I LOVE THIS SHOP, I went to Juvix recently for the first time for a computer issue and they had great communication, updated me, and were very professional yet also friendly. I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to talking to strangers but the vibe is very chill. They are worth the trip if you have an issue AND the best part, they aren't very expensive. I only had to pay 40 dollars for my computer issue, honestly recommend this place.

I brought my MacBook Air here after my cat spilled a cup of water on top of it, so it was badly water damaged. The people at Juvix fixed my laptop at a very reasonable cost and it only took about 2 weeks. The Genius Bar at the Apple Store didn't even have any appointments available when I needed to take my computer in -- I would have needed to wait almost a full week to even get an appointment there. I called Juvix, and they took my computer to look at it the same day. I would highly recommend this place for any tech issues or problems you have!

Turned out, my laptop issue was pretty simple and I was in and out of there in under 10 minutes. I was even impressed with the etiquette - when I came in, the worker at the front desk was on the phone, but still took a second to acknowledge my presence. But before he could deal with me, someone came from the back to help me and I was on my way. Overall, very helpful and friendly and will gladly trek out there for my computer needs.

The team at Juvix is simply awesome. They are personable, customer-focused, and extremely responsive. I brought my laptop to solve an issue that the top tech guru just matter-of-fact the entire problem. Usually techies tend to me feel ignorant or worse. This dude did not do that. He was professional, savvy, and real pleasant throughout. Within minutes, my laptop was back in full mode. He made sure to run a full test with me. All three individuals in the premise were simply examplary from their engaging conversation to the way they engaged all customers I will not reveal how little they charged me because no one will believe me. This is the very best all around experience that I have had with a business in the entire DC Baltimore Region over the past 10 years that I have here. Ive known Juvix for several years. We actually went to high school together & even from then he was THAT guy you knew would fix most of your computer issues. I recently dropped off my iphone 8 plus & my nieces nintendo switch. The iphone was a easy fix for them being as tho i had major damage to the back of the phone where its mostly glass damage. That was a quick fix once the part came in. Now for the nintendo switch lite console, my niece is 6 years old & she got that for Christmas ‘19. She played with it a few months. Dropped... threw.. you know what kids do. Until it didnt come on & tried to charge it no success. I was going to go through one of nintendos repair sites but after debating on when i would get the device back i was like if its going to take 6-8 weeks to get back like they said & here we are early November i might as well buy her a new one. After talking to Juvix he said to me he can more likely be able to fix it after diagnostics. He said give him 4-5 days & boom he hit me up with a text of a pic of the switch ON. So yes. Him & his team are the go to people & they will be upfront with you.

Really good experience at Juvix, they worked really late to the night to help me fix my computer because I was in a real rush! Everyone there were really friendly and helpful. And I can assure that Juvix is a great technic because my computer was quite rarely seen. Many thanks to everyone at the store especially to Juvix.

🏅🏅🏅🏅🏅The team at this tech spot has impressed me and my entire family. I first came by to fix my PS4. I swear I was lost without it until I called these guys and they told me resolving it would not be a challenge. They replaced the hard drive to my gaming console and the gameplay have been flawless every since. The turn around time was very fast so fast that I was able to get my wife phone fix the same day I picked the PS4 up. That’s a one stop shop for sure . They also fixed the charger port to one of my very old iPads. The location and store front for these guy are just as spectacular…I swear the service I received here was such a great tech experience in its self!

Dropped my phone and it was no longer working. Needed it fixed in a hurry and these guys delivered!!! Honestly blown away by how good this experience was. They were kind, good spirited, knowledgeable, AND SUPER FAST!—squeezing me in to get the repair done in under 20mins. (Faster than the lunch I ordered for takeout) Unreal. And the price was right! Way better then all the nonsense involved with taking it to Apple and waiting etc., etc.— or other repair guys who are often trying to rip you off and feel sleazy. 100% recommend. So glad I was referred to this place.

I got my laptop battery changed here after having had many troubles with it previously (bloating, because of which I’d changed it twice before, decreased battery life, failure to charge/display battery status and even power issues). At first I wasn’t sure I wanted to pay for someone else to do it as I’d had it changed by a friend for free before, but now, more than a year later, I’m very glad I used Juvix’s services. The staff ran diagnostics on my laptop, chose a battery from a reliable supplier and ensured my laptop was working well with the new battery before they returned it to me. I haven’t had any issues since and the new battery still lasts longer than the previous ones and hasn’t declined in performance. These guys know what they’re doing and will save you a lot of hassle and additional expenses down the road. They’ll provide a comprehensive service instead of just tinkering with your computer, so be prepared to leave it with them for a week or two, especially if you need parts changed or have a more serious issue.

Had a charge port repair on a dell inspiron 7306 where the port itself became detached and several of the contact traces came off of the motherboard. I was worried that the motherboard itself would need to be replaced, however Juvix was able to make the repair. The only reason why I deducted a star was because of the downtime during the process. It was around Christmas time so I knew the repair wasn't going to be next day, but after the part was delivered to the shop the repair still took more than two weeks to be completed, so the total time my laptop was in the shop was just over a month. Regardless, the customer service was great, the pricing was fair, and barring that the repair lasts I will bring any other electronics I need repaired to Juvix. I would definitely reccomend.

