bad and wanted to know if I would like that repaired also. I wondered if he was just trying to get me to get something "extra" done, but he wasn't kidding. My daughter confirmed that it was bad. Thanks guys for checking out the phone for other issues and not ripping me off. SO MUCH APPRECIATED.

Honestly, this place did do an inspection on my device. Granted I expected to need to pay a $25 inspection fee. They recognised that my device was still under warranty, and offered to waive the fee so I could send my device to apple. This is my second time going, previous was for iPad screen repair, as the screen was non functioning, internal connection was loose. reasonable pricing, was fixed in 4 hours on that time. Will be my first choice for repairs when I have issues on Apple devices beyond warranty. Extremely knowledgeable staff, and willing to work with you.

I learned from the staff that my battery had expanded, thus popping the entire front off the main body of the phone. $35.00 and two hours later my device was repaired. And, I learned how over charging the battery can cause such things to happen. The team educated me of proper use and repaired my phone. The office was calm and it was easy to talk to a staff member. AAA+++ service - my son dropped his iPad and the screen cracked right from the top to the bottom - I called Best Buy to find out if they repair iPads with their Geek Squad and they said no but referred me to iCare for the repair. I called in, they told me the ours, basic cost estimate for a new screen and I dropped the iPad off on a Friday morning around 11 am and before 4 pm the same day I received an email saying it was ready for pick-up! Brought my laptop in that just decided to turn off on me and wouldn't turn back on. Was quoted 5-7 days to fix but probably sooner. Due to several unforeseen circumstances it took 2.5 weeks to get it to turn back on while plugged in. Only now the battery doesnt work. Due to me needing to use the laptop many hours a day due to work, school and entertainment. I needed the computer back asap so I didnt have iCare replace the battery. So I took it as is. It works perfectly while plugged in and that's good enough. It took alot longer than what I originally hoped, and I was annoying them during that 2.5 weeks, calling every few days to check in on the progress. I am a truck driver by trade and need my phone multiple times daily to complete my job. In November 2013, I was working on my truck and my Samsung Galaxy III fell out of my hand onto the ground. My HP laptop would not "boot-up", so I took it to ICARE on 8th Street on Saturday. They told me it would probably be ready sometime on Tuesday. It was ready at approximately 3pm. I also took my Samsung Galaxy Edge 7 there on Tuesday morning and the salesperson told me they don't fix my that model as they couldn't get parts for it. Hmmmm. I did find a shop that was able to repair my cell phone and there was no mention that it was hard to get replacement parts, but that it would be expensive. I would have rated iCare higher, except for all the running around that I had to do to find a shop that could repair my cell phone. I would suggest calling before taking your tech gadgets in for service or repair.

I brought my wife's computer in for a clean-up and upgraded operating system. The first guy said the computer was pretty old (2008), but the computer guy said he thought he could upgrade it. We agreed on $100 + $50 for the upgrade. I was told to bring it back in on Monday, since it would not be worked on over the weekend. We needed the computer on Monday, so I brought it on Tuesday. Got it back late in the day on Thursday. By Friday we determined it was not working properly. I called and brought it in and decided to add additional RAM for $50. This, plus learning the new operating system seems to have worked. Bottom line, computer working, wife happy, I'm happy, a little frazzled, but satisfied.

I sent my lenovo Ideapad S400 for repair. However, in the repair process the technician accidentally broke my wiki cable & gave me the laptop with broken wifi. Fortunately, I took the laptop back and the technician ordered a replacement wifi part at no extra charge to me. These people are honest and fair. The only issue I have is with the first time they repaired it. Why didn't the technician figure out the wifi was broken after the first repair? This is my only problem. Otherwise I recommend these people wholeheartedly.

They're the only ones in town that were willing to tackle my HTC M7 bad charger connection -- since M7 is sealed shut & not meant to be opened. It took a few days for them to carefully open it and replace the defective part and cost a little more than initially quoted and power button is a little harder to press, but without being able to charge your cell phone What do you have besides a DEAD phone? Phone is still charging as expected and I can continue to use it for a little over $100 instead of having to pay over $400 for a new phone. Thanks guys for venturing into oft avoided territory.

Dog liked smart phone.... I didn't realize my phone slipped out of my pocket outside. When I tried calling it to locate it the dog tried to answer it! Thank goodness he wanted to keep my phone and took it to his kennel instead of burying it somewhere! With Grandkids from 18 on down I had precious pictures on my phone, not backed up and no SD card.
