Food is great. The only reason I gave a 4 star for food is, I ordered the largest party tray. I didn't get any pickles on the side and they could be more generous with the mayo, oil, onions etc for that big of a hoagie tray.

We ordered a super large tray for a party. The subs are great, except they sent us the wrong ones, and forgot the oil and vinegar and did nothing to fix it. I did like that they individually wrapped each sub. Reached out via their feedback form and never heard from them.

These sandwiches are EXCELLENT! As an Italian, I would know a high-quality sandwich. The Sharp Italian is definitely one of the Top 5 best sandwiches I ever had. The sandwich was very, very well made. And quick. Excellent quality ingredients put together perfectly. Very clean store, decent AC on a hot day, too! No clutter, neat and organized. No riff-raff hanging around. The storefront renovation really improves the image. However.. there was definitely a big-time negative vibe going on staff-wise. Also, the other disappointment was the rewards/perks app and website sign-up not working. Texting PRIMO to sign up didn't work, either. And the Contact Us link? Not working

My family and I have been ordering from this location for years with no issues. The hoagies are fresh and the signature seeded bread really makes Primos the best! My go-to is the Bada Bing cutlet hoagie, but I've tried also tried a wide variety of the others and they were all very good - even the veggie sandwich. The orders don't take too long and the staff are nice. Highly recommend!

Food has been good when you get what you order. Last two times I ordered and had delivered, Items were missing twice and other items were substituted for things I am not able to eat. Not happy..

Sandwich was good but it all depends on what you are buying. This place is part of a franchise, so it's all about who is working there. If they care about how they make your food then it will be nice

First of all let me say that I love Primo Hoagies which is a regular stop for me. The folks at the Kirkwood Highway location are very friendly and the food is great. This one criticism I have is not directed at the folks who work there. I have to say however, that a very recent concern I have is the fact that all of a sudden there is far less meat on the hoagies then in recent past. Not just a little less, a lot less. The first time it happened I thought perhaps it was simply an isolated occurrence, the result of a particular employee making the sandwich. However, this has now happened on 3 separate occasions so it appears to be a conscious decision by management to reduce the volume of meat. The decrease in the portion of meat is very noticeable. I showed my wife the last hoagie I got, which had so little meat she responded are you kidding me? I've said to friends and family repeatedly over the years that the failure of many long established restaurant to survive usually begins with the sudden and noticeable reduction in food portions. People not only look for good food but a good value as well. I know this is done sometimes to manage cost, however you would be better off charging more money but keeping the portions the same. To be honest if this doesn't change, sadly, I will probably look for an alternative. Update- I got a very quick response from management that they will look into my concern which I appreciate. As a result changing my review.

Excellent chain subshop. Seeded rolls are far better than the average roll in the area. A wider selection of cheese, including Cooper Sharp, than others as well. The roast beef was nice and red with a good mild flavor and no pieces of fat like other places. The lettuce was shredded iceberg that was a little limp and getting on the old side.

The sandwiches are delicious and always hit the stop....yummmm! The staff is friendly. The location is clean. I suggest calling in advance because they tend to be business and short staffed. Also, make sure you set up the online app and get text coupons frequently.

My husband and I love getting Primos hoagies! And have never had an issue before. Today we were really craving a hoagie and we ordered through Grubhub (the online order through primos was down). When our hoagies were delivered I opened mine to find a black hair on the bread. I love the food but I was so disgusted by that.

They are so AWESOME . I t huh ink we are going to go to this Primo's for now on. They listen to what you want on your subs. They repeated what you ordered on the phone. & get it right. The other store we went to last time never again. They just put what you did not ask for... The Primo's we are going to now is forther away. That is ok to us bc they make better subs & they listened. & this store has better staff.

My favorite hoagies! Generous helpings, tasty swiss cheese, thin & freshly sliced turkey. Turkey Schwartzie is go-to sandwich; cole slaw has a wee bit of horseradish to keep things interesting. I usually get a small size. I don't know where company sources its hoagie rolls but they're always fresh with a satisfying crunch that hoagie rolls MUST have. Facility is very clean, service prompt.

First off I'm happy this Primos just changed location and didn't close permanently, I got scared when I saw the sign on the door in Bear. This new spot is pretty hard to find, but that's Delaware's confusing highway system and poor signage (I'm not from the area). Hoagies are still delicious. However the last time I got one from here it was too spicy, and as a result my stomach was killing me the next morning. It's not a big deal though, I can avoid that by getting the mild Italian. On the plus side I love the new building, it's much larger on the inside. The original place was the size of my bedroom, and I have a small room. Lol. I will definitely be coming back, these are the best hoagies I've ever had. ***Correction*** This Primo's did not move from Bear, it was always here. I was confused. Lol

Fell in love with primos while working in philly. This store is great and the owner is clearly involved in the day to day. Only problem is the primo size hoagie is never the same size. To the point now it’s barely 8in long and for $8-10 that’s a little disappointing. And the fact that I’ve been told that’s it’s 1/2 the size of the whole hoagie which is like 20inch long is also kind of weird. But it’s a great hoagie nonetheless. Maybe just get the whole and cut it. Might be better for price.

Called at 7:30 on Friday night. Hours indicate that this store closes at 8:00. The person who answered the phone said they closed at 7:00. On a Friday night? Very disappointed. Have been back a few time since and have had good experiences. Staff was very helpful and the food was terrific.

I'm from Wilmington, so Capriotti's is king, but Primo's gives it a run for the money. Try the Old Italian with dry cured meats and sharp provolone. It may be a chain, but the quality is there. Sign up for texts for discounts.

The best Hoagies aka Subs in Delaware. If you like a little spice with your traditional Italian Hoagie get the Italian Diabolo. Primo uses the best rolls and thinly sliced meats and cheeses and a lot of both!