It was my first time contacting a computer repair place and he was great at letting me know costs, the process, and explaining things to me when I was very disorganized with my info. Easily the most user friendly experience I've had with this type of work. I went to get my headphones fixed. He is technically not advertised to do that type of repair but he still let me know he'd take a look at it. It was easy to find the location (GPS) and easy to contact him to schedule an appointment. Really friendly person that tells you everything you need to know about what he will do and what might or might not work. He gave me the options and I went with what we both thought was the best solution (we talked through all the options and costs). Really affordable and was something I'd rather pay someone that had the equipment to do a better job than what I would have done myself. 100% recommend him to anyone looking for repairs or help. Recently I had Windows 10 crash on my PC, and my cousins ps4 needed a new HDMI port as the original failed. I first spoke with Ariel, when I dropped off my devices, she was very pleasant and made the initial process smooth. After about a week I was informed the ps4 was completed, and a week after that the PC was repaired. I met Tony and Juvix upon pick up, and in total I had a great experience. Staff is very kind and knowledge. Pricing was affordable as well, I definitely recommend!

From start to finish I was extremely happy with my experience! I went in with a minor problem that Tony was able to resolve fairly quickly, but I had a underlying issue I hadn’t even thought about until going to pick up my computer. They were able to correctly diagnosis and resolve the issue which did take a couple extra days but without fail they waited until they had a remedy for the problem before contacting me with my options. My sons mangled the HDMI port on their Xbox One S, and fortunately I came across Juvix The Tech Guy while searching for repair shops. They gave me a quote over the phone and I dropped it off the next day. A few days later, I picked up the newly repaired Xbox and it has been working great ever since. Really impressed by the service I received from Juvix and his team! Just a few days into working from home due to COVID-19, my Macbook's battery decided to fail. For obvious reasons, this was terrible timing, compounded by the fact that Apple stores were closed. Fortunately, Juvix and his team saved me as they were still working and were able to replace my battery in just a few short days (installation was done same day that they received the necessary part)! If I could give 6 stars I would! Juvix and Tony fixed my completely dead laptop in under a day. They were courteous, friendly, and took the time to explain to me what was wrong all at a very fair price. My computer would not open so I could not enter my password. I went to Juvix The Tech Guy and this angel, Ariel welcomed me. I explained my problem and she said there could be 2 problems. She opened the computer and reset it along with removing and replacing the battery. My system started and I could enter my password. As I started to give Ariel my charge card she said no charge. WHAT! She said there was nothing wrong the computer just needed to be reset. Most places would have charged or said I would need to leave my computer. I will always go to Juvix The Tech Guy!

I realized my laptop possibly had a water damage and I searched google for a computer repair shop. I came upon Juvix repair shop and sent a message telling him I had possible water damage when I discovered my laptop wouldn’t come on one night. The next morning, I received an email back from Juvix saying to bring in my laptop immediately. I did and he was able to fix my laptop in a timely fashion. He told me what the issue was and how he was able to fix it. He was very knowledgeable. I highly recommend him for any electronic repairs you may have!

Very professional, and timely service. No problems after two months. I was was having a boot error that was locking me out of my PC. After playing with it for a day I called these guys and brought the Desktop to them. They saved my files, wiped my PC clean of Windows 7, and installed Windows 10 Pro, and uploaded all my files back to Windows 10. Cost was $120. Saved me the headache of trying to figure it out, and not having to buy a new machine since my old one is more than capable. 4 Day turn around, and this was just after Labor Day. This is after I'd called basically every other phone repair / tech place in Baltimore and they gave me complicated / random explanations for why it would be impossible. Had a very nice experience with these guys. I spilled hot tea on my laptop and took a minute too long to turn it off. Took it over the next morning. These guys patiently heard my concerns and gave me updates every time I wanted to know about the status. What I had thought of initially as being a hefty logic board replacement, turned out to be a thorough cleaning and replacement of some other parts. All my data and software is intact and the price seems to be reasonable. Would recommend these guys.

I wish I could give this dude ten stars because I cannot speak highly enough of Juvix the Tech Guy. The other businesses I called didn't really seem that interested in helping me or answering my questions. Juvix was the third result in my google search and from the moment I talked on the phone with him I knew he was going to be the guy. He was immediately kind, warm and friendly and helped me feel comfortable trusting him with my laptop. When we finally went to visit him we immediately struck a chord. I was super panicky because my computer is my career and this was the first time I have ever not had it with me. He even gave me an ice cold Arizona green tea and assured me it would be fine, even though I was sitting there crying and panicking like a baby! The prices were really fair and competitive, and he even gave me cheaper options if I was interested. He told me in simple, easy to relate to terms the diagnoses and his plan to repair them. As someone who is very interested in electronics repair both as a hobby and future career choice, it was really cool to see it all in action by a REAL professional who showed me the step by step. He even threw a reinstall of Win10 for free! My laptop was fixed and ready in three days, and he even delivered it to my house in the dead of night because I'm currently dealing with an injury. This guy rules. I guarantee you won't find a better deal or cooler dude in Baltimore City!

