Love this place, my husband had a new phone no directions came with it. He took it up there , they knew exactly what to do. We always get the guy named David, very knowledgeable. He goes out of his way to help someone. Only draw back US Cellular won't let them sell their phones. But other carriers will. Can't say enough of how good they are. Try them out,.you will love them.❤️

Amazing AMAZING customer service. The guy that helped me today and his lady assistant were both so sweet to me! I do not live in this area and had about 3 hours left of my drive home and they took a look at my phone and helped me understand what was wrong with it. Both of them were extremely friendly and forthcoming and seemed like such genuine people. I was very pleased with how well they treated me as a customer and then didn't even charge me for their time of looking over the phone unlike most places. Thank you guys for being the way you are! Keep it up!!

These guys are by far the best cell phone techs and providers I took my galaxy in there because it would not charge they fixed it on the spot for free I was recommended to go to them by my boss who had the same problem long story short they fixed the problem so I at least bought a good charger from them would have felt bad not giving them any money for their help

Absolute best customer service in town. I have had multiple phones serviced here. If there’s ever an issue, they take care of me. Would rate 6 stars if I could. Highly recommended.

Happened in there some 10 years ago on errand with a friend. David saw my (cracked screen) iphone, told me he would put me in newest model for about $100. He did it and after buying my old one for the parts, net $100. From that point on, I’ve never gone anywhere else, and he’s become a good friend. He’s also repaired my phone when I fully expected to buy a new card one, saying my old one repaired would be just as good. Everyone there alone is better than the lot of Verizon/Sprint/Etc employees all together. If you want to have a cell phone service advocate who will put you in a good phone, not charge you 2x thru a bad LT contract , someone you can trust, go to AMA. You’ll be telling your friends about them. James, the destroyer (of iphone screens)

Good people, they know there stuff. Prices are good lots of phones to choose from. Although I've had an incident there where and employee dropped and cracked my phone while cleaning it said I wasn't hard but once I got it home the crack started running down the screen underneath the glass that I had to put on the front of it I took it back and they wouldn't have buds any that it was their fault so I don't go there no more needless to say but you people out there and do what you want maybe they'll straighten things with you if they do wrong and will admit to it they sure didn't for me

I went in for phone water damage and didn't even get the name of the individual working on the phone he operated so quickly. I searched out the store in an attempt to avoid buying a new phone, and within 20 minutes he diagnosed the issue and replaced the part for $20. This was beyond an exceptional experience, absolutely going back here first whenever another phone issue arises. 5/5

She was very helpful in getting me a phone cover & told me the price & it'd be a week before it came in.My friend who took me up there told me if I ever had a problem with my phone, any problem they could help me with it. They were helpful, fast and competent when repairing my phone. Then when the party they replaced was defective, they replaced it easily, quickly, and with no trouble the second time. He was careful to check all parts the second time including what was not working on the defective party as well as what my original replacement was. They even let me come in later than they normally do repairs to replace the defective part. Everyone was friendly and helpful and the prices are great.

Don't be fooled by outside appearances. This shop is family owned and been around for a long time. They are the best local cell phone place. I love the service and phone I got from them. I've also had great luck with a repairing expensive phone for $30 and under 5 minutes when Verizon deemed it unrrpairablr and a replacement was starting at $300. I think this place is now my go to for no hassle cell phone service. They will not BS you <3

I have had several issues with an iPhone recently where I went to AMA for a new phone and needed a new battery as well, even though I was outside of my 30 day warranty, the owner was nice enough to make an exception. Every time we go there the entire staff are super friendly and helpful!!! Would recommend to people looking for new phones or even repairs.

Every time that I've come here I've been treated very kindly. Staff obviously love their job and are proactively trying to give great customer service. As a business owner myself, I can definitely appreciate when a family owned business is doing well for themselves and for their community. It seems everyone there is bilingual so be careful what you say! Great place.

I needed a phone NOW and only had so much money.. I ended up with a straight talk from Wally World... but went back to get a case and screen protector.. I was a little short on cash... the Lady cut me some slack... I WILL go back..

My first visit to AMA Wireless and my experience was outstanding! I have a multi-phone plan with one of the National providers and one phone quit charging. I live 30 minutes away, so searched for cell phone repair in Asheville. After visiting 4 locations handling repairs, none had the part I needed, and 3 out of those 4 could use a lesson in customer service. Then I lucked out. AMA not only had the part, but the price I was charged was on the low side of all the quotes received from the other 4. And their customer service was top-notch! They took extra time to test the phone before I left. It's been a month and the phone is working perfectly. I have already recommended them to my circle of friends and family, and I won't hesitate to drive 30 min. to use them as my first and only choice in the future!

I had a brand new I phone that Spectrum Mobile would not unlock for me even though I had paid it off in full. After trying to get resolution and hours of frustration on the phone with Spectrum, I just stopped in to AMA to see if they could help. They unlocked the phone in about 10 minutes and charged me $0! Very friendly and down to earth LOCAL business. I am a customer for life! BTW Spectrum Mobile is EVIL!!

best place to get phone unlocked. unlike most cell carrier store fronts, the staff here are quite knowledgeable. 5 stars because it suits me perfect. im sure some people would prefer if the customer service was better. however, i will always prefer staff with good product knowledge over staff with a better customer service..

David really took care of me. A coworker had suggested I bring my Moto X Gen 2 with a broken screen here for repair. He had his Moto X repaired here. The first attempt didn't quite work as planned. While he was installing the new screen David cracked the screen. He was terribly sorry for the inconvenience and promptly placed an order for another screen. The second screen arrived and David installed it but there were some complications with the IR sensor which caused complications with making calls. I called and spoke to Preston to explain what I was experiencing and David called me back and again apologized for the trouble and ordered a replacement phone. I am now sporting a new Moto X Gen 2 that works like a charm. He even upgraded me from an 8GB to 16GB in the process. It may have taken a little patience but I am pleased with the end results and the commitment AMA made to making things right. Thank you David, Preston and staff.

Big shout out to ama THANK YOU!! after 1001 question's we asked i can honestly say these guys are amazing never once did I feel rushed or pushed into a decision. When time come to us leaving we weren't prepared financially for what plans we needed in our situation so all I'm going to say this man Dave - Co owner went above and beyond to make us new customers of ama we left with two new activated phones and very very happy with service we live almost an hour away from Asheville but are very proud to be doing business with ama. Very good service the owner took care of a problem I didn't think could be fixed.i went there with a phone that couldn't be used and a phone card I couldn't activate .