I didn’t win the Powerball last night, but I hit the jackpot this morning when I called Juvix. :) I can’t begin to express how grateful I am. My hard drive failed late last night and I called Juvix this morning in a bit of a panic. He calmly asked me questions and made time for me today. I am walking out a few hours later with my computer operating better than when I went in. Juvix took as much time as needed to make sure I was comfortable with what he was doing. And the price was definitely right. I can’t even describe what he provides as exceptional customer service. It is exceptional humanity. Juvix is a killer tech guy with a big heart. I am terrified of laptop repair shops - I don't really have any knowledge about laptops and I'm always worried that I'm going to drop this very expensive and important piece of tech off with someone that will be rude, overcharge me, or both. I never heard of this company before and thought I was going to a hole in a wall. BUT, not the case. They are located in a nice area near John Hopkins and the staff was professional on the phone and in person. I went to take my PS4 there, which needed a new hard drive and they were able to fix the problem the same day. They communicate via phone, emails and text messages. NOW this is how you run a business. Not to mention AFFORDABLE. I’m sending my son here to get my Samsung tablet fixed for Christmas. They got my business!

If there's just one thing to say about Juvix The Tech Guy is that Juvix and his computer tech staff are the MASTER BLASTERS of computer knowledge and repair. Not to mention their Customer Service was par excellence. All I needed was a battery replacement and Juvix fit me into his tight schedule and completed the replacement himself, in half an hour. Juvix is an honest and skilled dude that will do whatever it takes to fix your device. Just one step into his shop will convince you this guy knows his way around tech. There's devices everywhere from phones to laptops to cable modems. If it plugs into a wall, he can fix it. I wanted to get my HTC 10 battery replaced, and Juvix was the first out of 5 or 6 calls to repair shops that took the job. Apparently, this phone is challenge to get into. But Juvix was able to open it up, replace the battery! He worked in a timely manner, and now my phone doesn't die every 3 hours! It'll last me another couple years which is totally sweet! Great experience, great customer support! I purchased a Lenovo laptop (Juvi had the best price!) a couple days ago and had issues getting my dual monitors functional. For some crazy reason, I decided to call Geek Squad for help. That was a huge mistake. Geek Squad insisted that the laptop didn't support 2 monitors and that I could confirm with Lenovo. I had exact model Lenovo as a loaner and I knew dual monitors were standard. So I decided to give Juvi a call. This is now my computer guy. My computers hard drive was completely full. It didn’t make any sense. I took it to one place and he said I needed to get a an external hard drive, transfer stuff delete stuff and it should fix the problem. I didn’t think that was really it so I also called some more places. They talked about running diagnostics and all this other stuff. I ended up going to Juvix. Tony and Juvix are miracle workers. My old (2009) imac kept freezing, going white screen, restarting on its own, taking forever to boot (sometimes five minutes), and the like. I thought I'd fix it myself by, among other things, reinstalling OS X (mistake number one), but when the installation froze at the 24 minute mark I got caught in an endless reinstall loop I couldn't get out of. So I thought I try the installation from the original OS X disk (mistake number two), but it froze at the thirty minute mark and produced an endless restart loop I couldn't get out of. I also couldn't get the disk back since I couldn't get the machine to boot and thus couldn't eject the disk. At that point I was ready to give up but a neighbor told me about Juvix and I thought there was nothing to lose by trying one more time. Tony managed not only to end all of my endless loop problems, but he also eliminated the white screens, slow boots, spontaneous restarts, and the like. Now the machine runs like a new computer, even better than my work computer, and it's eleven years old. Tony's most impressive move was eliminating the excessive fan noise I started to get when running the machine at home but that didn't recur when running it in Juvix's shop. It made no sense that it would be quiet in one setting and noisy in another but it was, so I was back to my "time to give up" view. Tony could have given up at that point as well, the machine ran perfectly for him, but he didn't. I don't know how he did it, but he asked me to bring the machine back, and on the same day he solved the noise problem. Now the machine is quiet everywhere, and even quieter than when it was new. The best part is that Tony did all of this in a very short period of time: a couple of days to fix the original problems and less than a day to fix the noise problem. The price was exceptionally reasonable, maybe even a little less than could have been charged, and everything was done in as friendly and personable manner as you will find anywhere. This business is a first rate operation, combining high level technical skill with fast service, reasonable prices, and exceptionally nice customer service. We're lucky to have it in the neighborhood.

This was not just the best computer repair experience i've had, but one of the best customer service experiences i've had, period. I spilled beer on my macbook at 1030pm on a Sunday night and was freaking out till a google search found this place. The place is open 24 hours for real - I brought my laptop in at 11 and Juvix immediately set to work on it. Luckily the damage was minimal and he had it fixed up for me within 2 hours at a reasonable price. Juvix came out to bring me in when I couldn't find the place at first; he explained what's happening to the device and what he is doing as he did it. When my hopkins shuttle didn't arrive, he drove me across campus at 1am just to make sure I got home safe. Juvix is a great guy who cares about his customer's experience, knows what he is doing and clearly loves what he does. I cannot recommend this place enough.
